|eatmybabies||i think the drive is ok (bought one from staple for 99), but haven't had any other ssd so i can't tell for sure. i wonder if brand like sumsung notifceably out perform this drive. 120gb ssd makes me crastrophobic. need 500gig real soon.|

|donldmn||I stocked up on the Kingston HyperX 3K when they were $60 last November. I have one in each of my computers and can't imagine going back to a HDD. If prices are as low as they were last year, I'll stockpile as much as I can.|

Almost guaranteed your laptop takes IDE. This is SATA so it won't work in your laptop.

On the other side you can then use it in your new netbook/laptop so probably it's better to buy bigger one if you ever decide to do it

|lenovot60||I have a laptop that is 8-10 years old. I was wondering if it is worth it to install a SSD drive on it. I was going to put XP on it. This will be used by the kids for homework, etc. Since this will not be a work horse, should I go with 60 Gig or 120? (Windows XP, MS Office, antivirus software). TIA|
