The type of buyer who'll stick this lens on and never change it should buy a D3100, not a D7100. Maybe even a P&S.
If you're worried about dust, buy a rocket blower for $5.
This is a nice travel lens, though there are better options, but if it's your only lens, you bought the wrong camera.

|mugupo||I use 18-200mm vr ii before in d7000 actually, didn't like the image quality, I probably gonna get d5200 bundles, i need the extrange range of 300m and is also lighter.|

you will get sick of this 18-200mm after a while for heavy on the neck and just keep leaving the slr bags in the closet.
35mm 1.8G or 50mm 1.8G and go light will get you lots of memorable photos.

|Gosh||The lens is no good for this camera - bad combo.|

|bleuiko||From my experience, Costco pricing is usually competitive but never really a super deal.|

|vulcZ||Seems like an okay deal, but only because we haven't seen any deals for this camera yet. You do get the benefit that it's from Costco though.|

Nikon D7100 DSLR Nikkor 18-200mm VRII Lens Bundle 1800 at Costco
Costco has the new Nikon D7100 APS-C sensor DSLR with 18-200mm VRII lens for 1799.99 after instant rebate.
Who knows about the bag and the SD Card, but the bundle price alone on the camera and lens is pretty good.
If you bought the body and lens at B+H it would be 1793.90. The hard to find WU-1a wireless adapter ($60) would put you over the top. The SD card probably isn't the best, but sweetens the deal.
Only thing to consider is tax, which would be free for all but New Yorkers at B+H.
