What is a Staples Rewards Check? Can I cash it at a bank?
Staples Rewards Check is a fancy name for essentially a coupon. It can only be redeemed at Staples. It has no cash value so it cannot be put in your bank.

Do I have to use the entire Rewards check at one time?
Online, you must use the entire Rewards check. In-store, you will get a one-time use balance coupon that you can use on a future purchase. The balance coupon will expire at the same time that the original rewards would have expired. The balance coupon must be used in its entirety on a future purchase.

Do I pay sales tax when using a Rewards check?
Rewards checks are a discount on the purchase price. So, you do not pay sales tax on the amount of the Rewards used. If an item was $10 and you use an $8 Rewards check you would only pay sales tax on $2.

You said Rewards Checks are a coupon, how are people using this and another coupon? Isn’t that double stacking?
No, on Staples coupons, they even tell the cashier the process for scanning, scan the coupon then scan any rewards coupons. Rewards are an earned from doing something. So really think of them as cash that can only be used at Stapes, much like Extra Care Bucks for those familiar with CVS.

How do you get your Rewards Check?
As of March 1, 2011, you can only receive your rewards check by computer unless you opt back in to receive them via snail mail. See your Rewards check email for this option.

When do you get your rewards?
I suggest just setting up your email properly with them because they send out great email alerts. But with that being said, usually somewhere around the 15th of the month.

Can I use a % off and a $ off coupon at Staples then?
YMMV, some can get managers to do this, most can’t. Usually they only accept one Staples coupon.

Where do people get coupons?
In the mail, in their emails, or from sellers like those on eBay or other sites. Kindly email someone in this thread that seems to know what they are talking about and they will tell you other places.

People are talking about ‘fake’ coupons, what are they talking about?
There are coupon sites out there that you pay a small fee for Staples coupons and they generate a coupon for you. Everyone has their own opinion on these coupons. Use at your own risk and as your mind allows you. THESE FORUMS SHOULD NOT TURN INTO A DEBATE ABOUT STAPLES COUPONS.

Does Staples accept manufacture coupons?
Officially from Staples HQ, YMMV. They say it is managers discretion. Nearly everyone I have talked to and in my experience, yes they do.

Can I use a coupon on free after rewards purchases?
Yes, BUT you get the proportional cost back in rewards. I.e. You have $50 in Free After Rewards and use a $10 coupon, you will only receive $40 in Rewards.

Do gift cards also affect my rewards pay out?
No, you will get 100% of your rewards due because gift cards are essentially cash.

Can I use my rewards checks on free after rewards purchases?
Yes, but it is the same as coupons. If you ask a pro-Stapler though, you are a fool if you use your rewards check on something that is free after rewards.

Does using a coupon on a SER (Staples Easy Rebates i.e. 95% of the rebates from Staples) purchase affect my rebate?
No, you will get 100% of your rebate no matter what coupon you used. If it says the rebate is $4.99, you will still get $4.99 back in a rebate even if you used a coupon. So for example, buy a $20 item with a $20 rebate and use a $5 coupon. You will pay $15 but you will still get a $20 rebate.

Does using my rewards check affect my SER rebate?
No, you will still get 100% of your rebate, like the above situation.

Do gift cards also affect my SER rebate pay out?
No, you will get 100% of your rewards due because gift cards are essentially cash.

How does Staples do their ink rewards
Ink comes to you as a Staples Rewards Check. You get $2 per a cartridge. 10 cartridges can be recycled by regular members per a month and 20 can be recycled by a premier member per a month. No minimum purchases necessary before you can get your reward.

How do you become a premier member?
You become a premier member by spending $1,000 (less coupons and rewards checks) at Staples in a calendar year.

$1,000!?!?! That's insane!
Not really, items with rebates count towards your $1,000. So say you buy a $20 item that has a $20 rebate, you will have $20 towards your premier status. However, use a $5 coupon on that $20 purchase, you will get your $20 rebate but only $15 will be counted towards your premier status.

How do I know how close I am to premier?
StaplesRewardsCenter.com has been updated and now has a nice tracker when you log into your account.

What are the benefits for premier?
20 ink cartridges a month, free shipping on everything at Staples.com, 5 months expiration date of rewards, and certain special premier only events.

When do you receive SERs (Staples Easy Rebate)?
Typically, 30 days after you submitted it.

OP, you failed to factor the stamp into the rebate.
Before you sit there and go through all the cost of transaction, learn a bit about Staples. SERs are EASY. You simply go online with your receipt and submit it. You can mail it if you want (and they give you a hell of a lot of paper to mail it) but that's insane!

If I buy multiple copies of a sku(product) with a rebate in a single transaction do I have to submit the rebate multiple times?
No, you only need to submit the rebate once. The rebate system knows from the transaction the quantity you purchased.

I'm just going to break down my large rewards checks into amounts at least less than the price of QuickBooks (because I know they'll be in plentiful stock) and balance coupons can't be stolen.

How long is the expiration date on that balance rewards coupon (I am assuming you are buying a copy from the C&P center)?

Original expiration date on the rewards, or if you are within a (week i think?) extended 30 days.

I have a reward that is about $160, so I'm going to shop around for about $100 of merchandise and return it. So, balance coupon and refund coupon for next week...

I have this somewhat big Rewards check that I am at a loss how to use with minimal hassle. If only the QB were limit 5 or 10... Don't know why Staples did not break down the checks into smaller amounts this month.

They have never done mine. I am waiting for that 20% coupon to show up in the Staples App. Then all the rewards will be redeemed

I could just lower it down to about $110-120 because I can take a chance that my store will have ALL the FAR items available.... but that's a chance.

Good reference material, thanks. Planning a pretty big purchase, so not as concerned with the size of current rewards.

I got some decent $ off coupons in the Coupon wallet on SR site. Planning to use those. Have not done the check-in coupons yet.

Yes, that is a possibility, although my preference would be software.

You should try the Staples app

yeah, i'm hoping for a good staples app coupon too... do you guys think it's better to check-in every day or to hold out until sunday? does it even matter?

billcsho 02-16-2012 09:02 AM

More FAR items than enough to cash out all my rewards and Staple gift cards. I am hoping to receive a coupon from OM or OD before Sunday.

FREEALTA 02-16-2012 09:06 AM

I have $106 in rewards, $22 from batteries and $84 from the 25% bonus coupon on TM software purchase. They broke it into one $50 reward and one $56 reward checks. I hope I can get hold of the QB software, then with a couple of photo paper and Kleenex, I would be all cashed out.

well I check everyday.

I have got

10 off 75 and 10 off 60 (on HP ink) till now. Started using the app only this week

It really doesn't matter. The mobile app coupons expire in 24 hours. So check in starting Saturday late as the coupons are good for 24 hours and then keep checking in the rest of the week. Of course I use a location spoofer so I don't need to be near the stores daily.

dgal31 02-16-2012 09:08 AM

Some of you might think this is a dumb question, but is it better to get one of these anti virus software bundles instead of using my avg that I got for free online?

tenderidol 02-16-2012 09:23 AM

FAR stuff is always good. Thanks OP.

For this boxed version, yes -- seems like an iffy proposition with the DL version.

Depends on what you need. For somebody with a lot of rewards to cash out there is a Kindle Fire with a $25 Staples gift card. Not as good as the Walmart deal but Walmart doesn't take Staples Rewards.

I can see a few bundle possibilities using the boxed version of QB and a $25 or $30 off coupon. Brother laser printer for $50 bundled with QB that is FAR. Some of the phones bundled with the QB and coupon. Some of the GPS devices bundled with QB and a coupon. The Keurig with a $20 gift card and a $20 break room in-store coupon making it $60 net.

I would have to say "it depends". What are the features that you look for in an AV/IS software? How easy is the software to use? These are some questions that you will have to answer for yourself.

FWIW, many people are not necessarily buying the software to use it, but rather to meet a level of spending or to cash out rewards or even to make money.

zephear 02-16-2012 09:46 AM

Decent, but nothing too spectacular. Thanks Op!

chadvicki 02-16-2012 09:53 AM

I know this asked a lot probably, but could someone explain how they cash out?

Maybe give a scenario from the start?

Thanks for the help,

Chad

I'm going to rack up on Kleenex. :)

I never heard of Staedtler Ballpoint Pens, is this a good brand?

1217topher 02-16-2012 09:59 AM

itty bitty money maker

Kleenex coupon in the SmartSource 2/12 inserts.
Kleenex Product $0.50 off (3) 50-ct.+ Boxes or (1) Bundle Pack

The two-pack is a bundle, so you could buy two of the 2-packs and use two of the $0.50 coupons. Submit for the rebate and have a $1 moneymaker on the purchase.

And yes you can use coupons when buying something that is free after rebate and get the full rebate amount. And yes, you can combine coupons with staples rewards and also still get the full rebate.

Thank you for replying! AVG has been running smoothly for me. I use that with Malwarebytes. Yeah, I don't know my computer needs. I'm not that techno savvy. I would like a software that can block all ads and commercials, but I don't think that exists. What would you do?

Read the wiki. I just updated it with the newbie questions. Was waiting to do that.

Thank you for the wiki FAQ. Still have some dumb questions, what happens if I pay a $30 item with a $50 rewards check? Can I use the remaining balance in next transaction? And can I use rewards to pay tax?

Thank you!

You will have a balance coupon of $20 which can be used next time. However, next time you have to use it fully. So you have to atleast buy an item of $20 +

I've never jumped on these FAR deals from Staples. Any predictions on whether items like the paper will still be available come Monday or do they normally sell out on day 1?

Also - any ideas on which phone it will be? Looks like there are currently two Panasonics that are $80 now: a 3 pack [staples.com] and a 2 pack [staples.com].

Just added your questions to the wiki.

Do I have to use the entire Rewards check at one time?
Online, you must use the entire Rewards check. In-store you will get a one-time use balance coupon that you can use on a future purchase.

It is so tiring... Staples and Slickdeals make me go to Staples stores almost every day :).

nyrm22 02-16-2012 10:44 AM

Just curious. Back in early Jan I bought some Avery binders for about $20 when they were 100% rewards. I got my rewards back this month, and I only got them for boxes and totes but not the binders (all the same transaction). I'll probably just return the binders, but did anyone else NOT receive rewards for purchasing the Avery binders back in January?

TIA

Are those far items on front page in store only? How come I don't see such indication in the ad?

We probably won't know for sure until Sunday morning if they are IN-STORE only or not. The SER site doesn't update until early Sunday morning EST.

I hate to give a generic answer, but it really depends on the store and its location. From my experience, higher income areas will be more likely to have the FAR items. This is because richer people care less about grabbing FAR items. This is totally just my personal theory from my experiences.

Also some stores (like mine) don't advertise the FAR items very well. Sometimes they don't even mention it on the aisles next to the products, so the only way to really find them is to walk around the store with the ad in hand and match the SKUs.

Just my two cents...

If you use single page view, you will see up in the upper right corner of the last box the words "In store only. While supplies last". So, in-store only for the FAR items.

cw_b 02-16-2012 10:55 AM

It says "In store only. While supplies last" in the ad preview.

Rewards coupon is like cash.

Question is someone would be so kind to answer:

Can I buy the quickbooks online (79.99 before rebate) and the Uniden phone which is on sale for 24.99, use a $25 off $100 coupon and basically get the phone for free AR?

THanks!

OP - you should add the Samsung WEP490 to your list.

24.90 - 9 instant coupon - 11 SER - 4.90 valid 19-26.

page 10 of store ad for next week.

Brother Fax 575

$59.99 - $50 Easy Rebate = $9.99

Must be atleast 5 per household like last time

I've been using my free QuickBooks Simple Start 2009 for a while now and looking to upgrade. This online version sounds great, but what happens after your subscription expires in a year? Is it an online-only software, or can you still use it as a Windows software after your online subscription expires?

Also, are these deals only for new users? If there's another deal like this next year, can I just "renew" my online subscription, or do I have to be a new user and have to recreate/import my QuickBooks data?

There are some OD $10 off $50 and OD $15 off $75 coupons floating around. Not good on technology but definitely can make the FAR items on the front page a MM as they are all office supplies. YMMV on getting your Staples to accept an internet printed competitor coupon.

This is funny because i just threw out my old fax-575 because the ribbon was f*#*$. Be aware when u need to change the ribbon it costs $20. It might make sense to buy 2 of them, $9.99 is cheaper than $20 for a ribbon.

I'm kind of new to the Staples scene. Today I received a letter in the mail from Staples saying that I have been upgraded to Staples Rewards Plus for spending $500, with a new card inside.

Can someone please explain to me how this could have happened since I haven't spent anywhere near $500 at staples. I did buy a new laptop there in December of 2010.

Thanks

Everything should be different. Different name, address, etc. Do not use the same cc for both accounts. They can link via that as well. Even the cc should probably be under different addresses. Never use the same shipping address for both accounts.

That one is YMMV. Some people have reported merge of accounts due to only the cc being the same. Others seems to slip by.

Official Staples policy is 2 days past expiration or as long as the register does not beep when applied. Yes, it is discretionary as part of customer good will.

There is supposed to be a grace period for expired coupons, but as you stated, it is YMMW. You can always ask for manager to override.

Anybody else receive the $30 off the purchase of $200 coupon in the Staples App under "Coupon Wallet"? Will I have any problem using that coupon with these free or close to free after easy rebates?

Just look at the restrictions in the terms on the coupon. Not restricted you should be good.

Ya, I wasn't sure if there is any restriction with these coupons. All it states is to show the coupon to the cashier. So i guess no restriction at all? Which seem kind of weird because I thought it always has some sort restrictions like for computers or tablets.

Looks like a good time to purchase some Staples GC at Safeway, racking in stackable 10 cents off/gal fuel discounts for every $25 worth since they are giving 4x fuel points and buy up the FAR items.

Even better is using Amex Blue Preferred and getting 6% for "groceries" with those gift cards.

Not me. I am still buying downloads to the limit for a cc spend. :) My $133 in rewards got spent in 5 minutes Monday night. $700 in downloads by the end of the week.

2 boxes per SKU. 2 skus equals 2 rebates as limit is 2. 4 boxes.

is there a reason you don't buy all downloads at once? it'd be only 1 check to deposit... seems easier, no?

Definitely in the store since it is in the weekly ad. Online we will know when rebates go online Sunday @ 1 AM EST.

Internet printed coupons are always YMMV but if they take them, using them on FAR items is usualy not an issue. Be sure the terms do not exclude software.

I think its more YMMV than that. I have read reports here of stores that generally accept competitor coupons but won't accept them on FAR items.

That report was from me. One store (actually, one cashier and one particular manager) stopped taking competitor coupons on FAR software, to the point that she made a trip all the way to the software isle to see what the final cost of the software was before applying the coupon. Luckily, I know when they are not around, and other cashiers and managers still take OM and OD coupons happily on FAR software.

EDIT: Forgot to add that the same cashier also asks for an ID when recycling cartridges. She is the real deal!

I don't use QB Online Simple Start, but during BF, OD had it for FAR and I bought a copy with my rewards. One of the requirements of the rebate was a Customer ID, so I had to create an account after entering the activation and product codes from the CD. As far as I can tell, everything seemed exclusively online. There is no desktop component to do anything. You can export your data from the online application, but that was it.

As for the price... The initial year for "subscription" is free. For the following year, the amount was $139. After receiving my rebate, I canceled the subscription since I don't use it.

Hope this helps.

The rebate offers for next week will not be posted until early Sunday morning Eastern Standard Time. You ca always check current rebate offers at http://www.stapleseasyrebates.com. Look for "Rebate Offers" on the page.

FAR is either Free After Rebates, as in this case, or at times Free After Rewards.

You will want to know what the difference is: with the FARebates, you would submit the rebate information in the link I posted above. The FARewards is a promotion in which you will receive the Rewards amount back the following month: Duracell batteries are usually offered as 100% back in rewards. If you bought 1 pack at $12.99, the following month you would receive a Rewards coupon with at least $12.99.

I went to local staples to scope out the FAR stuff that is starting on Sunday. They had only a few copies of Quickbooks simple start.

Im thinking about buying the FAR on Sat. and doing a return and repurchase on Sun/Mon.

Shouldn't be a problem right (with the rebates)?

There are just too many SD members in my area. Anytime a deal gets posted, its usually OOS pretty quickly. Staples usually has a big line in front anytime they have sales.

Shouldn't be. Just make sure the return is one transaction and the rebuy is done via a separate transaction. I have done buy aheads before when stock is low. You can call 1800staples and find out the real inventory level for specific stores.

I have the Saturn 95. If gets the job done but in no way does it look as nice as Kinkos. If you want professional, you still need to go professional. It might be the quality of my laminiating sheets, I have no idea. I am using 3mil sheets. Someone else who uses 5mil might be able to say if that works better.

My complaint is that the machine makes 'waves' in the laminate so it isn't perfectly flat.

What works for me to get different coupons from different stores on Android is to go into the Concierge -> Settings and turn off "Forget Me". It says "Your device identity has been expunged from the server. You will not receive location and account based alerts now. To resume, please change the Forget option to ON".

Then, I quit the application, change the location to a different store, launch the application, turn ON the forget option, check in and I'm presented with a different coupon. I haven't had enough data to determine if some coupons are store-specific or not, but it seems to cycle through a predetermined list.

Hope this helps.

You are a Staples coupon god.:worship: I did not know that setting existed. I just did the above and checked into 2 nearby Staples stores. I got the same coupons for both stores but 2 unique 16 digit codes for $10 off $75. One of the cool things is I did not have to wait until later today for the coupon to expire from yesterday.

ETA: checked into a 3rd store and got the same coupon but another unique 16 digit coupon. Are you getting different types of coupons for each checkin?

That makes it seem like they only give out the same coupons on a given day or a given time. Will need to experiment more. Right now I guess I will make a trip to the store tomorrow and use the $10 off $75 with the QB boxed version and some Staples gift cards that I get 6% back on from "grocery" purchases. Ka ching.

Glad that you are getting multiple coupons or same coupons with a unique code.

So far, I haven't utilized any of these coupons (except about a week ago when I was in the store). How do you "keep" the coupons after you get a new one? I have been taking screenshots using my SII and plan on just showing the picture when I check out, but I was wondering if there was any other way. Thanks

I haven't gotten that far lol! I know there is a 24 hour clock, so when I get one I am going to use I turn off location spoofing so the store will check me in. As long as you can recheck in at the store within 24 hours your coupon is still good and the same coupon as you are on the same device. Problem is yesterday I was in the store and used a coupon luckily and then I took my other iOS device to see if I could get another coupon and their server wasn't responding. One other person in the store was trying to get their Kindle checked in and wasn't working for them either. So, I need a way to take a snap shot on iOS.

Does anyone know the details about the "24 hour" validity of these coupons? I wonder what determines the 24 hour time frame. Locally by the device that they were generated on (i.e., they expire exactly 24 hours after they were generated based on the time stamp of the coupon) or centrally by the server when specific coupons are produced for a particular day (i.e., $10 off $75 coupon is valid for 2/18 regardless of when the user generates his/her own unique coupon on the device)?

Before I used your trick, I had to wait to check-in again 24 hours after the coupon was initially generated. It would not expire for 24 hours. The clock started when the coupon got generated. So, if you do it at 6 PM one day it will not expire until 6 PM the following day.

Thanks. Now, I can keep track of which coupons are still valid based on the details of each snapshot (e.g., date taken, time taken, etc).

Now we just need to figure out if these are store specific. I don't think so based on the fact that mine would stay in my check-in coupons for 24 hours. For an iOS device I just need wifi in order for the app to fetch the coupon be it at home or in the store. These are device specific coupons as that setting option of yes/no seems to indicate.

I'm stoked as I got $465 of rebate checks in the mail today. Now where is that troll who last week posted the rebates were in jeopardy?

I hate to give a generic answer, but it really depends on the store and its location. From my experience, higher income areas will be more likely to have the FAR items. This is because richer people care less about grabbing FAR items. This is totally just my personal theory from my experiences.

Also some stores (like mine) don't advertise the FAR items very well. Sometimes they don't even mention it on the aisles next to the products, so the only way to really find them is to walk around the store with the ad in hand and match the SKUs.

Just my two cents...

I would have to disagree. I think richer people are way smarter so they work out the deals. I have a few staples around my area, but the staples in the higher income area aka where rich people lives are always out of stock of the items posted on SD or FP deals. The cashiers even tell me they have a lot of coupon users in the area. That store are always aware of every Staples coupon released. It's on the way to work so I shop there frequently so I know most of the employees by name. Whereas, the Staples closer to my house is in the middle class area, and literally always have FAR items in stock even mid week. The manager even told me they aren't busy on the weekend as oppose to weekday.
Usually whenever I present a staples coupon to scan to get FARewards like USB drive, skull promotion..they would be like hmm you're the first 1 to use it today. Lol that particular store has more traffic than the rich area store, but has plenty of FAR stock compared to the wealthy area Staples. The staples stores around the middle class area always have sufficient stock or at least low stock. I know where to go for FAR after a few speculations. 3 years ago, I used to think like u. I always believed rich people don't mind for free stuff, bc they have money. I think I'm wrong. I think it's the other way around. Lower class people aren't smart enough like rich folks to chase after deals nor care for free stuff that's
why they're broke to begin with. Lol we all have our own opinion, but just giving my 2
cents. What's people input on this?

nevrknow 02-18-2012 02:59 PM

I don't know anyone with money that pays full retail for anything.

BrandNameChic 02-18-2012 03:02 PM

I only go to the rich people Staples when I need their office supplies that are non FP related. Of course then, stock is always sufficient. Also, I go in there to recycle inks and talk to my cashier friends. Doing FAR or MM deals is out of the picture unless I go in on Sunday morning. Lol

Maybe tenderidol can help out more, IDK, as I have a rooted android running a custom rom on mine that I installed myself, this morning I checked in had the 40% off bag, laptop, back pack coupon then did stuff. Read your guys posts, followd tenderidol's directions to the T, ended up with the 10/75 coupon and now that's all I get. However it's the same coded one, not different.

Any suggestions? I'm using fakegps off of android market and have to turn off my phone's GPS settings to get it to work. I've gone into my phone's settings, manage apps and cleared and forced stop the staples app and it still won't work. I have to use advanced task killer to shut down the staples app as well. Can't get any different coded coupons.

I have 2 uncles with wealth that are on the opposite scale with each other. The ridiculously wealthy uncle doesn't spend much money oeverything. He thinks twice on everyday big purchases. He has properties for rent, yet he doesn't like paying for family dinner. The way he dresses you'll never guess he's a millionaire. Very middle class attitude. While his younger bro, has a mortgage, always wearing high end stuff, always taking people out and treating them, big spender, etc. He is not a millionaire, probably in debt with the way he spends. Always acting high class by giving random people money & buying them things. 2 months ago, his cellphone came back 450 with only 2 lines on the contract. I asked him if he called Verizon about it, and he said "not that much money. No need to waste your energy on minor stuff."
Seriously? Wow.

I can't really compare my 2 uncles and say everyone is like that, but pretty much my friends are similar too. The ones with money are so cheap and always seek for deals while the no income ones are always treating others or laughing at me when I say "hey, that place sells it for less."

I'm not running any gps spoof on my iphone, but actually checking into a local staples 1 mile away from where I live and I tried what Tenderidol and Mathfaster suggested but I keep getting a $10 off $75 coupon, but they are different codes, everytime. I tried turning off the "forget me" under settings/concierge, then uninstalling the app and then re-install, but I just get the same coupon, but different code though. I can't try different stores to see if the code is unique to that store.

I tried my friend's android phone to check into the same store and he got 50% off mailing/shipping supplies, but on the second try he got a $10 off $75 too, and that is all he is getting since.

On the top off my head I can remember these:
1) $10 off $75
2) 50% off pins
3) 50% off mailing/shipping supplies
4) 20% off $40 software
5) 40% (?) off mouse of $30 or more
6) 50% off backpack/laptop sleeves
7) $10 off $60 staples ink
8) 50% (?) off paper $10 or more
9) $50 off $299 desktop/laptop purchase
10) 20% off technical software services at staples (that is a new one I got today)
11) 50% off breakroom supplies
12) 50% (?) off pens/pencils

As you can see that is a HUGE list to randomize from. There might be more that I am missing.

Any iOS device will work. Unless you jail break it you can only get coupons with the mobile app in the store.

Could you suggest some good (free?) location spoofer apps for andriod? I went to 3 stores today and the official staples app checked me into all 3 stores but gave me only one coupon: the first one! (I didn't get two more coupons even after it checked me in)

page 10 of store ad for next week.

I bought two of these this evening: hope they do a return rebuy tomorrow with the rebate too. The earhook looks very flimsy so they package extra one in free.

hey mathfaster just want to clarify.

I installed the staples app on my android phone at 5PM today (Feb 18). I got a $10 off $75 coupon the first time (:woot: ).

The coupon says "In-Store only! One day only!"

Does this mean that the coupon expires today (Feb 18) or will it be good for tomorrow (Feb 19)? From your post above, it looks like it will expire tomorrow Feb 19 but just want to make sure.

(I can pick up the FAR stuff tomorrow and make some MM along the way using this $10 off coupon )

I can only speak to iOS results but for me the coupon has a 24 hour clock. So, I am going to use my $10 off $75 I got today 2/18, tomorrow 2/19 as well.

Midnight PST the site should update the prices and reference the rebate. I have an iOS device so know nothing about Android spoofers. See Tenderidol's posts. He uses a spoofer on Android.

You don't pay sales tax in CA on downloads. Hope you have some relatively small rewards checks as you have to use then in one shot online.

I'm using Location Spoofer; it works great.

I checked in to the staples app by spoofing my location then selected forget me and when I checking again it says I have no checking coupons available. Before I did forget me it was showing me a 10 off 75 coupon. Anyway to get the checking coupon back ?

I don't think so. Forget me clears out the device data at the server level. You have to play around a bit when you get that no checking coupons available message. Make sure Forget Me is ON. Close and reopen the mobile app, check in again.

iridium 02-18-2012 07:04 PM

Forget me is off now and it still won't show me any check in coupon. I hope it fixes by morning, can use the 10 off 75 with the far stuff.

Forget me needs to be ON to check in. OFF opts you out of coupons and clears your data.

If forget me is off, you will not get any coupon when you check in. So you need to turn it on.

iPod Touch or iPad work as well. You can use a Kindle Fire or Android tablet as well AFAIK.

luffy211 02-18-2012 07:13 PM

Hm..I was thinking is this a good way of "preserving" a couple that you like? Pretend that you got a good one that you like from the constant turning "forget me" off, then on again. Will that same coupon expire in another 24 hours? If so you can "save" a couple indefinitely until you want to use it?

iridium 02-18-2012 07:13 PM

Sorry I mean it's ON. Deleted and reinstalled the app still no checking qps.

When you get a good one stop. Forget me set to OFF clears the device data from the server. They expire 24 hours from the time you generate the new coupon.
