I didn't know you could do that with iOS apps, but thought it was worth reporting for others having the same problem.

I picked up XCOM for our iPad Mini and it crashes every time I try to launch the first mission. It's completely unplayable.

I'm tempted to buy the game, but I only want to spend the $10 if I know that audio/music will play in the background while the game is running. Specifically, I want to listen to podcasts while playing X-Com--has anyone tried this yet?
Also, I read about all the problems people been having with it crashing using the iPad Mini. I have an iPod Touch 5th Gen--is it an issue for the iPods/iPhones as well?

I just realized that Rebuild was a free app of the day from Amazon a few months back. I never installed it. Maybe I'll give it a whirl.

|virx14||XCOM is definitely worth $10. I wish they released it for Android as well, would buy it too.|

|chejrw||Ascendancy was quite possibly my all-time favourite game, should be interesting to see how well it holds up to an iOS port and nostalgia goggles.|

There seem to be some major issues with crashing on the IPAD mini according to the reviews for XCOM. Has anyone here experienced that or found that it runs fine on the mini?

The comments in here are scary. Someone could sell OG pong for $60, mark it down to $30, and half of you would be excited, because hey, it's a desktop game. DESKTOP!
It was sad watching PvZ2 go "Free"-to-play, but I guess I understand why it did. People seem to have more cents than sense. And that's in a rough economy.
