However, it's only worthwhile if you play any recent 3D games. Your current card is more than sufficient for anything else.

|kross036||Would be much obliged if anyone could offer me their expertise, and tell me if this would be worth upgrading to from my Sapphire Radeon 5830 HD.|

I already opened my 7870 myst today.. didn't see this deal.. sad.. oh well I hope it pays!
(Except if someone can convince me that I should return my PowerColor 7870, eat the restocking fee, and get this instead.. Considering brand and power consumption)

|soam108||I currently have a SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6870 1GB card, how much better is this 2GB 7850?|

I don't feel like making a new thread, so I'll just post it here. Newegg has matched this, but it is slightly better because it is $129.99 - 20 Rebate = $109.99. So less up front and maybe different tax/shipping situations for some. I would've had to pay $5 shipping at TD, but still have my free Shoprunner, so free 2-day shipping for me. I bit on this.

In the market, but I'm not sure if I should jump or wait...
I need a card to push a U2713HM, and I'm building in a small mATX case.
Is this card powerful enough for quality gaming at high rez on my display? (I'm new to PC gaming)
Will this kick off too much heat without two fans in my case?
Should I spend a little more to get something better like the 7950? (any help in understanding the real value would be very helpful)
