Thanks! Picked up a few new subscriptions!
And for the person asking about conditions the comics come in, for some reason I have had better luck with DC than with Marvel. My Marvel comics come beat all to hell but my DC ones seem to survive the trip the best, which in and of itself is amusing because I do believe they come from the same shipper.

|DrunkenOrgy||Heck at $1 an issue, delivered it is worth it. Collectors know better than to receive a MINT comic thru our friends at the USPS but still, $1 per comic. Thanks|

I think the last series I tried following was the Marvel Knight Punisher series, but I hated how they ended the one story arc with a cliche ending and stopped buying any after that.
Maybe I'll check out my local store and see if they still have the $.50-$1 bins and try to find some tolerable back issues.
But as it stands I should try yard saling my mostly 90's crap for $.25 each. It'll kill me to drop em for that cheap but I know there's probably zip worth more than that.

Dont get what you people are looking for. Bendis had this set up from dissembled and it was great thought out plan. If you complain about the tie ins your doing your comics wrong. i skip all but what is on my pull list.
The ending was simple, not going to spoil it but if you don't get it, I don't know how to explain it. It is about fighting for what is right no matter who it is up against and learning to save others sometimes you have to stop fighting even though you were doing it for the better good.
Then Cap #25 happend, and that spun into more amazing stories, thanks Bru

It's not even the mail carriers fault. The comics go through a sorting machine and sometimes the mail gets jammed and if your comic was in there, it most likely will come beat up.

5 - Pretty much mint
9 - Good but I wouldn't call them mint
3 - Average
2 - Kind of beaten up and sort of annoying
2 - Very bad (creases and folds that won't come out with some small tears)
A lot of it has to do with how your mail carrier typically treats/organizes your mail and the shape of your mailbox. The ones that I got in bad condition were because they got shoved in the mailbox with a bunch of heavier stuff on top of them. If you subscribe to any magazines and they typically arrive in bad condition then assume the same will happen with your comics.
It would be cool if there were an option to pay slightly more for a subscription and have them shipped with a hard cardboard back.

That said, where are the Marvel titles here? Title should say "DC only - no Marvel", because there were a number of Marvel titles that I wanted to subscribe to at the $15 rate, but none are listed.

If you read...this is the way to go. If you collect...this is not the way to go.

|Demonstrable||I've been happy enough with Batman and Aquaman from last year's deal so I'm in for another year.|
