|Phoeniix||One time exception worked perfect, they said the promo is expired but got them to agree on adjusting after order is placed. Took about 5min - I talked to the Kindle division|

I asked if it was possible to get $20 off the PW. They said yes and to put the promo code in. I said the promo code wouldn't work for me, but I would still buy it asap if I could get $20 off which was true since I wouldn't buy it for 119. They said to buy it and then they would price adjust it after I bought it which they did. The entire process took about 4-6 minutes from my first question to the price adjustment.
The reason I wouldn't buy it for 119 is because I ordered a Kobo Aura HD for $184 on April 25, but it has yet to ship. $184 vs $120 is close, but I'd rather have the Aura since it's better. $184 vs $100 is a different story since now the Aura has to be almost twice as good as the PW which it is likely not. Plus I've been waiting for the Aura to ship and I'm sick of it. I got the PW with one day shipping. I'm hoping I can have it by next Wed or sooner.

I remembered after I ordered that there's 6 months of free prime for college students. I changed to 1 day shipping ($4 with prime), but I'm not sure if I did it in time for the system to use it.

Functions just fine with the magnetic cover on/off. Not as slick as the amazon case, but for 20% the price I can live with that....

Probably less of an effect though than staring at a backlit screen. If I really want to read to sleep I use a Nook Simple Touch with an incandecent reading light.
