I called two different Dell CS and was on the phone with them for over 15 minutes each, and none of them were able to do a price adjustment for me. They kept telling that I paid for the warranty which it is in fact included for free when I made the purchase. How did you end up convincing them to do a price adjustment for you? I know the price difference is only about $31 which not much but worth a shot.

This seems to be a good review:

I had one of these for a few weeks, the antiglare didn't bother me nearly as much as others on here, but the colors were oversaturated in aRGB mode and sRGB wasn't great, it just left everything undersaturated instead. I don't have a hardware calibrator so maybe that would help. But I think you also need a video card that supports 10bit color to really get the most out of it.

I'm also puzzled by the extreme hate. I've had one of these for about 2 years now and it's the best monitor I've ever owned. My wife is an amateur photographer and I'm a professional motion picture editor, so we actually use this panel for its intended 'professional' purposes. The anti-glare coating is definitely more pronounced than some other matte panels out there, but color accuracy on this panel is pretty much unrivaled. If you're going to actually consider doing color timing on a glossy panel than you're either a) insane or b) color blind.
Lag is negligible too... I play BF3 on this thing frequently too, never felt like it was laggy. Then again I'm not the best/sharpest gamer like some of you here probably claim to be... but odds are, you wouldn't notice the difference either, in spite of what you might say

Generally, if you have never heard of wide gamut, you don't need it and don't want it. Without proper calibration it just leads to jacked up, oversaturated colors. The only application for wide gamut is in high end photography and printing, and even there it's debatable. The 2713HM, or really any of the "generic" eBay equivalents will give you 100% sRGB coverage and will actually be more accurate for 98% of users.
