Char-Broil 4 Burner Gas Grill $152.99 @ Fry's Grocery B&M YMMV

I've been stalking SD for a few weeks trying to find a decently priced mid-quality grill and came across this one. Type your zip code in and view weekly ad- it's on Page 8.

http://services.frysfood.com/Stor...earch.aspx

This is the grill advertised in their weekly ad (Page 8) as $199.99. My Tempe, AZ store had it for $169.99 and they told me that "It's been that price forever, I don't know why the ad says $199!" So YMMV with other stores. I used the extra 10% off general items coupon from their ad (Valid until 5/31) and it brought the price down to $152.99. :)

The Model # is 463211711
Original Price @ Fry's is $219.99
48,000 BTU
4 Burner
1 Side Burner
665 Square Inch Cooking Surface
Stainless Steel Lid
Propane Tank not included

Fry's has grocery stores?!?!

Do they have unbelievable deals on 55" frozen pizzas too?

Looks very similar to the Aldi's Grill deal:

You're right, except the grill there is some other brand that I've never heard of but it does look the same. Is Aldi's affiliated with Fry's?

damn too bad that Aldi sale was first week of may. Just got finished getting our deck built and could have used the grill, umbrella and furniture set that was advertised for that week :(

I think it is still that price at ALDI, my friend's roomate just got one. The box is big, too big for most sedans. He hasn't put it together yet. PS Aldi does not have a listed phone number.

As to the other comment I don't know if Aldi is affiliated with Fry's grocers.

U should post that as a separate thread. I think it's the same as the Aldi one and maybe the Fry's one as well. Bad thing about Aldi's is that you can't use a credit card so the warranty has no CC extension.

Another thing is if you can get gas points/discounts by buying Walmart gift cards at your grocer that would sweeten the deal.

Anyone know whether you must pay for an item entirely with a credit card for the credit card extended warranty to be valid, or can you combine payment with gift cards?

"Fry's Electronics was founded by the heirs of Charles Fry after Fry's Food & Drug Stores was sold. Although they have similar looking logos and a shared family heritage, there is no affiliation between Fry's Electronics and Fry's Food and Drug."

Interesting. None in the Bay Area, apparently. That's too bad.. I was looking to buy a decent mid-price grill this weekend too and this was sounding very promising.
