Since the models that don't play gamecube games came out in the last 6months or so and this is USED I can almost guarantee it plays gamecube games.

Most people don't buy a console and get rid of it in less than 6 months. If it was a return then this would be a refurb item, not a used item.

I'm not giving it a TD, but it's not really that great of a price. Cowboom's had hundreds of these available for months now at $69 + free shipping. This is only $5 less and you don't get to pick the exact one you want. They have had a lot of them that are listed in better condition, or with more remotes or accessories for that extra $5. I just bought one last week for $72 total that came with 3 remotes and the Wii Sports game.

Never used the sensor bar stand and could care less about wii sports, so feel I did ok.

So this console doesn't come with Wii Sports? It's not mentioned in teh "Not Included" list and I'm a newb to the Wii.

Got in on this earlier this morning, seemed like a great price, was lucky enough to get a '7' after a bit of page refreshing.

Now gotta find good deals on controllers.

A Wii motion plus controler alone costs like $40. Even the new Wii's come with super mario bros game or mario kart. Games that you can't touch for under $40 still. So the console might be cheap but nintendo gets you with all the other things.

After refreshing this for hour its just getting annoying now. All I get is 5s which would be fine but there missing to much stuff always.

good deal at this price for the party games (mario kart, warioware, etc)


for the single player heavy hitters (zelda, xenoblade, last story, etc)... i would recommend using dolphin emulator instead... i have a wii but it sits in the closet ever since i tried out dolphin since everything looks 100x better

Just got mine in the mail, I think I may never cowboom again. The system smells like it was in an ashtray and it was obvious whoever owned it before was extremely heavy smokers; and that the system was just tossed straight into the box and shipped without being cleaned. I dont mind cleaning, but not sure i'll ever be able to wipe off that smell. Its still on my hands even though I've washed them multiple times since handling it.

Just soak them in bleach overnight. It would COWW.. BOOOM :woot::woot:

I just got 2 of these in condition 7 from Cowboom for $65 shipped each. You can hand pick which one you get. So, the deal is still live just not a DOTD.

I am sure that Best Buy has optimized these by removing everything from the box except for the console and some broken flaps.

Wipe down all the exterior plastic surfaces wild a very small amount of 1:5 vinegar/water solution. Towel dry it, and double wrap the console in two pairs of pantyhose, then completely cover it with cat litter. The clay will absorb a good deal of the odor, even from plastic.

Turn the litter over every day or so for a few days. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with the results. Best of luck to you.

Actually, you pick the item and it says specifically what it includes and what it doesn't. You can also return for a full refund if something is not right. That is why I ordered two of them...I will keep the best and return or Craigslist the other.

Got mine. While it was a '7', it was a tad deceiving. My console was very white, fairly untouched. Dusty inside, so it saw a fair amount of use, but a quick vacuum cleaned it right up. The remotes were DISGUSTING. The WHITE controllers were almost literally BROWN/yellow. I didn't even know what to do with it.

This is why I always buy multiples from Cowboom. Out of the 5 things or so I've bought before I'd say 4 were keepers.
