I want to add some of my experiences with Proflowers too....
I bought one of these "$30 worth of flowers" voucher from Living Social as well. It seems like a good deal because buying flowers for my wife on Valentines Day is a given, so I might as well knock a few dollars off while I'm at it. The thing that really disappointed me was that they are deceptive with "add-on" prices at the check out. I ordered a dozen long stemmed roses for $49.95. The photo they have of this rose bundle has a vase, but it's not included. You get to choose 3 vases at various prices, otherwise it comes without a vase. The vase that I chose was $14.99,.( some of the other online flowers services do this too). so the total for flowers and vase came out to $64.94.
Then there was the service charges .....
Standard delivery: $18.99
Guaranteed Feb 14 Delivery: $9.99
Care & handling: $2.99
$31.97 in total service fees!. The grand total came out to $96.91 for an item that was $49.95. With the $30 voucher from LivingSocial, it came down to $66.91.
This is my first time dealing with ProFlowers. In the past, I've ordered from 1800Flowers, FTD, Teleflora, and even Costco.com. They all have their Pros and Cons. I made the mistake of buying the $30 voucher on LivingSocial before checking out the Proflowers website.
Bottom line...the $30 voucher was not a deal
On a positive note, the flowers were delivered on time and they looked good, not like the photo on their website but good. I've attached a photo of the flowers and the invoice so you can see the price break down.

EVERYONE should avoid this company like the plague.
Proflowers is nothing more than a telemarketing company with worse ethics.

1/2 the flowers didn't bloom at all, started dying instead....got my refund instead of redelivery. Local grocery: 2dozen for 15 bucks, Proflowers Total: 2 dozen plus $3 vase for $47
seems like a hit or miss, lucky the "thought that counts" and "refund" effect made this beneficial for me
will try this again next year...

I'm glad I drove down to Trader Joes to buy dozen roses for $12.99.
They bloomed nicely.

|Blammm||My "valentine" just got her 12 multicolored roses with no vase in a box that has been sitting in a frozen UPS warehouse for three days. Problem is that I ordered 12 red roses that were supposed to come with a "free clear glass vase!" by 5 PM on 02/14.|

|vas0122||So, I am gonna give 5-6 "Fresh" Krogers or other dept store roses for the same price than these online scam flowers|

|Lightquik||i had the roses shipped to me this past wednesday and they didn't look great when I got them, but by the time friday came around and after the stems were cut, and the water/food packet was put in the roses looked amazing and the girlfriend was really happy. It's sunday now and the roses still look great! I guess it really is hit or miss maybe based on the region since they get it from local florists?|

I don't know about this user, but FWIW there is heavy speculation on the Proflowers facebook page that part of their "social media" team is making the rounds all over the web pretending to be "satisfied customers." You'll see 5-6 posts in a row singing the praises of Proflowers, often with almost identical language about how satisfied they are.
