|Michael02||Don't buy the Sabbath one. I own it and for some reason Iron Man is cut short and that alone is both confusing and infuriating.|

|Frugie||YIkes! I already bought my son 6 CDs from this sale! 3 Metallica CDs and 3 Black Sabbath CDs. But I do want to get him Metallica's Kill 'Em All and The Black Album, too, since I've heard that those two are really good ones. Decisions, decisions...|

Hope you picked up Kill 'Em All! The self titled album "Metallica" (aka The Black Album) is also good. Might wanna skip over most of the 90's albums if you're looking for hard rock / thrash metal and jump straight to Metallica S&M (1999) and Death Magnetic (2008).

|Frugie||Bought 3 Black Sabbath CDs: Heaven and Hell, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, and Master of Reality. It was really hard to choose three from all the Sabbath CDs!|

Probably not of interest to most people but if you are very particular about sound quality, be careful with remasterings of old titles--some are louder than prior versions and some people find that unpleasant to listen to. The Steve Hoffman forum has pretty detailed information on a lot of individual classic rock titles. The problem is some recommended versions are hard to find or expensive audiophile versions, but some can be picked up used for very cheap. For some artists, they have posts which cover all albums by an artist (like a buyer's guide).
Here's a Sabbath:
Rush has a lot of discussion too. There's some Japanese 1st pressings which I think are expensive but "Atomics" (U.S. & West German) supposedly are plentiful and cheap.
What Atomics look like:
