CVS Clearance Thread

Please no OT.

This will not cover the weekly deals. See the individual threads for each week.

Different types of clearance:

1. The kind with official CVS tags on the shelves. These are usually found in many stores.
2. The kind on an endcap or special table and often have green stickers on them. These are usually specific to that store. Sometimes the discontinued items will show up at other stores with these stickers, too.

Post your finds, with as much info as possible including where you found them (on the shelf or in another place in the store). If you know of any coupons to use on the clearance items, post those too.

Please no OT.

This will not cover the weekly deals. See the individual threads for each week.

Different types of clearance:
1. The kind with official CVS tags on the shelves. These are usually found in many stores. Here's great detail from CVS-er here: (Please rep, this is good info to have!)

CVS has 5 stages that their clearance products go through. Four of these stages are marked by 4 seperate tags, which are the yellow tags that say CLEARANCE on them. A store may hit all 5 stages, or skip ahead to any of the further stages at any time. This decision is usually up to the store manager. Also, sometimes the item may skip ahead stages (aka get marked down further) but the staff hasn't had a chance to put out the tag reflecting the latest stage yet. (This happens at my store a lot, because we are very busy & understaffed.) The 5 stages are:

STAGE 1 - yellow tag that simply reads "CLEARANCE" (item is still full price, the tag is just alerting you that the item is being discontinued. For you guys, its an alert to keep an eye on this item as it reaches the further markdown stages)
STAGE 2 - yellow tag that reads "CLEARANCE 25% OFF - YOU PAY $X.XX" (item is now 25% off original price)
STAGE 3 - yellow tag that reads "CLEARANCE 50% OFF - YOU PAY $X.XX" (item is now 50% off original price)
STAGE 4 - yellow tag that reads "CLEARANCE 75% OFF - YOU PAY $X.XX" (item is now 75% off original price
STAGE 5 - items removed from shelf and placed in the designated general clearance area (item is now 90% off original price)[/

If we keep this Wiki updated we'll all save even more money!

Mom2Thomas 09-10-2009 01:50 PM

My bandiad/neosporin combo packs were 1.75, used .50 bandaid on one and .50 nepsporin on two-no beeps. (But I wish they were .69!) The cashier said she had been so impressed when I came through the other day to get the spongebob ones that she got some too...lol. Saw the kitty litter for .69, called a friend who has cats. Wet ones scanned at .99

Haven't had a beep yet. But I was using them with Band Aid coupons, which I'm out of now.

What kitty litter is 69c? I must have missed it.

I wonder if the Size Ones are on clearance too, but the current $8.99 sale price is overriding?

I'm not the one you asked, but I can answer your question. They do not have yellow on them. They are called Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive 34 ct with the old greenish/white package. HTH

Got some 75% off windchimes and had to fight with the cashier because they only rang up 50%. Watch closely!

coocoocoo 07-13-2010 11:22 AM

Windchimes were 90% off at my store. Stumbled upon them by accident when I was checking out. Got one for $0.80. :)

I bought 10 bags of miracle grow for mym om last week at 75% off

I went in a few days later the signs were still up so I was gonna get the last 7 bags

the scanner was down and the lady scanned them for me ....they rang up full price.....I was like the sign says....shes like well we can't fix that they are full price now and she went and took the signs down

What is the policy on them honoring the signs? is there anything?

A phone call to the store manager should get this taken care of; if not, then a call to CVS Customer Service; if not that, then call and complain to the Consumer Protection office at the State's Attorney/Attorney General office. Store has to honor posted price by law.

Did you take a picture of it with your camera Phone with the time date?

I am not sure that is true in all states, but maybe it is where you are. Prices are wrong all the time at the stores here. If someone has found a 'price guarantee' law in Texas, please let me know.

I know recently I was talking to a store manager about the $2 expiration date 'guarantee', and she said she was SO glad we didn't have that rule here. :)

Not always. I worked in retail for 5 years, and here the law said that once the store was notified of the incorrect price, it had to be fixed immediately. If it was not changed, then the store had to honor it.

Bought CVS wipes 144ct for $1.32. They had unscented, scented, and sensitive types. Clearance endcap.

Escotch 07-14-2010 05:55 PM

Triple action Diaper rash cream 16oz was $3 today (bought 4 of them). It was like $7 something on the shelf but never got any, now in clearance endcap. Normally over $30! They kept the 8oz at $20.

Triple paste is the brand. It is a white tub with blue print on the label, usually very expensive.hth

rydergal 07-15-2010 01:28 PM

Crest Pro Health Enamel Shield 6 oz was 25% off at my store. It wasn't tagged, but I had grabbed it as a filler (had a free q) and discovered at the scanner that
A. I had grabbed the wrong size (I had wanted the 4 oz tube which was 3.89, since my q max was 3.99) and
B. this one was only 3.29 and I needed another filler since my filler was too cheap! :lmao:

Shelf price was 4.39; clearance price is 3.29.

Still a terrible toothpaste price, but if you need a filler for the right deal, it just might help. And keep an eye on it...you never know if it'll go down some more.

purex 3in1 sheets 20 ct was marked 1.99(1.00 coupon at purex.com), garden stuff was marked 75% off but rang up at full price cashier said they should be 90% off so he adjusted accordingly. bought 4 wind chimes, 3 bags of potting soil, 3 pairs of garden gloves kid and adult varities, and a 50ft hose.

idobiradio 07-16-2010 07:58 PM

cvs in sharon mass still has a lot of cranberry sauce for .42 and some more campbells healthy stuff soup. today i marked down some olay facial cleanser and make-up remover, as well as quite a bit of the cvs brand skineffects, the average price of the skineffects facial stuff is $5. i found a bunch of essence of beauty holiday lotions (buttercreme, gingerbread and some berry scent) which should be $2 and also some EOB shower gel. oh and some weird EOB shower poof things.

we take any expired cvs coupons too... :) it doesnt matter what the date it.
like if you have the $1 off 3 cvs brand candies, there are some cvs brand malt balls (yuck) and wax bottles.

thanks!

Picked up Frankie the Fish (gimmie back that filet-o-fish, gimmie that fish) for $1.99. DS has wanted it ever since he saw it. I helped the cashiers get them out of the store so they don't have to hear that annoying song anymore. Also got Venus Breeze 8ct cartridges for $5.80, 75% off.

The Venus could be applied towards the Olay rebate: http://www.olay.com/PublishingIma...ay.com.pdf The rebate just says Venus , so , I would think the cartridges would be included.

Spotted today at CVS at Congress and Oltorf, Austin Tx:

Huggies Blue Jean Diapers, Size 4 $5.99 (1/2 off?)
Acne Sport Wipes $2.74 (75% off, I think)

Note that this is a very small store, I really think these were on clearance just because there isn't enough space for them. I saw other boxes of the Acne Sport Wipes in a full display for $10.99, and these are both brand new products.

fiveTiMESaugust 07-17-2010 10:51 AM

I saw the olay total effects body wash on clearance for 2.49 at the Natick Mall location. And dove shampoo damage hair shampoo for 1.14 on the comm ave location in Boston. I find that a lot of stores have similar items on clearance however some stores just have random stuff like the things i just mentioned. Has anyone else seen these items on clearance?

I saw tons of candy on clearance for 75% but I didn't look closely. These were all the no-returns or exchanges kind where they mark the UPC and put on the end caps. I bought -

Huggies Goodnites Boxers L-XL $3.14 75% off (I thought these were cleared out a long time ago, but they still had some left since the Goodnites are now underwear)
Baby Orajel Day and Night Tooth reliever $1.87 75% off - $1 mfg cpn = $0.87

I saw saw Nuby 0-6 M pacifiers, snack cups (but did not say BPA free), more baby Orajel, Aquaphor Baby Shampoo $1.87?, J&J Baby Oil, and random meds that I didn't pay attention to. The ones I scanned the prices came up automatically at 75% off. I wonder if they are clearanced automatically at other stores?

I also saw a lot of H&B items (particularly face items) for 50% off... a lot of brands - Olay, Neutrogena, Garnier etc. They were more expensive items though - like originally $19.99, now $9.99 for example. These items were in the regular aisles.

junkxx 07-17-2010 06:32 PM

I saw some Tide Total Care and All & Mighty for $4 today. It's still a bit high for me, hoping they would go down some more.

couponfairy 07-17-2010 09:35 PM

Found a lonely Pampers Mega pack size 6 for $5. 34 count. It is not lonely anymore  Sits with the rest of DD's diapers at my house now. :lmao: Only had $1 mq, but pretty good for a mega pack.

I found 3 today (didn't purchase) marked @ 75%, scanned $7.50. These were in the summer section and they were marked.

All summer stuff was already at 75% clearance at one of my stores! The pickings were pretty slim. The one item I bought (a lunch cooler) rang up at 25% off, but the cashier adjusted the price.

At another store a few miles away, the summer stuff was still full price.

idobiradio 07-20-2010 07:24 AM

i wish we could mark down our summer merch, it's going to be 25% off till at least the first week n august (going by the sales flyer).. we could really use the space. we're a smaller store so space is always an issue.

im marking down more stuff today, according to one younger customer "our clearance endcap sucks" hahah so ive got some work to do... most likely continue getting rid of the skincare/lotions/that sort of thing.

sharon mass!

pepper540 07-22-2010 09:52 AM

One store (15th and Spruce, Philly) has almost an entire endcap display of lip products tagged on clearance for 75% off. The brands I remember are Blistex and Chapstick (there was another I did not recognize). Prices varied from 42 cents (Blistex Raspberry Lemonade Blast) to $1.49 I believe. There were 62 cent and 82 cent ones. These would make for fabulous fillers, since my subtotals before ECBs always tend to be $x.4x and it's annoying.

I checked another store a few minutes later (15th and Chestnut) and while the endcap was NOT tagged, the Blistex Raspberry Lemonade still scanned as 42 cents :bounce: So definitely check your stores! (Sorry if this was mentioned, but I don't remember reading it)

ETA: There are some Chapstick IPs here, but I don't remember if these were on clearance, so print them just in case:

$0.25 - Round the House 13 Watt CFL lights (60 Watt Bulbs) single packs
$1.00 - Round the House 24 Hour Timer [cvs.com]
$0.15 - Wrigley Cobalt 5
$0.09 - Nerd Soft Chews

DVD's 90% off
$3.49 Hannah Montana Duo 2d/3d pack including 4 3d glasses
$2.49 Multiple Disney Movies (Sleeping Beauty, 101 Dalmatians, Sword & the Stone), Harry Potter, Sex & the City
$2.29 Indiana Jones Movies (Raiders of the Lost Arc, Temple of Doom, Last Crusade)
$1.99 Iron Man

$0.75 Black Sheep, Wayne's World, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Indecent Proposal, Trading Places, Beverly Hills Cops 1 & 2, Aubrey Hepburn Story

After yesterday my ECB amounts are the lowest they have been since the first month I started doing CVS. Had to burn them up though as my favorite manager that allowed expired everything to be used was fired and no one around here will allow anything even a day expired. Blah.

Those quick dry boxes are HUGE. Look for them to go to 90%, depending on mgr motivation to free up space. They're quite handy for drying small, non-dryerable items.

Won't go 90% off here - I got the last 4 boxes (actually, I called this morning to have them hold the 4th one - surprised it was still there).

When I walked in the store the cashier pointed them out to me. Despite having a huge $4.99 sign in front of them, I walked right past them. She said a customer went to buy one and handed over a $20 EB. The cashier then saw they were $4.99 and told her she might not want to use that EB on the item. That was earlier in the day, so they grabbed all the boxes (at least 10) and stuck them in front of the store.

adriansmommie 07-22-2010 01:22 PM

Drying rack is still 50 percent off here in southern Indiana.

After yesterday my ECB amounts are the lowest they have been since the first month I started doing CVS. Had to burn them up though as my favorite manager that allowed expired everything to be used was fired and no one around here will allow anything even a day expired. Blah.

Quoting myself here as I went to two other CVS stores this afternoon and did not find any of the movies I mentioned on clearance or any movies on clearance at all. The store where I bought all the clearance stuff at last night is in the inner-city of Milwaukee. They have a lot of "value" movies that are normally 2/$15 or 2/$12 along with the new releases for $19.99-$24.99. All movies are kept behind the counter at that location and no one buys them ever. The shift supervisor and cashier were talking and I heard something about putting the DVD's in a lock case with the other electronics. Remembering about 6-8 weeks ago that I bought movies like the Bucket List, We Are Marshall, and Speed Racer at 90% off when they were put in there. I asked if they had some more clearance movies and they had a tote filled with movies that I looked through. Was about 60-70 of them. Bought 45 or so total.

The 24-hour timer was full price of $9.99 at both other stores I checked out compared to the $1 I paid. Also, saw the HD Vision Glasses (as seen on TV product) for $9.99 at both stores, forgot to mention I saw those at $1 last night as well (however the store I saw them at had regular price $4.99 stickers). One store also had the CFL lightbulbs located in the clearance section, but when I scanned them they came up $1.99.

After looking at everything, I think what happened at the store I was at last night, that is undergoing heavy changes in employees, is that the clearance that has been marked at 50% for the last few weeks was marked down 75-90% off the 50% price, not the original price. Another item I found was Spider Man wall sticker things, regular $9.99 price on them, got one of them $1.25 and at other store today that was 50% off only for $5 (so 75% off $5 makes sense to what was done).

I also found the rotisserie thing at 50% off so it was $14.99 and Guitar Hero at $24.99 at the stores today and bought an Aveeno Body Wash for $1.75 (blue highlighting on the bottle - forget which line).

HTH's

Saw a lot of random medicines like this at the stores as well. The Vick Nyquil capsules I know were down to $1.37 for a 10-pack. The Emergen-C stuff that was FAECB in the spring was also 75%, there was some other CVS brand allergy medicine, I saw Neutrogena Men's Body Wash 50% off, that stupid talking fish 90%, Wisp big packs were 75% as well, the tooth brushes that were 2/$5 last week and were 25% off at the time (overriden by sale price) were at 50% off now.

Don't forget about the Christophe Shampoo/Conditioner that is in the white bottle that was mentioned by someone a few weeks ago for being 75% off, still finding those unmarked at some of the stores I normally don't go to and with the $2 tear pads or $2 Beauty Book q's its' free.

a former colleague of mine had the McD version stuck in his head. when he was tired, he would repeat the macdonalds fish ditty down to the intonation over and over again, mindlessly. then he realized that if he did that when i was tired, it would get stuck in my head and torture me all night and all day long.

Tonight I found several models of vaporizers on clearance at my CVS in Albuquerque. Originally around $40-$45, I picked up two of them at $10.49 and $11.49, a cold mist and warm mist one. I'll try to remember to post UPCs later, they are still in my car and it's raining :) Scan any of them, though, because the manager pulled a different one out of the back for me than the one on the shelf (empty spot, so I asked him to see if there were more) and it was also on clearance for 75% off.

Great to have around if you have kids or get sick/stuffed up often or live in a dry climate (for me, it's all three).

I so wanted to get one of these at 75% off but I was nervous that they would be all gone before 75% off hit, so I went in for 1 at 50% off. Glad I did, local store with 50% off sold all 8 on table in less than 2 days.

iseethedead 07-26-2010 10:03 AM

Saw a foot spa/bath for ~$5 (75% off 19.99) and a game system that looks similar to the wii and says that it has 40 built in games at 75%, no price and the scanners weren't working.

Keep an Eye out1

Yesterday at my CVS in western MA I noticed that 3 entire sections of products were 40% off. Apparently this store is discontinuing all shoe products, all sewing notions and all cleaning tools like mops and dusters. There were many items included. Perhaps this is happening at other stores too. It will be interesting to see if they are marked down further or sent off to another store.

My CVS did this roughly one month ago...now they're totally cleaned out and you'd never know those sections existed!

pinkybubbles 07-27-2010 09:53 PM

I really don't like the CVS clearance that has to be manually adjusted at the register. It seems like they make up the discount percentage to whatever they feel like. It's just harder to tell if it's 50% off or 75% off. Gripe over.

There was a big bin of 75% off final sale items at the store I visited but I did not have enough good cpns so I didn't buy anything- I saw Olay Definity items and Garnier Fructis line of random Ultra Pro items as well. I think someone mentioned them already. They also had some kind of energy saving light bulb as well. One man took basically all of them (had to be at least 20).

In terms of baby stuff - I saw a lot of Playtex nipples and Playsckool nipples. They were on the 75% off shelf but the manager said only 50%. I passed. I did get the Playtex 4 oz drop-ins sleeves for 50% off - not a great deal but I needed them - 2.90 each and I used up my ECBs.

be happy it scans and a coupon can be used with it. Alot of my stores are putting price stickers over the upc and just put in that price. Item didn't scan, coupon won't scan. A few stores are telling me they will not take coupons for the clearance item that does not scan. Some stores still will, but I see more and more stores putting the price sticker over the upc and all coupons used on those have to be manually entered. And a few just will not do it. I've spoken to the managers about it, they say it's the CVS policy, they will not be reimbursed.

If iseethedead is accessing SD through a mobile phone, s/he can't see momfia's avatar or location. I dunno if that is the case or not...just throwing it out as a possibility.

The mobile site shows this.

But just to clear things up. You can load *any* link on a mobile browser. I personally prefer m.slickdeals.net when I'm on my phone. It's a trade off to have a better ui on a smaller screen. But we're getting way OT, especially when we don't even know if iseethedead was using the mobile site. :D

Today I found CVS brand blow dryers (travel and reg) on clearance for $3.50. They also had Instant Heat CVS Brand curling irons for $2.75--5/8", 3/4" and 1".

Lastly, I found Hanes women's socks for $3.00 and $1.75 a bag for 6 "footie/no show and ankle" socks.

Is there a rhyme or reason/pattern to how long CVS clearance lasts before it can go back up to full price?
I probably won't have time to check any of my local cvs's for exercise equipement until tomorrow, but am worried if I wait til tomorrow, I'll miss out and it will go back up. TIA!

Too late. Based on two stores I visited, it seems to have gone back up to full price today. I'm pretty annoyed. There were about five stores near me that had the Perfect Pull-up and/or the Wii Guitar Hero, and they never went below 50% off (I had checked again on Saturday). If I had known that they would go back to full price, I would have gotten them at 50% off. This is the first time this sort of clearance never made it to 75% off in my area. And so many people had been reporting 75% or 90% off. Oh well.

Don't totally lose heart yet.

IF the clearance price is 'managed' by the manager of the store, and not a corporate markdown, the manager has to key the clearance price into the system 'fresh' each Sunday. Anything they key into the system one week is cleared out at midnight on Saturday night.

That's why in alot of stores where they put clearance on a cart, the cart disappears Saturday night and doesn't reappear until they get time to add the items to the system.

Thanks so much for this information -- I'll keep checking. I was at the two stores pretty early today (9:30 AM), so hopefully the managers hadn't yet done what you're saying.

Another point on this, I was reminded of after posting earlier today...

...when there is a 'deal' that involves the clearance item, it can change the price of an item back to the 'regular' price. Case in point - Pantene that is on clearance was ringing up at regular price due to the ecb deal. The manager had to remove the Pantene from the clearance cart.

2 buggies full of different kinds of nabisco cookies, some peppridge farm cookies, and cvs brand cookies, also some wheat thins and reduced fat cheezits and a couple of boxes of CVS brand Crackers and baked cheese crackers and the small boxes of premium crackers. Regular size boxes of Oreos, Golden Oreos, Fig Newtons, Chips Ahoy (chewy and chunky) were all only $1, small boxes and CVS brand crackers were $.50. Not sure about CVS brand cookies cuz I only wanted the Name Brand Cookies. But they all expire in September .

CVS in Woburn, MA had tons of meds on clearance for 75% off, too. I stocked up on Dayquil and Nyquil (cold & flu + vitamin c; sinus)...the Nyquil I got expires 11/10, but Dayquil doesn't expire til late 2011. Prices were just over a dollar for each package. Tons of children's meds on clearance too, including Dimetapp, Robitussin, etc. Other things we spotted were cough drops, as well as the humidifiers like you saw.

MistyQ 08-11-2010 06:37 AM

I was at CVS last night when one of the cashiers was putting up 75% off tags on the following:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Crest 5.8 oz. Mutlicare Whitening (Fresh Mint) Stand up tube .94 cents
Colgate 6.4 oz. Tartar Protect Whitening (Crisp Mint Paste) .72 cents
Colgate 6.4 oz. Maxfresh w/ Mouthwash Beads (Mint Burst) .82 cents
Listerine 1 Liter Total Care (Cinnamint) $1.49 (Some were bonus packs w/ free Reach Flosser)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

These items were all on the shelves in their regular places in the mouth care isle.

hyacinthgirl 08-11-2010 08:21 AM

In New Mexico:

I found L'Oreal Excellence to Go 90% off last night... normally $9.99 and rang up as $0.99 with card. Shade was 5RB, a reddish brown. $2/1 coupons went thru beeplessly for overage as well. I found an empty space on the clearance endcap for them and thought I'd check their regular shelf spot. I found 8 boxes there, tagged at normal price but all rang up 90% off :woot:

Also found a shade of cooler blonde for 75% off ($2.49, normally $9.99) but I can't recall the number of it now :(

"Neat Feet" foot care 75% off, select items. Picked up some rotating files for $2.49ea that will go in Christmas baskets and I also saw some pumice stones and manual files for cheap.

Crayola Color Surge 75% off, $2.99 normally $11.99.

Women's 1 a Day powdered drink mix 90% off. Can't remember the price & didn't pick any up, but I remember noticing it was 90%.

LOTS of dental care stuff on clearance ranging from barely on sale to 75% off. Didn't catch all prices but here's some of what I saw.

Orange Listerine, $1.24
Several other flavors of Listerine
Many mouthwashes... Scope, Crest ProHealth, Oasis, CVS brand
Assorted Colgate Toothpaste $0.74 - $1.62
Assorted Crest Toothpaste
Crest Spinbrush
Spinbrush replacement heads
CVS brand toothbrushes
CVS brand toothpaste

Still many meds 50-75% off. A lot of allergy stuff, mostly CVS brand cold meds left now.

Slimquick 50% off, different flavors.

Some BOOST supplemental shakes clearanced as well.

HTH & sorry for any repeats!

I saw Up & Up training pants in the clearance rack at one of my CVS's... I didn't know they carried the Target brand randomly. I know they aren't regularly selling them but maybe one of those salvage things or something.

Probably a return without receipt and the cashier didn't know that CVS doesn't sell the brand?

Pantene 75% off

One of the stores in Nor Cal today finally had the old package Pantene at 75% off w/ plenty of the $1 CVS peelies available - makes them nearly free and definitely free when stacked w/ the $1 off 2 for 8/1 P & G inserts. Overage w/ the $1 off one styler coupon from the same insert.
This store still had a full endcap left so I'm sure it will vary by store.

I saw them at my CVS today for 90% off - less than $1 each! :omg: I forgot I had that CRT so didn't grab them as they only had size 1. Maybe I will run out to grab them.

grammy 08-22-2010 05:04 PM

It may have been the light purple, but I'm not too sure. They were the thin diapers, not the Supreme.

idobiradio 08-24-2010 06:40 AM

cvs in sharon ma has some stationary items left, as well as some other random health & beauty items and cough & cold items. we have more stationary downstairs, just haven't gotten a chance to mark it down yet (planogram week this week, ah!) and be on the lookout for a bunch of different hand lotions too.

thanks =)

CVS brand bodywash 50% clearance at $1.64

CVS brand 2-pk bar soap (right next to Dove) 50% clearance at $1.49

Use current $1/2 CRT from store printer to get 2 for around $2.

klimber 08-26-2010 12:50 PM

Great filler using Listerine Pocket packs

If you need a filler and you have the $1 off Listerine Pocket pocket pack CRT. At more than one store I have seen these at 50%. I got one for $1.10 (.10 after crt) and bought 2 today that were marked at 75% off to $0.62 each (so 24 cents for 2 after crt). YMMV.

SGVmom 08-26-2010 03:06 PM

2 - Huggies 60ct size 3 diapers for $1.75 ($3 MQ)
4 - Aussie Shampoo and Conditioner for $.43 (BOGO)
1 - 100 piece hair accessory for $.50
1 - Scotch Pull Up Tape for $.50 ($1 MQ)
2 - Nyquil Cold and Flu $1.49 ($1.50 MQ)

Checked other stores around my area and no deals there. I never find clearance and this was the best.

If that's the Shimmer Strips mascara duo, there's a MIR, but you have to have a TMF sticker too.

Fondybadger 08-30-2010 02:27 AM

75% off Vaseline Sheer Infusion Body Lotion for $1.99 -- Unfortunately I cannot find any coupons to match up for it.

At my CVS it was 33% off. I was surprised since I wasn't sure if they EVER got rid of "summer" stuff in Florida. Fans, coolers, that type of thing. The flip-flops weren't marked, and I didn't think of scanning them. Still wearing my pair from last year.

At my store the premium flavored M&Ms (all flavors?) are also 75% off, around $1. Green & Black's milk chocolate with almonds (I believe) was also 75% off in that section, and they are awesome. It's the darkest milk chocolate I've ever had. These have been on clearance for a while though, may be gone from most stores.

Noticed that the laundry/cleaning aisle has a few items 25% off.

Finally, all the Topsy Turvy products were 75% off at my store. I saw the upside-down tomato planter, the tomato tree kit, and the strawberry planter. Decent gifts, especially this time of year in Florida.

dreamsaverz 08-30-2010 02:48 PM

Vlasic bread and butter pickles 16oz jar on clearance half off, was 2.99, rang up $1.49 used those hangtags for $1.00 off two jars to get them for .99 a jar.

Revlon creme lip gloss and Revlon Suplst both 75% off, $1 off coupons found at cosmetics area good for $1 off any Revlon cosmetic product. So they were $1.49 and .99 after the $1 cpn.

Campfire marshmallows were clearance priced at .37 a pkg (10 oz)

Tootsie pop drop candy 2.25 oz pkg, .22 a pkg.:)

tchrust 08-30-2010 03:54 PM

esutrack 09-01-2010 07:48 AM

iseethedead 09-01-2010 07:50 AM

Has anyone in central pa found summer stuff 50% off or more?

ssouthern 09-01-2010 08:02 AM

I found a small igloo cooler marked 75% off in my store making it $4.99. Also, found a nice fold out chair with wooden handles marked 75% off making it $7 something. I really needed the items for our camper so I didn't mind paying OOP for the items.

pepper540 09-01-2010 01:21 PM

The hand sanitizer pen for kids was on clearance at two different stores for 49 cents (found in either travel section or a lone hanging display near the cold meds).

One store recently clearanced a bunch of Bayer, Excedrin and CVS brand medicines. They were all $1.xx each. If you got the $2/$5.99 Bayer CRT, it would be a slight MM with $1 MFQs for five Bayers :) Expiration late 2011 and early 2012.

Did you scan the items? The items at my store w/the 30% off sign were actually ringing up @ 50% off.

datchick 09-01-2010 04:17 PM

Tons of makeup on clearance at my cvs. They had everything: loreal, revlon, sally hansen, Maybelline, Physicians formula....eyeliners, lipsticks, face powders/foundations, nail polish, etc. time to hunt down some Q's.

This week at my store, the summer went to 50% off and the Topsy Turvy to 90% off (yes!). Also, the summer clearance does include the flip-flops.

jbee! 09-01-2010 05:42 PM

At my stores in NC, they were putting up signs this evening. 75% off Summer, included fans, flip flops, citronella and bug killer items. Got a shade canopy for $12.49, Cooler with Wheels $8.75, Table and 4 chairs $32.49. Huge packages of Hefty styrofoam plates were $2.49.
