GTFO with that nonsense!

Seeing as the Packers got knocked out early I was really hoping for a Ravens/49ers Super Bowl, because that garbage yesterday wasn't worth watching (well, the few minutes I did watch). The dancing from both teams after either had even a slightly good play was stupid, as is the fact that Eli is looked at as one of the best QBs now, even though it was his team that won it.

"They will" refers to people buying a product, "there" refers to location. So you are saying a location is buying a football? Go back to fifth grade and ask your teacher next time before trying to correct an adult.

slickgirl007 02-06-2012 07:26 PM

Love Eli Manning

"There" is also a pronoun when you have the verb before the subject, as when the subject "people" comes after the verb "will be". "They will be people who buy this" in this case is incorrect.

As pointed out by another you are wrong. Way to dig in and not admit failure. You'd make a great politician.

5th grade grammar and debate skills. Smooth.

Garbage? You'd rather see Alex Smith vs. Joe Flacco?

You clearly don't know anything about football if you don't think Eli was top 5 qb's this year. Look at his stats.

Just gonna go ahead and beat a dead horse because I can't stand grammar Nazis that don't actually know grammar...

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/there

When used as a pronoun, "there" would be appropriate to start your sentence. Words can have more than one definition, hon. :lmao:

The only truth here is that Eli Manning has 2 Superbowl rings and 2 Superbowl MVP's. All the rest are just smoke and mirrors my friend.

Quoted for laughs. Stick around so I can mock you next year like I mocked everyone who said they would go 2-14 when Tebow took over. Then it was 3-13, 4-12, 5-11, 6-10...

Lucking into it by beating Green Bay away followed by the 49ers away followed by the Patriots? If the Pats won, they would have beaten Denver at home, followed by the Ravens at home. The Pats didn't beat a single team with a winning record during the regular season. Plus the Giants had one of the hardest, if not THE hardest, regular season schedules of any team this year. Please, explain to me how the Giants "lucked into it again"

Edit: They knocked off 3 out of the 4 best teams according to the power rankings [go.com], back to back as the away team and as an underdog each week. The Patriots beat 1 team in the top 15 the entire year? And that was Baltimore, who should have won.

The thing that surprises me more is all the time people spend making comments on poor spelling and grammar. I've always figured that many of the people making the worst mistakes were foreigners or illegal aliens.

A name given by someone that doesn't like to name their children the same boring names as everyone else. Kind of like the name Bob. My name isn't very unique either, but I'm not the one making fun of people for their names.

My name isn't really Bob. But I understand. I actually hate the names bob, joe, and michael. These retarded names aren't cool either though. There are plenty of good regular names that are underused. Eli isn't one of them.
