I'm in the market for 3 24" monitors for an eyefinity setup.
Dell Ultrasharps sound like the way to go but are these the right ones for the price?
I agree the tax and shipping kind of kills the deal but not sure if anything better will come around during Black Friday time

Interestingly enough if you search for all the U2412M deals, you'll see that this is basically the "on sale" price of the monitor. It tends to go on sale every month or few months based on the search results. The on sale price has been coming down from $279 on 5/9 to $275 on 5/14 to $268 on 6/28 to $260 on 7/11 and now $249.
Check out the $199 price 3 months ago at the Microsoft store. Now THAT was a slick deal.

just try to use up some of my expiring Dell gift cards to upgrade my home
monitors. I could either purchase 2 Dell U2412M (16:10,1920x1200, USB2.0 Hub
, no HDMI, e-IPS) to do Dual Monitor setup or just one Dell U2713HM (16:9,
2560 x 1440, USB3.0 Hub， HDMI, AH-IPS). The total price for these two
solution are almost the same.
I will use these home monitors mainly for internet, youtube, movies, coding
and documents. I almost do not play any games. Should I go with dual U2412M
or just one U2713HM? Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks.

Thumb up to counter the dumasses that TD this deal.
There is nothing more obnoxious than coming to a Dell thread and read a post asking about overclocking and talking about 27" Korean monitors.

This should have more thumbs up than it does.
And anybody who claimed that this deal is "regular price" doesn't know what they're talking about.

|nocturnal0wl||in for 2. the coating should be less of an annoyance for software development than the thunderbolt display I got rid of. I'm glad I can use these displays with my windows laptop.|

|Tarbo||Overrated monitor at normal price imo, but this is a good price if you're looking for this. I regret spending $300 for this, probably because I started gaming again.|
