Too bad it's a rebate deal. I've been educated through experience to view rebates as a purposeful scam. Let's face it, even when a rebate deal goes precisely as you would hope, you were still essentially victimized (i.e., completely jerked around) by the company in the process.
And from a strictly practical perspective, it only takes a couple of these rebates not coming through in one's lifetime, to completely offset the supposed value in tangling with them in the first place. I've had a few $30 and $40 rebates fail. Anyway, just understand that it's their goal to deny hoards of legitimate rebate claims. They also rely on the countless other inherent hurdles involved in chasing rebates, to keep you from your goal of someday actually getting your money back. Rebates exist because sellers absolutely adore them, and certainly not because consumers do. Basically, you're becoming a temporary employee of whatever company it is, considering all the legwork and prolonged waiting involved. ...and in the end, you might never get the money you're owed for your efforts, ...which is an outcome I find to be something more than merely insulting.
I'd like to buy this battery, but won't bother due to the rebate. That's the reason I'm here commenting.

|altecneo||How long does the charge last on this type of device? I was thinking of throwing one in a glove box or bug out bag as an emergency phone charger. For that use I was strongly considering this|
