|pablomoca||Ended up buying the gw5600-j1 after reading some reviews and seeing the discounted price at Kohl's. Thanks a lot.|

|freeforlife||Same price at Walmart yesterday, so bought it at Kohls and pricematched it to Walmart. So came to $34 after PM and 15% coupon. If you can manage another $16 at Kohls then with Kohls cash considered it ends up roughly $27 to $28.|

I wouldn't recommend a product I halfheartedly like. It's really a great, comfortable watch and I think you guys won't be disappointed. I'm always excited to see if it was able to sync to atomic time the previous night and I would say it does so 13/14 times (with me wearing it to bed all the way in New Jersey). Really the only time it doesn't is when I have it stored away out of sight.
Thanks for the reps!

Yes, thanks for posting as well and repped - I bought the watch from Kohl's for solar and atomic functions. I don't wear a watch often but want it to work when I pull it out of the drawer. At least this one can be charged up.

I wish I had a Kohls charge to get that price, but I'm not going to sign up for another credit card just to get this watch. If you see any non Kohls credit card deal, be sure to let us know!

It's a square! But, looks can be deceiving as that model has atomic and solar capabilities.

Why does this G-Shock looks so simple/old-school?

I agree. I posted this in the other thread:
I HIGHLY recommend the gw5600-j1
Solar and atomic, plus it looks sweet. I've been wearing this one since November of last year. Absolutely love it!
You can often get it from Kohls for 49 + tax:
Use 30% off and free shipping code:
Per other threads, use code FLOWERS30 for 30% off and KC2UFREE for free shipping. (Kohls charge card required).
LOVE this watch - this is the cheapest you'll find it and it's worth every penny.
I made a thread on this a while back: Deal

It is a shame that my favourite watch, the Casio UV100 is no longer available.
It is a small waterproof women's watch that also measured UV.
My previous on lasted 17 years before dying. I even used to swim in the ocean with it.

|trdrav4||Not a bad deal considering that these were $25 back in 2008 from Amazon.|

My timex broke (again) so I was recently looking at the casios.
What I can't get over is how incredibly stupid the alarms are on most casios.
Check it out yourself. One alarm that can't figure out weekends:
The $90 casio linked above has 4 alarms but they can only go off every day.
I ended up getting another $@#@$# timex just because the Ironman/Marathon/Expedition alarms can be set to only go off on week days, or the weekend.
If casio comes out with a watch with electronics more advanced than the 1980s I'll look at them again. Given my track record with timex watches breaking I'll be shopping in another few months...
