1) Even though the CPU is Dual Core A9, it seems to be manufactured using 65nm process => more battery usage and less performance compared to most Dual Core A9s out there.
2) Mali-400 GPU comes in single, dualcore and quadcore variants. I'm guessing that this is single core so it is weaker than Galaxy S1 GPU (PowerVR SGX 540).
3) 3200mAH battery is pretty low, will not last for long.

Price is pretty good, but I'd still go for the playbook deal on the front page.

http://android-sale.com/ramos-w17...ablet.html they are selling it for 139.99, havent calculated tax yet however... specs sound good but after watching some youtube videos it does not look as responsive, or maybe their camera sucked lol

i think its a great start
but ASAIK and see the touch is not the same at brand names (like Lenovo even my HP TP seem to have a more responsive touch) and thats from McBubs own video [youtube.com]

and still no BT or GPS in any of these Chinapads is disappointing

while not a Dual core the Lenovo A1 has BT GPS and cost about $20 more is tough to beat

BTW its cheaper here [ramos-sale.com] EVEN AFTER SHIPPING its le$$

so like i said its a good start but to me its still a Chinapad

THANKS FOR POSTING I THINK THIS IS A BIG DEAL FOR MANY (Dual Core Chinapad)

Yeah,i know, but BT GPS is not necessary for me, i have the budget, but anyway, thanks for your suggestion.

and for the site you post, i won't try that, because in slatedroid review, ppl said it is SCAM,steal money, i already placed orders with mcbub before, so i will stick on mcbub.com,but now i am still thinking which tablet i should get.:)

timtlm 05-10-2012 06:32 AM

The Ainol Elf II that is coming out is pretty much the same specs, and can be pre-ordered for $150 at the link below. I much prefer how the Ainol looks over this one. Nice flat piece of glass on the front instead of the raised bezel, and overall just better looking.

That's likely just the price for the 8gb. Supposed to be released this month. Spemall is a good site, especially for ainol because they have a close relationship with them. You can find them on facebook and twitter responding to their customers.

I totally understand. Personally, I'm waiting for the rumored Google/Asus nexus tablet. It will likely be very similar to this Samsung tablet:
http://slickdeals.net/f/4361640-8...-Shipping?

It is rumored to come out in July for $200, and the specs will easily beat these Chinese tablets.

So, tell me about McBub customer service. I know, silly question; I'm sure at this price the QC is great, and who's ever had a problem with an electronic anyways? But let's say you have a problem with the tablet and need warranty service. What happens when you call/email/chat? Think they offer to help? And if they do, who pays for return shipping to China? And how much does that cost?

I already ordered 3 tablets from this site, and so far, so good, about the return policy, they have make it clearly in the site:
http://www.mcbub.com/help/New_Use...r_warranty

when i decide to buy oversea, i will check their tax and return policy first, lol, i think many people are like this, they read the policy before buying and they place orders, but when we met problems, we begin to think the policy is sucks, :D so do i.

Oh, you bought this "oversea" from the seller? Interesting that you're so familiar with the site.

Ive ordered a few from McBub in the past.. pretty fast shipping.. and packing is pretty good... there is a very small % of people who got DOA tablets and I think McBub will replace the DOA tablet if you email them RIGHT AWAY.. you have to ship it back at your cost... and they generally will take that off the top and deduct it from your total... but its not set in stone... this is just what I remember from a few people who HAD to ship back.... we are talking about thousands of SD orders and a handful had problems... so its like any other electronics...some are DOA... so its always a risk when ordering from china or overseas...but I ordered about 7-8 tablets and all went fine.... there really is no warranty or help per say... you have to use the android forums for that if you have problems... but most people have done and fixed any problem you will run into... and maybe you wont have any problems...
