I have been watching this TV and this seems to be the lowest price so far. I searched and the forums and it seems $1699 is the best before this.

This is the lowest in Amazon

I have been watching this model too. PC Richards still has the GT model $1,696.97 plus $49 shipping.

I am so tempted, but I think they will drop more. Amazon has slowly been dropping their 2011 Viera prices.

I am in the same boat....been watching both.

And thanks to all who post the latest prices.

I held off on the PC Richard's sale because of the "no return" policy. If there is a brightness issue I want to be sure I can return it. I am torn between the two, but if I can get the GT for just a few hundred more I will spring for it. Hoping to see it under 1500...would be since to see them both drop big time to make room for the 2012's,,,,

The question is how low? and how long until 2011 GT/ST inventory is sold out?

I think I'm going with the Adorama deal. $1649, free shipping + Mr. Rebates 3% = $1601.

Very good. $150 bucks so far and counting. It's usually only 2 to 3% on most sites, but coupled with Discover Card, better than getting $0.
