I've already got mine on preorder from Gamestop, but I called my local Best Buy today and was told by a store manager that they will have Hardened editions for sale tonight, without having to have preordered it. I may just wait up until midnight and grab a copy, then cancel my order w/ GS.

Ordered mine at like 4:40 pm. Confirmation at 5:02pm. I also have a pending charge from GameStop. Hopefully this gets shipped. Also for some reason I decided to upgrade the shipping. I wonder if that'll make a difference.

I would check with your local GameStops too, a lot of stores were shipped dozens of extra copies of Hardened, my store had a bunch of extra Hardeneds for 360, was able to buy mine today @8pm without pre-order...I'll be on tn after I pick it up if anyone wants to play

I am sure that BB/Gamestop will have extra copies for sale without pre-order.

I find it hard to believe that they will only have enough copies to fill pre-orders only. I would go out tonight, but im not that big of a geoff.

This is the regular price for a "hard to find" item. IMO I dont think you'll see deals on this for awhile if at all. Your best bet if looking for a SD, is to wait for BF, or Christmas and get the regular edition with a points deal or something...

Walmart had 50 Hardened versions for the XBox360....I picked one up. $99 + tax.

My Rinky dink Wally World didn't have any Hardened versions. So hopefully I'll get my hardened in time.

same here, still waiting as well. also for some reason i was on newegg searching for the hardened and it wouldnt come up. then it came up and i was able to order one from there with rush processing.they charged me immediatly but no ship confirm yet. if one of them ship ill cancel the other, or should i resell? hopefully one of them ships, i really just want it for myself. also i had preordered one from gohastings.com and they cancelled it, i called and the rep said too bad. i will never order from gohastings.com again.

im kind of amazed i got a ship confirmation from newegg, not gamestop. wanna punch myself for not doing overnight delivery. hopefully ill get one from gamestop and it will be here tomorrow, since i did overnight with them. the weird thing is i wa just browsing newegg, it popped up said out of stock. then the page refreshed and bam. just shows how good a company like newegg is. thats the one retailer that constantly for me exceeds expectations.

ugh right around the time i ordered from gamestop! if they cancel this,( they already charged me) i will boycott gamestop forever. i mean seriously if you wanna talk about a slickdeal they never have them. this is just a matter of shipping a hard to find product that they said they had in stock. any company to me that you pay full price for a product then they cancel your order should be held accountable just like if we bounced a check, you better believe that we are gonna pay.

mine shipped-- On another note-- Anyone want to chime in on when they plan on entering their elite code? As I understand it-- it is only good for 1 year-- Why wouldnt I wait until the 1st map is released to start this year? HE gets founder status anyways regardless of when elite is started so.....?

I placed my order on Monday night when i got home from work. I got order confirmation but ntohing as of yet. Cant check status since site is blocked at work. Cant believe they don't offer free shipping other then the cheap 5-10 day version. Figure i am spending a nice penny their got headset and the game

I ordered with the Free Shipping, as I was not in a rush to get the game. Received my shipping confirmation last night and should be here on Friday. As long as its the correct edition, Ill be a happy person. I was going to wait, but decided that this way I dont even have to contemplate if the map packs are "worth it" I can just get them as I please :)....I really dont care about founder status (unless that gets you something special) as its just a tag...


EDIT: Ok I see there are a few perks with Founder status, but for those with the hardened edition you will get Founder regardless (which is why they include a card for it), the deadline is for those that bought the regular edition....

Also, I figured I would give a little more info on my order. I ordered ~7PM EST on Monday, shipping notice received Yesterday ~530PM EST.

I think you have to active by the 11th or 13th for founder status. Not entirely sure, I'll check up on it more

Figure this, around this time next year the next MW will be out, so if there is any DLC it will be few and far between if I had to put money on it. The Elite may drag into the next game, but then again it may not. Might as well just activate it now ;)

I read the 12th for founder if you just buy the elite off live and base mw3-- if you bought hardened- you paid for founder status regardless of activation date--unless i misunderstood....

Hardened edition allows you to get founder status at anytime by registering online. the code is different than buying an elite code. It's only those who bought the code without the hardened edition that have to get it in by the 13th

That sucks. Even newegg pulled the ps3 preorder page off their site today. It was up yesterday. The xbox 360 one is also no longer listed.

Good news for those who have to wait to get the hardened edition. activision has pushed back to the end of the month to get founders status and you also get an extra month of elite since they are having connection problems.

The problem I have with gamestop is this exactly. Can't go to you stores because of the rudeness of your employees, and now no reason to shop online since you won't fulfill your order obligations. Offering me 20$ off the combination of the game and a 4000 points card is pretty sad when i can go to best buy or newegg or amazon and get a lot better of a deal with zero hassle. You lost a customer and if your company does't watch out, you might lose them all. More and more stores take trade ins now( most offer better prices) and they discount games and give extra incentive like gift cards as well. As a consumer your brand is almost worthless now that larger companies have followed suit and improved on your flaws. I agree I never use gamestop because they never match amazon preorder deals and everything you said, but I picked up he to try to resell, got it today free shipping but they charged me $3 more tax then it said on my initial receipt and when I checked out and confirmed payment. another reason to think gamestop sucks. Hopefully I will be able to sell for more than $108. Some on here thought it might go up in price after founder status closes but with the extension I'm not sure what to do. Just out of curiosity anybody know if gamestop local b&m will refund an online order?

It looks like it is back in stock at amazon now for $99.99 and free shipping if anyone still wants it. I thought they were pretty much sold out everywhere and not getting more but I guess not.. so much for the value going up..too bad I paid 108 from gamestop and still havent opened as I planned to try to sell it on ebay and make money.
