This mount is by far the easiest to mount and dismount your phone or gps!

This mount has some type of sticky residue that allows it to stick to surfaces that normal suction grips fall off on. If that doesn't work, they include a 3M Base Sticker that probably will make it work regardless of what surface its going to be put on.
I was curious how the one handed operation works, but now I realize the grip is pretty strong as previous posters have said. If you have a case on your phone, it shouldn't be a problem as you slide the phone against the rubber protective clamps. If you don't have a case, well, that might be an issue as it does use some force repeatedly to remove and install your phone which could mark up your phone.
Overall, I'm pretty impressed with it. It takes up a small footprint compared to other mounts I've used. At $10 it's an okay price. I wouldn't pay more for it. You can easily buy mounts at Ross or Marshals for about the same price or less.

|Dajinn||mine came today, the dash of the 2011 nissan altima is no flat in any convenient areas so it was hard to find a place to stick it to. i did not want to use the 3m adhesive pad. so i just stuck it up on some glass. it seems to have pretty good force with the clamp down thing on glass like you think most suction mounts would have. only 10 bucks, not bad. the spring loaded thing is tough to do with one hand though with wide phones like the nexus 4. im not worried about marks since i use a case on my phone|

I bought this. I'm a city bus driving instructor and we make a lot of safety videos. It's hard to get a close POV from the driver's eye. I'm going to try to use this with a small Kodak HD camera, that surprisingly, takes pretty good 1080p vids.
Thumbed n repped
