That sucks!!! This is the reason I only buy my refurbished products from either B&M store (If I can return it) and APPLE (Because their refurbished IPADS have new screen and only the internal are refurbished except the battery which is new).

|tooloud10||I think "Seller Refurbished" is worse than just being used. It means that it started out as a used broken iPad, and some random person "fixed" it. Now you're buying it. Just not worth the risk of the hassle, if you ask me...especially when Apple refurb iPad 3s are barely more.|

|MusicComposer||This is a pretty good price for an iPad 2 64GB, the GPU still destroys a Tegra 3 or other comparable devices while playing games. You also get access to the App Store which has exclusives not found on Android...like X-Com, Infinity Blade, Monkey Island series, The Walking Dead, and productive apps like FL Studio, Cubase, and more. Like others have said though, the new ones will be out in October or so which would drive the price down even further if you can wait. At that point the iPad 3 will be down to this price.|

16GB iPad 2 refurb is $319 through Apple. However, I'd be more tempted to get a 16GB iPad 3 refurb through Apple for $379.
Then again, new iPad's should be coming out in a few months which will probably drive the price of the current refurbs down even further.

|kn9ght||lol. Good luck buying "seller refurbished". I bought from them (all4cellular) 5 ipad 2's when they had ipad 2 16GB on sale for $280. All of them had terrible screens. For some, the edge of the screen popped out open, for some, they had dead pixels and brighter spots and worst of all, one ipad had dead touchscreen. So think twice before you buy "seller refurbished" from them. Better off buy good "used" items|

|adamant||If capacity is not a concern, 16GB refurbished from apple are the same price.|

This should raise a red flag.

I think I'd buy a nook hd+ and a 32GB mSD card for it and put an extra $100-ish back in my pocket. Unless you absolutely have to have the cameras and don't want to use your phone for that.
The hd+ has a better screen, faster cpu and twice the ram. Add in the seller refurbished and this would have to be about $50-75 cheaper to be a good price. If it was apple refurbished, maybe.

On one hand, pretty darn good price for 64GB.
On the other hand, I don't get Apple's insane price increases for increased HDD space within each model. What's up with that?
Also they don't manufacture IPad 2s with anything more than 16GB any more, so I imagine it'd be hard to find a New one with 32 or 64.

From the listing: NOTE: Item may contain some scratches or slight dents on the back, sides or corners of the tablet due to prior usage. The screen of the device is in perfect condition, however, and this item has been tested thoroughly and is in perfect working condition.[/QUOTE]This means that the seller has replaced the digitizers on the device. It is unknown whether the seller used original Apple digitizers and it is entirely possible that you will get one with a generic Chinese digitizer that won't perform as well and will scratch easier.
