I had the same issue - called WD support today and complained about the Xbox freezing issue, as well as the more recent issue with wireless freezing. Both my consoles would play media for up to 5 minutes and then freeze - wired or wireless.
I took both my 360s off the MyNet and they are now running to a switch right off my Internet service, unfortunately had to move the server and other devices there as well so I could stream.

|Brobee||Anyone having issues with their xbox 360 and / or PS3 freezing and requiring a hard reboot? This router is pretty awesome until you try and stream from windows media center to an extender... Anyone having this issue?|

|Brobee||I take my positive review back. Don't buy if you're using WMC and xbox 360 or ps3 extenders. The routers freeze both consoles.... I'm keeping one as a wireless access point, but I've reverted back to my POS ea4500|

|sklar||Are you folks having problems with overheating and/or dropped connections and/or performance issues turning the fastrack qos off? Because the unit uses hardware acceleration with fastrack on, but has to do the work manually if you shut it off. I've been running it with the fastrack on the whole time, the unit barely gets warm to the touch, and I've had zero problems with dropped wired or wireless connections or performance in wireless or routing throughput.|

OK, I gave this thing rave reviews initially...well after a little over a week of use...this thing is dropping connections like a MF.
What the hell could have gone wrong...

Had to return the router to the store. Performance honestly sucked compared to my older WRT610N (w/dd-wrt). Tried the latest firmware and my two biggest issues:
1) Absolutely would not work with either of my Xbox 360 consoles (250gb fat and 4gb slim). Booted up and within 10 minutes it would freeze if plugged into the network. [never tried wireless]
2) Browsing a network share (Windows 7 homegroup movies folder) was noticeably slower than before.
That was even after disabling QoS/Fasttrack and assigning static dns to each device.

Mine kept dropping hard wired connections. Wouldn't be good as a switch at all.

|BilboFraggins||For anyone thinking of returning like I did, the price now rings up at $21.50. There is a 20% off coupon in the hot deals section that brings it down to $17.20+ tax. At worst, you can use this just for wired routing with 7 gig ports.|

|xcub||Did a firmware update and it got locked up 3 times during setup - reset once but similar symptom. Hold out for a different brand.|
