The Costco deal did not have an expiry date on it.

CORRECTION: The Philips coupon is valid till Jan 31, 2012.

I would contact them in regards to your first rebate.

How did you get your rejection so quickly? Honestly, I am a little suspicious of this post.

It normaly takes Philips 8-10 weeks to respond to rebate submissions. My submission from November does not show up in their systems yet.

If my rebate is rejected, I would feel totally justified in returning the razor to Costco. They had this $30 rebate listed in their in-store ad and Costco should make good on it if Philips will not.

This rebate has been available since November 2011. I bought mine on 11/11/11. The post is legit, but Costco made a booboo.

That is absolutely correct. I've been in contact with costco for the past 4 weeks, in regards to this matter. Took a little bit of digging, but eventually found the right contacts. Apparently, when these types of things happen, the best thing to do is to contact the regional Costco offices and they will lead you to the right direction. I was finally in contact with harte-hanks over a week ago. It could have been sooner had I contact Costco regional office first.

Spock, did you end up returning or keeping the shaver? I have to apologize to you because I made a thread about this situation and even posted a link on several norelco threads. But for some reason, I forgot to post here. I hope you were able to keep your shaver.

I decided to keep the shaver for three reasons:

1. It is the best electric razor I have ever used. It is on par with the best Gillette Sensor products, but less expensive over a 2-year period.

2. Even without the $30 rebate this is the best price anywhere for the razor and the RQ12 replacement head.

3. Costco is helping resolve the situation so that I can get the rebate anyway.

Of course, if there is ever a problem with the razor itself, I can return it to Costco anytime because of their liberal return policies.
