I don't know much about survielance systems but looking to pick one up in the next couple of months. Can one of you guys that knows a thing or two chip in for some feedback?

As far as I know, the price on this system very good for an 8-Channel DVR and 4 camera security kit!

It includes a 500GB hard drive, which makes it a very good deal for the price as these are typically more costly. Also, according to the specifications of this kit, this system can support for remote access from mobile phones after the network is set-up. This means it is a fairly up-to-date system even though it is very competitively priced.

The only concern I have for this product is that the Zmodo website shows that IR Irradiation distance is up to 30', which is different from the description here.

Overall though, Zmodo is a solid brand that has quality products that are priced well for the quality you receive. I have purchased several products from them and have been very happy so far. If you are unsure as to what system would best suit your needs, I would recommend contacting them directly and I am sure they could recommend a system that would best-suit your needs. Good luck!
