So can a similar deal be done at B&H? They have the 70d body for $999 and list the pixma rebate as well. It also includes a shoulder bag, 16GB card and extra battery. I don't need the software and the extra battery would be more useful to me than the 64GB card. Also I tend to trust B&H a bit more than BuyDig, not that I have had bad experiences with either though.

Get a Pentax K5iis or K3 instead. Canon APS-C cameras are just marketing marvels.
Pentax has some great manual focus lenses fast and sharp, selling dirt cheap.
