I decided to get this based on the reviews on the product page.

I've never used it, and I don't have a need for another SDHC card so I'll pass on this. I'd guess that this would probably be a lower rung card. In spite of the awful reviews on other types of lower run SDHC cards (such as Patriot LX) which I've used, it might work just fine for you since Patriot cards have worked OK for me SO FAR. The only card I've had a problem with yet is a Wintec card which had better reviews than Patriot.

That said, I'd pick a better rated card over a Patriot or Super Talent or A-Data if the price difference is just a few dollars. It would also depend how badly I need the card (which I don't right now).

Would this be fast enough to write raw 1080p HD video on a camcorder? I have a Sony HDR cx-190.

Got it

I41 as well. Impossible not to. Willing to gamble on 32 gigs. If the thing does not work in my dSLR well, it will be used to boost windows

I've been using one of these for several months now w/o problems. Despite the weird Japanese-game-show name, Super Talent is a Silicon Valley company with actual technology [supertalent.com], not just a made-up brand stamped on a generic.

Yep, it's a repost. Sorry about that. I did a search and never found Selma's post, but oh well. :O
