If it was a unique code, it would most likely NOT be posted on SD :D

Fine print says that it won't work on promotional gift cards. Shouldn't giftcards be treated like cash?
I have a $25 card that I'd bought from amex daily wishlist for $15, that I'd like to use.

Anyone have any issues trying to use a GC with this coupon?

chupud 09-29-2011 01:26 PM

good find... on my way there for lunch

Their Guinness Stout Milkshake is delicious...

There is no issue using a gift card. You are correct, gift cards are treated just like cash, not a promo. I think the fine print was referring to purchasing a GC.

If you sign up for the Stripes (their loyalty program) you get two B1G1 coupons which may be a better deal depending on the size of your party.

qqq1 09-29-2011 01:38 PM

Thanks, I'll have to go there this weekend.

Correct the fine print means you can't use the 20% to buy a giftcard. You can Use a giftcard to pay the balance of your check when you use the 20% off coupon.

hitechgurl 09-29-2011 01:51 PM

Thank you.

rangerlg 09-29-2011 03:25 PM

The promo gift card is talking about the free gift cards that were given out. Not purchased gift cards. So if you got a free gift card from a promo before, then this coupon is void.

Maybe you should look at their menu. http://www.tgifridays.com/menus/menus.aspx

It may not be health food, but it's not all fried either. And if someone comes up with a way to fry salads, soups and pasta dishes .......... well, I gotta admit I'd be tempted.
