|blueribb||Mine arrived in a plain white box but looked brand new. Assembly took a couple minutes and I left it charge for a full 24 hrs. It works great for light duty trimming but forget about edging. I bought a refurb B&D Edge Hog that does that job quite well. Walmart sells a 2-pack B&D string/spools for $9.75 so I picked up a pack.|

The worst thing about it is the design of the hook for the cord. It continually slips off. I have taken to just tying the power cord thru the handle.

|MonstBlitz||I bought one of these a couple years back. It came with 2 batteries which is absolutely necessary. If this model only comes with one, it's not going to cut it. I only have a tiny townhouse lawn to trim and I can't even finish that without switching batteries. And once the battery starts diminishing it gets unusable very quickly. Great for small townhouse lawns or for any lawn where the trimming is minimal. But for big jobs the battery life will drive you crazy.|

|GuitsBoy||deadski... Already have a new gas trimmer, but its such a pain. I would have loved a cheap electric for quick tasks.|

|NJJohnny||I had a B&D trimmer/edger and it lasted for years. Definitely good for trimming. I have a lot of sidewalk to edge (corner house) with grass on both sides and find that it does not have enough sustained power for a lot of edging. For the price with shipping included you cant go too wrong for light work as long as the battery is good and it works well.|

Last year got a similar deal (refurb.), but with two external batteries.
It was looking like new.
Still running like a champ and I'm very happy with it. Two batteries are more than enough to trim my house pretty well.
