Caution about BP offer
Caution for anyone availing of this offer: One time $5 Statement Credit When You Make a Single Purchase of $30 or more at the pump at any BP Station. Offer valid through June 30, 2014.
I did not get post-qualifying-purchase email for 2 weeks. Called Amex today and initially, after looking into it, said the offer is no loaded on my card!! Whereas, I loaded the offer on my card a month back. I offered to send them a screen shot that clearly show the offer is loaded on my card. So they looked into it some more and then said there seems to some glitch in the system such that BP purchases are not coming through with all information that would tag them against said offer.
They manually applied the statement credit for me. Not sure if this issue is region specific. But keep an eye on it and make a call if required.

Or take the chance that the revert won't happen. Personally I've seen either ways. It's 50/50.

|czr007||has anyone had a credit post to their account and later had it reversed out bc they were overcharged or had to return something? i spent $50+ at lowes, got the credit from amex, but realized that i was overcharged a few bucks so lowes refunded that to my card... only problem is that technically i am at like $48 spent at lowes when the return-credit is factored in.. its a connundrum bc i dont want to go to lowes, and i dont want to waste lose my $10 credit..|

"You are eligible for the credit back. The merchant credit will appear automatically on your account within 6-8 weeks from the date of transaction. "

ah, I didn't clicked "Save offer". So, I will chat/call them and see if they will give me the credit. Otherwise I'll have to buy another $50 gift card again. Thanks!

I logged into my amex account, and I saw I got $10 off $50 in my account. I went to Lowe's and buy $50 gift card.
I didn't see $10 credit in my account yet. Just wondering, do I have to save this deal in my amex account before buying $50 at Lowe in order to qualify the $10 credit? Thanks!

Bought $50 GC on 2 separate Amex at Lowes but did not receive the "Thanks for using your synced card" email notification yesterday 5/20.
Is Amex email notification down?
