Great deal, ordered. So glad to see Newegg beating Amazon now...TERRIBLE customer experiences at Amazon...

If you order a TV from Amazon, pray to the almighty you never need to RMA it or that its DOA. Newegg's RMA is a breeze, even with TVs.

Newegg.com - LG 42" 1080p 120Hz 3D LED HDTV 42LW5300 w/ 3D Blu-Ray Bundle $680.00

42" LG 42LW5300 LED TV with LG 3D Blu-Ray player and 4 pairs of 3D glasses included

1080p 120hz LED 3D TV

2D to 3D conversion as well

Blu-Ray 3D player is BD645, not available separately
Player is worth about $75 on eBay if you're selling

This is over $100 lower than the 47" bundle was on black friday at walmart

also, upon checking, this is the best price online at this time

Artymonn 12-20-2011 08:49 PM

Still only wifi ready. No wifi installed...Give us a deal with wifi !!

Artymonn 12-20-2011 08:53 PM

On top of that Newegg is no way close to their old company Egghead. The new owners that changed the name also changed their ethics as time goes by. The longer it's Newegg, the faster it becomes a RotenEgg !!

bschmiess 12-28-2011 09:56 AM

deal is still live!

3D LG 42" 1080p 120Hz LED-LCD HDTV 42LW5300 Entertainment Bundle $680 w/free ship

Found this on the newegg clearance page, a lot cheaper than the price research tool showed.

LG 42" 1080p 120Hz LED-LCD HDTV 42LW5300 Entertainment Bundle $680

It's a LG Cinema 3D system that comes with a LG 3D Bluray player and 4 pairs of 3D glasses.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...dClearance

Savings range from $70-$320 according to slickdeals prt.
Last posting on this bundle was back in mid November in the mid $700 range.

Nice find. Adorama on Amazon is over 850

luis702 12-30-2011 04:07 PM

sorry to ask again, but how is this compared to the Panasonic VIERA TC-L42E3 42-Inch 1080p 60 Hz LED-LCD HDTV http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/...00_details

if anyone knows please let me know

Thank you. The additional items caught my eye, it's not even advertised as 3D until you actually go to the page and see the glasses/3D bluray player and even then you have to zoom in to make sure. Odd way to sell a pretty solid 3D bundle. Could be why it's not sold out and flying under the radar.

Have to laugh at the bad price thumbs down, lowest price I've seen for a LCD/LED 3D combo. (Barring Black Friday absurdity prices)

Well, the refresh rate is 120hz, so the LG is better for gaming and watching sports right out of the box. Contrast ratio looks to be the same from what I could find,....I think.

All depends on how much of a videophile you are. Also depends on if you want a 3D HDTV, included 3D Bluray player and 4 pairs of glasses to go with it.

Good price for yours, just doesn't do the 3D or higher refresh rate.

(Wish I could have got your contrast ratio on my $200 42" 60Hz LCD Samsung)

Couple of weeks back Amazon and Newegg were competing on the proce match of this same product. Also there was a thread about it on FW.
Another discussion from SD.

Take your pick. It's been under $700 numerous times this month.

Fadekyn 12-30-2011 04:33 PM

Ugh, just put in the 42LW500 and this deal came up. Chalk it up to still being a beginner. My original search of "42 inch LG 3D Bundle" brought up the 11/12/2011 posting at $727 and nothing else. Odd that the system didn't list me all the other posts and reposts. Sorry guys, just treat this as a bump of a good deal instead.

wow I din't even see all that wow guess I am not a true Sder yet but I am learning.

also why would the Viera be listed the same price as this one $849.00 list price

EasyGuy 12-30-2011 04:54 PM

Horrible TV return policy from newegg, will pass until Amazon have them in stock again.

You tell me. Could be because Panasonic feels like reliving the good ol' price fixing days? Just for reminiscing's sake?

I do enjoy how your TV gets 25% of the one star reviews and 66% of the two star reviews though. Yet struggles to leave a foot print on the 3 stars and up reviews.

I think Amazon's are a little different but thanks for your imput,
Also I plan to replace my 32inch lcd 720 Dynex with this Panny mostly because of the resolution conflict with my LED monitors
