Given the fact that these are so "cheap" (pun intended), I ordered six of them. These knock off cables usually don't have a very long lifetime, so I thought I might just get a couple extra to have around.
They feel like they're pretty darned good quality, but unfortunately the first one died within a couple days use. The hard plastic housing around the lightning adapter came off and had the wires exposed, with the "chip" still plugged into my iphone. This freaked me out terribly, as I was traveling in Europe and really didn't want the chip to get stuck in my phone and have to try to find an apple store somewhere so that they could remove it (or rather tell me that since it's not a licensed apple product, blah blah blah!)
Hoping that was just a fluke, but if I have similar problems, I might just toss the extras away, and fork out the $ to get an authorized apple product.
The shipping time on these cables was pretty long, as other posts have mentioned.

The world today is full of whining ninnies. Your ancestors (whoever they are) were likely twenty times tougher than you, and they would kick your butt just... because. Because you're afraid of a cable. If you're worried about a cable killing you... seek professional help. Really.
Love and hugs,

|mrjiggles||These cables are garbage. Mine did work for a couple of days, but after I got the message "this accessory may not work for this device" on my iphone and it stopped working. Do yourself a huge favor and don't buy these cables. It even states on there website that some (probably most) of these cables might not work and all sales are final.|

|mrjiggles||Haven't posted in a while, but went through the hassle of finding my slickdeals password just to post and warn people not to buy these cables. They are bad and worse case scenario they may end up damaging your phone. These cables might work for a while, but soon your phone will say "this accessory may not work for you phone" when plugged in and stop charging. When I was able charge my phone with these cables, the battery life was significantly less. My logic to buying these despite the warning was because they were really cheap, but I should have just spent $5 extra dollars to buy a working cable rather than 3 broken ones...|

I placed an order to get some for my mom and then read this thread.
An email has been sent requesting a cancellation. It doesn't seem worth it.

Thanks for this. I checked out the monoprice cables. They are more money but carry a lifetime warranty.

THESE ARE ABSOLUTE TRASH!
They lasted 5 days each then they fell apart. Not to mention they took nearly a month to arrive and their warehouse is 40 miles away from my house.
Here is the response from itechdeals. I emailed them 10 days after receveing them...
I have received your email and was sorry to hear that 2 of your cables broke. As per our policy, we unfortunately can only accept returns or issue refunds up until 7 days after delivery. Please see our return policy on the website:
