when I switched from TMO prepaid to Simple Choice family plan, I was told I would need a new sim. As a courtesy, the rep I chatted with send me 3 free sims for the 3 new phones coming onto the family plan.
As per PrePaidPhoneNews , TMobile is offering free SIM Activation Kits (limit 2 ???). Link

I personally don't think it really needs a case anyway.

|xoxoangelz||Anyone recommend a good case for this phone? It looks like there were lots out there that only fit the 520 instead of the 521... Thanks!|

I'm still on the $2.99 tzone plan. But may have to check this plan you indicated, as this neuron 5239 will be dying eventually. It is abt 3 yrs old. I still have the nexus 1 that i used for abt a week, didn't care for it. Went back to this neuron and now tzones wont work on the nexus. Hate to give up on the 2.99 tzones.
Thanks 4 the heads up. Will rep when i'm on my laptop.

Unless of course you're on a $2.99 T-Zones rate, in which case it may or may not be worth it to you.
It's for classic plan users who are no longer under contract. I switched my $10/mo 5GB/unlimited Web2go to $5/mo 5GB/unlimited "Bridge to Value," which no longer restricts phone choice.
Actually don't know if WP8 handsets are blocked from T-Zones and Web2go. I know that WP7 handsets were not blocked. That may have been because WP7 was just a silverlight overlay on Windows CE, which was allowed under T-Zones and Web2go. The fact that Howardforums wiki doesn't mention Windows Phone restrictions makes me think that WP8 is allowed. Tried googling up something more conclusive, but found nothing.

correct me if i'm wrong, this nokia does work with T-ZONES? TIA
i understand this nokia works with T-ZONES for now, until tmo puts a stop to it like they did with the google nexus.

Since one of the slickdeals mods killed my thread, I'll post it here --
They're used for $104.99, with accessories, and from a reputable seller. I'm pretty sure they're just open-box returns. It's about 25% off the after-tax walmart price.

The key is to use a non-T Mob SIM card to unlock the 521.

Some other forums said it might be because of the phone could already been unlocked.
Can anyone check if ##782# does the same as for me? If it does, can you also check if is unlocked by replacing the SIM card in the mobile? Unfortunately, I don't have any other SIM with me, especially micro.
