I heard this game was awesome...must be terrible given the amount of TU and comments. This is the lowest price I've seen this game for by $5 I think. I was waiting for it to hit this point but I'm gonna pass, it can't be any good...

Thanks to the metacritic link...usually when newer, good games go on sale for this cheap there is a lot more slickdeals commentary. Which is what has me nervous about this game

The reason for lack of commentary could be because of the Enhanced Edition that was announced a little while ago. From what I hear Witcher 2 is a GREAT game but just like the first, the developer is releasing an Enhanced Edition in a couple of months I believe. So if you dont have to have it now, maybe waiting for the EE is a better idea

So excited for this coming to 360. It supposedly is going to be like running on medium settings on PC. Not sure how they squeeze that out of 6 year old hardware but I am all for it.

Game is great. Story, dialog and graphics are top notch. Not an open world RPG by any means but it does make you put thought into how you will level your character as this is not an easy game by today's standards.

Although the game is fine as is, the witcher nexus has plenty of easy to apply mods that help with inventory management and interface issues. Just buy!

This game is WAY under rated. It surpasses most games out at the time of release. Even though it was overshadowed by Skyrim's release this year, this game is still one of the best CRPG's released ever. I would say the graphics is on par with BF3's graphics engine, on a RPG game.

For $15, I had to pick this up. That's definitely the best price I've seen so far. Just in case anyone is wondering about Steam, it definitely will no activate through them, I tried. I though maybe since they sell it on Steam it would work, just so I could have it in my library, but no dice.

Fun game with gorgeous graphics. Even with 2x 5850's in crossfire @ 1080p I had to scale back settings to high. Will defintely test your GPU.

Seems to be a great deal. Now I have a question about Amazon Digital Download games.

Say a deal like this comes for FIFA 12 which uses EA's ORIGIN. Do you get a serial that you add to Origin just like if you bought it from Origin?

Basically, my friend has FIFA 12 for PC in a CD. I want to use that CD to install the game and put in a serial bought from Amazon so I don't have to download the game.

Is there an issue doing this?

Best game I've seen from 2011. Wayyyy shorter than Skyrim (20 hours versus 100+ hours), but more enjoyable IMO. Maybe it was the T&A.

played it when it first came out.. not bad, I think the first game was better though..

I loved the original Witcher, even though the combat mechanics took a while to get the hang of. I'm definitely willing to shell out $15 for Witcher 2, particularly given the great reviews. Most probably already know of this, but these games do have some nudity, so might not be great for a younger child. For a teen or older gamer though, it just adds to the fun. Note to those in relationships: Be sure to explain to the wife/girlfriend ahead of time that this isn't some sort of wierd graphic porn game, just some mature content.

The first one had sex cards, this one there is actual motion/cut scene to it.. but it's pretty brief.

in the 1st one you could screw just about anything that moved, in the 2nd one there is far fewer opportunity.

I paid $45 for this game, its definitely worth $15.

No. You can start fresh or transfer your saved game from the first one, but even if you transferred there is a bit of a discontinuity between games which levels things out. Everything you need to know about the story the game shows.

One of the funnest games i've played all year. I highly recommend it.

The publishers of this game, CD Projekt, are actually big advocates against DRM. Ironically, they lose millions to piracy. Google to find out more. Worth supporting.

This game got good reviews and the first one was fun and the developers support is great however the download for this game is huge. 16 gigs so be prepared to wait if you have slow download speed. Good deal.

I am attempting to install the game from my digital download but I keep getting a "CRC Error". It says one of the .dzip files doesn't match the file in the setup's .cab file. Anyone else getting this issue? All the issues on Google point toward optical drive issues, but this is a digital download....

Any help would be appreciated!

Dude, I'd rate witcher & witcher 2 much much higher than Skyrim. (Unpopular opinion yes) but skyrim involved a lot of rehashing old formulas(coming from someone who put 50 hrs into skyrim, so I'm not hating just for the sake of it)

Thank goodness, last game's DRM made my windows not boot. After a lot of frustration I found out it was causing my login screen to hang and I had to turn off password at login just to get into windows and uninstall. SOOOO weak.
