Honestly I'm surprised this thread isn't getting a little more lovin. Great price on quality mouse.

haleyc 01-14-2012 05:04 AM

whats the difference between this one and the M515 posted earlier for $12 ? thanks

HeathAU25 01-14-2012 06:50 AM

This is not a couch mouse and is built for higher precision. Although the m515 is supposed to be pretty good. The m515 is designed to perform on any surface, work well with an htpc, and has a screen over the sensor to prevent fuzz accumulation. It also is not active unless your hand is physically on the mouse. The m515 does not have a clickable wheel. The m510 is bigger (I like that better for my hand) and has the side buttons for browser navigation or whatever you want.

Awesome... Got grandma the K750 for xmas and she needs a mouse to go with it. It's unifying to boot :) TU Rep +4

HeathAU25 01-14-2012 08:34 AM

Ha, always happy to help grandma!

ledoantri 01-14-2012 08:47 AM

Thumbs up for the great mouse. I paid $20 on sale for this mouse a year ago. Love it!

GeorgeMcFly 01-14-2012 09:09 AM

I choose this mouse over any other. It seems most of the other Logitechs are smaller. This one's the perfect size, imo. Battery lasts forever. I was able to sync this up using the unified receiver with my keyboard.

biscoskier 01-14-2012 09:43 AM

This is a great mouse. I bought it last January, and have only had to change the batteries ONCE! The mouse will turn itself off if not in use for a couple of minutes, but, as soon as you move it, it is back on. It is a nice, seemingly unnoticeable feature that greatly conserves battery power.

It has left/right click buttons, scroll wheel that can also be pushed left and right to scroll sideways, and front/back navigator buttons. Pick one up if you need a solid mouse.

Exactly. Very underrated mouse in my opinion. Way better than the other mice at this price. The size is bigger than most, which makes it much more comfortable.

joshuaNH 01-14-2012 10:20 AM

Thanks... just picked up on but one question....

I have a gaming wired mouse that I can change the mouse speed on the fly... does this mouse offer this option? (not a deal breaker... but nice to know)

azm 01-14-2012 10:24 AM

compared with the m515 for $12 deal this is not as slick of a price. regular price is $39.99 at bestbuy and m515 is $49.99.

The two mice are designed for different types of uses. I've used both. M510 is better for precision at the desk. Obviously m515 works better on a couch.

utesoccer 01-14-2012 11:27 AM

Does logitech ever put these as dented box?

Xenz 01-14-2012 11:40 AM

I have one of these for my laptop...LOVE IT!!! Took some getting used to though cuz the mouse I was originally using is so much smaller. It's a really great mouse with nice features. Think I will pick one up for my mom, she's not too crazy about her tiny mouse either.

Thanks OP, TU'd & Rep'd.

theslan 01-14-2012 11:58 AM

+rep. Looking for these, always found them around $25 from various sources.

kwando90 01-14-2012 02:55 PM

Great mouse... but mine has a problem waking my PC up from sleep. Battery life is awesome though.

rebelx 01-14-2012 03:08 PM

I literally just returned this mouse. It's nice, but the clicking is loud! I might be spoiled by sound-dampened Microsoft mice, but after years of almost silent clicking, there was no way I could use this mouse.

itsalladream 01-14-2012 03:14 PM

I want this mouse, but I also want the k350. I wonder if I should get this and wait for the k350 to go on sale, or wait for the mk550 bundle...decisions decisions...
I wonder if the mk550 will hit $40 and time soon, or if the k350 will hit $20.

kpopartist 01-14-2012 05:57 PM

To the OP's avatar... GG from SF.

alchi 01-14-2012 06:22 PM

I am using this mouse right now. It is comfortable to hold, tracks well and has good battery life; not quite two years, but still good. I just changed my batteries out after having it for about a year.

Thank you very much for being decent. I think I'll be sick for at least a week, but I gotta say, that was one of the most exciting finishes I have ever seen. SF played an amazing game.

... and at least we're not Denver right now.

Still in stock at FRYS. Better price too if you are willing to pick up in store.

avidwriter 01-14-2012 08:16 PM

It's showing 9 left in stock at Amazon right now.... I'm very tempted but I play PC games and I'm not sure if there will be any "lag" also since I don't move my mouse at all beyond the mouse pad, I'll pass. Still sounds awesome though.

I play games as well (FPS and things that require a quick mouse), and I experience no lag whatsoever.

loveleen 01-14-2012 09:22 PM

Still available only for store pickup at FRYS for $18.

Looks like amazon bumped the price to $30.84 and they only have "1 left"

You aren't helping :P I don't really need a new mouse but this one is 5 years old or so.

Haha DO IT! Unless you don't have a frys nearby. The amazon price is dead, and no more shipping available from frys. If you don't have that option, wait til the mouse goes on sale again. I got mine for ~$22 6 months ago through staples. It will go on sale again.

I now live in herpderp western mASS -_- But thank you :(

psychokids 01-14-2012 10:53 PM

i've used this mouse for the last year. bought one for my htpc and really liked it. no noticeable lag and it runs fine on a single AAA if you like a lighter mouse for gaming. i use one on my desktop now too most of the time.

i think they are pretty regularly ~20 from amazon; i've gotten them for that price twice now. just put an alert on the camel and they'll be back at this price again soon

akalen4u 01-15-2012 01:44 AM

I have this mouse, and I love it, battery is still high on charge. Avid gamer and notice no lag.

History always repeats itself. Second time in a year the Saints had to travel to the west coast and play in a cold drafty outdoor stadium and the second time they lost (last year to the Seahawks). Saw this one coming a mile away. They do NOT like playing on the west coast, totally different team.

Gr8FotoFixer 01-15-2012 02:42 PM

THX OP ...repp'd ...

Went to Stuples purchased the Logitech 510 .... Price Matched to FRY's ($17.99) then I used the mailer $10 off $10 went out the door with a (BIG GRIN ) for $7.73 +tax....

Wasn't supposed to get the $10 off $10 but the Mgr was VERY NICE GUY ........

Seems like a good mouse, with many features that I will use after I "Tune it up" tonight.

BargainBob 01-15-2012 03:09 PM

I'll just wait until staples has the stripped one for $2.50. lol

Reactic 01-16-2012 08:07 AM

I bought 8 Logitech m310 for the same price as this 1 mouse. This looks like a terrible deal for me, lol.
