Over react much?
If MS and Sony were smarter they would make more of these and allocate them properly. All I did was provide a service of my time. I listed them for auction and people paid what they thought was a fair price for them. Do you no understand how economics works?

I sold my couch on CL and hated the fact that a person had to come to my home, after doing that, I will not do it again, but it ended up being a "normal" person. Be careful when you sell on CL, you are doing the right thing meeting in front of Target but be careful after you leave and I might not walk straight to your car, go inside Target for a while and maybe watch the person get into his car and drive off.

If you are referring to Say's Law of economics that a lack of supply creates demand, this theory has widely been rejected since the 1940's, when the rejection of this theory was concentric to "The General Theory of Employment, Interest and Money" and to Keynesian economics. Since you implied I should read up on economics, I have, and I highly encourage you to read the book by John Maynard Keynes.
Of course, one can never discount the human condition, and people do have a tendency to want what they can't have.
If you were to ask any company which they would prefer; high demand and no product, or high demand and limited product availability, they would most certainly pick the ladder. You cannot make any money if you have no product to sell. There are also huge economics at play here with the competition of the PS4. People who are on the fence of which unit to get, may choose one over the other based upon product availability. Not having product available automatically loses customers who simply want any next gen console before Christmas.
If Sony could put more units on the shelves they would, especially because demand is there. To assume Sony is holding back production simply to keep demand high is asinine.

I think one way to ensure a safe deal is to meet at a PUBLIC place. Like - in a mall, or outside (literally in front of) a big store or inside a hotel - in the lobby, etc.
Definitely not at your house or his house or some other random unfrequented place.

But I can't be happy unless it's at your expense. I crap on you for choosing to take the high ground in this fight, get down here in the trenches with the rest of us and throw some mud.

|Otakulad||Dumbest thread ever. Can't we each just buy the system we want and not crap on each other for the choice we made? Who cares which one is better. Just buy the system you like and be happy with it.|
