|bluefakeplastic||Got a quick response about the loose fabric, cracked/peeled label within the shorts, and the fact that they're likely knock offs. They just shot me a prepaid return label and assurance I'll receive refund upon receipt. I can live with that.|

|inspyral||I took a shot and contacted Tanga about the quality of the shorts and possibly returning them. They actually got back to me late Sunday night and asked for a picture, so I snapped a few and sent them. I was expecting the standard "send them back and we'll refund you, minus shipping" or at most a prepaid shipping label. Today I got a series of emails in my inbox: a refund alert from PayPal, a refund alert from Tanga, and a reply from Tanga to my original inquiry saying I didn't need to ship the shorts back. While the quality of these shorts could have been a lot better, it's nice to know Tanga's customer service is top notch.|

got mine, however poor quality. Threads loose. Draw string plastic cover was not on resulting in thread being pulled. Inside seam loose threads.
All tags on inside were cut. Also, tag on outside was cut in half so can not verify size. Only says reebok on shorts itself.
With all this being said, will keep them as they still look decent and comfortable. If this was purchased from amazon with free ship back, I would have returned them.
I also believe these are fakes as well.

|inspyral||Also got mine today and completely agree about the quality. Tried to tie off the loose threads as best I could so they don't unravel. Debating whether it'd be worth the trouble to return them.|

Mine also had a hole at the bottom of one of the stripes that I didn't see before I took off the tag to wash.
Also, first hand wash it with detergent in the sink before you wear it, separate from all your other clothing. Whatever that rust-color chemical is, I hope it's not teratogenic or carcinogenic
Edited to add: I think these are counterfeit, no way a name brand would have this kind of quality. One of mine has white drawstrings and the other has blue, one already started to rip along a stripe-seam. The UPC on the label and on the actual shorts do not match.
I would return them but I already washed them - and the hole got bigger. I'd still return them even with Tanga's crappy return policy: pay return shipping and they'll refund you less shipping charge. So you'd probably get $10 back from the original $20.

|lemonsama||Order arrived and really disappointed in the quality of the shorts. Definitely throwback shorts. Exactly like above poster stated. Loose stitching everywhere as well as stitching crossing over to other stitching.|

I think it might have been made in 2006.
It might also be factory rejects because both of mine have so many loose stitching everywhere around the waistband especially by the label. I don't think I will shop at Tanga again.

Decided not to order these after just now receiving an answer to a question I emailed their customer service about yesterday morning:
