The deal is on again. Apparently, Toshiba gets rid of small Excites, switches to 10-inch only. Anyway, here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI....OC

A case would be nice. It almost slips off my hands twice. And I am afraid a single drop would take my screen off the frame.

I have been debating whether to keep it or return it...

I only with I could find a cheap/decent case and that it didn't use the proprietary connector for charging.

I received the tablet. In landscape direction, when I hold the left side (that had cameras), I can feel the screen is not latched or glued well. you can hear clicking sound clearly. I tried to ignore it, but every time I hold that side, it bothers me.
Am I the only one that had this issue?

I suppose turning the brightness down may help.

|pur||Screen not so impressive: taskbar burn in by the second day I guess you have to rotate the screen every few minutes to prevent it from becoming ruined?! Think I'm going to have to return...|

Got mine today.... pretty impressive screen. I'm trying to upgrade it to 4.1. It seems you first have to do a 4.0 upgrade.
The battery seems to charge slowly though... or maybe I'm just in a rush.
Hmmm.. seems it says Adobe Flash is not supported if I upgrade to 4.1?

Forget about cheap. Toshiba practically abandoned accessories for this in the US. Get it where you can if you really want it. Skinnymargins shipped me the Excite 10 dock which works fine, but fits a bit loose. My tablet crashes about once every two days when I leave it on the dock. Requires holding the power button for 15 seconds and waiting for a cold boot.
I'll reiterate the build quality on this tablet is superb. My primary reason for ignoring the lack of micro-usb charging was the dock which disappeared around the time I bought mine, but I eventually got one. Other than the crash mentioned above it is rock-solid and a pleasure to use compared to my other android tablets (viewsonic g-tab, hp touchpad).
To the bezel complainer: that's where you put your fingers when you hold a tablet. It may not be super great to look at, but that's the reality of using a tablet.
