|AvidBuyer||The asus deal was probably the deal of the year on a 14" class laptop as I have been searching for 3 months and I have been unable to match it.|

Got my U310 today. Wifi was a little buggy until I reinstalled Windows. My Wifi reception is awful still though. My trackpad isn't installed properly either. It's flush with the palm rest on one side and about 1mm below the palm rest on the other. There is also some major play when I tap on the right side. I'm going to replace it in store because of the defect. Another thing I noticed is the speakers are terrible. It pretty much only plays highs and sounds very tinny. At 100% volume it sounds distorted.
Compared to my Vivobook, I like my Vivobook better so far. Advantages of the U310 over the Vivobook are brighter screen, ability to boot from the mSata, slightly better viewing angles. Advantages of the Vivobook: fastboot option in the bios, better trackpad, MUCH better sound, and slightly better colors(my opinion of course)

Appliances and Housewares, Calculators, Case Paper, Decorative Accessories, Flash Drives, Food
and Breakroom, Furniture, Ink & Toner, Safes and Security, Shredders, Technology, Tech Services
and Copy & Print services.
Not valid on computers, unless some naive associate would let you use it.

so we just went in-store (Los Angeles- San Fernando St) and was able to get the U310 with the total price $460 (after tax). so the $100 coupon and the Office was included. The computer was open box, so we got an additional 5% off, which is better than nothing. You should go try it in-store if they have it instock!!!! Thanks OP
Have anyone heard of this deal? If you buy a $10 Student card, get 15% off everything including computers and electronics? Is that a good deal? (we did not combine it with this order though)

Just got the deal with the Dell Inspiron 660 Desktop PC over the phone. Price dropped to about $380 plus tax, bringing my total to around $414!!! The customer service person from Staples was awesome & professional, and she was able to stack the discounts for me after a while being on hold.
Thanks SlickDeals!!! You just saved me a bunch of money!

What exactly did you buy that it worked on? Was there anything else in the transaction?
I am still considering buying it for being my new primarily "home laptop" computer. I can't decide whether to go with the U310 for $450 or the Toshiba for $400.
