Where do I get the $/$$ off or %-off CVS coupons in many scenarios?

If you sign up your card on cvs.com, they may be emailed to you directly by CVS.
You can buy them on eBay
They are sometimes shared here (although "card-specific" shared coupons will beep "Not for Card" and are therefore YMMV)
Sometimes generous SDers share 13-digit (unique) coupons acquired from some of these sources (usually on a first-come, first-serve basis for regular posters)
They are sometimes mailed directly to you by CVS
Every once in awhile, they can be found in the newspaper (print/online)

There was also a $1.00/1 Speed Stick in the 5/20 SS excludes 2.0oz, 1.4oz, and 0.5oz expires 6/10. I don't see it listed in the coupon database so it is probably regional.

anybody else got the same error?

Dang! Was hoping for another week of gas card deals. CVS gives us one week and then keeps us in suspense as to whether or not they'll reappear. What a tease!

There's $1 off Speed Stick exp 12/31 in the $15 attached coupon pack from the Colgate Total Advance toothpaste 5.8oz.

tinakay_83 05-29-2012 12:31 PM

Added a few coupon matchups.

shopnut 05-29-2012 12:48 PM

Getting into the wiki with some more newspaper Qs...please hold on...

...and done.

Thanks Tinakay for the match-ups! You picked up on the L'Oreal hair Qs that I didn't. I did a little expansion on the newspaper Qs to also include the inserts that are going to be coming out thx to Shuriken's (and Jasper's) preview. At this point, I think that the only newspaper Q we are missing are the SS Qs that are coming out.

Thanks to Rydergal & 1dollarorless for the preview, and thx to Valliebaby over at the unexpired newspaper Q thread too. :)

Click the CVS rectangle next to the thread and it will sort to just all the CVS threads and you will see it. Search never works.

I was curious why search was being a PITA on this one. The problem is the thread title is: "CVS 5/27-6/02" with no spaces between the dash between the dates. So you can't search on just CVS 5/27 and find it. But search on CVS 5/27-6/02, it finds it. I didn't know it was that persnickety.

Take a look at the 2nd post I quoted. That wasn't in question, but why the search didn't work for that text string.

- (2 are made FREE from CVS)
(3)-FREE Hershey's Air Delight Aerated Milk Chocolate Bar, WYB any Hershey's Chocolate Bar - 05/20 SS
Total: $1.19 for all 6

This sale was going on 5/20-5/26. I did this same transaction then and it worked flawlessly.
The coupon does state upto $1.09 but mine auto deducted the full price of $1.19 so.....

Updated Wiki with Coupon and fixed sizes

It will work on any Hershey Chocolate bars, you don't need to get the Air delights. My store was out of them and the cashier said just to get whatever I wanted. She scanned it and it still worked flawlessly. Great for me because I don't care for the air bars and would rather have the almond bars.

stylingal 05-30-2012 01:14 PM

If you can make it out Sunday 6/3, these will work nicely tho last day to use is 6/3. * This is my 1st CVS matchup :woot: , but am unsure (didn't) add it to Wiki since it's only valid for 1 day of the sale. If it should still be in the Wiki, pls post or let me know.

The coupon is not inside the toothpaste box ... It is in a box (says "$15 in coupon savings" on top of it) attached outside the toothpaste box .. they were available in walgreens 2 months back .. I havent seen them recently (some have found even now -- in walgreens thread)

I found the image http://www.consumerqueen.com/wp-c...92x300.png

$5 ECB wyb $15 one these Dove, Caress or Lever products: (Limit 1)
- 2/$7 Dove Hair Care 5-12 oz., Select Dove, Degree or Dove men+Care Antiperspirant/Deodorant

Was going to do this deal because I was sent a $4/20 coupon by email. Buy 6 for 21. Minus the 4/20 and 6 .75/1 coupons from todays RP and its $7.50 after ECB. Not the best deal for shampoo, but this is one item the loved ones are brand loyal to.

But then I read the new Dove coupons. Limit 2 identical coupons in same transaction. Two!! :mad:What's next? One coupon per transaction? One coupon per week? This type of limit really hurts as most deals these days need you to buy 4 or more items. And tracking doesn't help when trying to work with a $4/20. These coupon restrictions are starting to bum me out.

schnauzermomma 06-01-2012 09:22 PM

If it's been discussed, I missed it, but I just realized the Physicians Formula deal for this week has the exact same ecb code as the deal for last week. Bummer... :sadwalk:

What does that mean, exactly? It's the same deal as far as the registers are concerned, so if you did it this week you're already maxed out for next week?

Are the Gilette regular price? I have a 20% expiring within the next day or two..I forgot.

Would work well w/a 4/20 and the 20% if so.

There's a new P& G rebate out now for $10/20 on Covergirl & Olay makeup. Link [covergirl.com]

Not sure on the prices on these, but assuming CVS carries them and that they'd be included in the B1G1 50% sale, might be a good way to convert some ECBs to cash.

LuvFreebies 06-02-2012 08:49 PM

Did this deal today: also adding this mq to the wiki:

(4) x Simply Venus @ $8.99 = $35.96

use
(1) $4/20
(1) $3/15 FB
(2) $ B1G1 Gillette Venus or Daisy Disposable Razor and get one Daisy or Venus Disposable FREE (up to $14.99, excludes travel/trial ) (6/3/12 PG)
(2) $2/1 Venus Disposable/ Daisy Disposable Razor (5/13/12 PG)

=$6.98 OOP
get back $10 ECB (had to get manual print, manager looked at scenario/ coupons ad, said it was valid transaction)

You can do a similar transaction with the Gillette Good news/ Custom Plus 3,as the same type coupons are also available in the 5/13, 6/3 PG inserts.

Not sure on the prices on these, but assuming CVS carries them and that they'd be included in the B1G1 50% sale, might be a good way to convert some ECBs to cash.

Wow ... great find .. thanks a lot :repped:

Online price shows from 12.99 to 16.99 ...

I just did this deal.

2 Oral B Cross Action toothbrushes $11.98
2 Oral B manual toothbrushes $5.54
1 Speed Stick deodorant $2.99
Total = $20.51

-$4/$20
-3 $1 toothbrush CRTs
-$5 $5/2 Oral B battery toothbrushes (in package mq)
-$1 Speed Stick
-$6 ECB
Total after q's = $1.51 and get back $16 ECB

$8.49 MM if you have the Oral B coupon. It was an in package mq in Duracell packs. I just wish I had 2 more of the $5/2 Oral B q's to do it on my other 2 cards.

I did this buying the 2 oralB Crossaction 11.98 - $5/2 - 2x $1 crt
2 Oral B manual prohealth crossaction Soft 2.77 ea - $1 x 2crt - $1 x 2 mq
6 Hersheys b2G1 free - 3 bogo air and milk choc
-$3/15 FB
paid $5 Got back $14

Then I tried to roll 2 $10 ebs on the $30 Bounty - 3/15 - 5 $1 mqs get Charmin but the 7.49 Charmin did not come off and upon further examination he said there was a limit on the bounty of 3. Of course that's not the reason bc the 5 Bounty's rang up at 5.99 but just cancelled and left.

opal258 06-03-2012 12:09 AM

Does anyone know if the Proglide floss is included in the $2.77 sale? I don't use Satin floss, so I'm hoping they include the Proglide. TIA!

The buy $30 P&G get free item is always screwy. I tried it back when the Bounty Basic was the free item and it didn't come off. On my receipt it mentioned spend $30 get Dawn free. The cashier manually took off the Bounty after I showed her the ad. You'd be better off waiting for next week anyway. I plan on burning the 2 $15 MM PF skincare ECB I got last week on the Charmin/Bounty next week.

Also, it looks like the generics for the week are $4/$12 Cosmetics and B1G1 free Skinny Water.

tamilgirl07 06-03-2012 03:26 AM

My run today:

CRT From machines:

- Generic $2 off on any shampoo / conditioner / styler (works well with head and shoulders)
- $1 off any head and shoulders shampoo / conditioner
- $4 off $12 cosmetics coupon

Physicians forumula get ECB $15 on skin care deal:
The items rang up at $4.99 although the yellow sticker said $19.99 and it does not show up in the tracking for weird reason. Had to do a manual print for $15.00 ECB

I bought:
2 Head and shoulders shampoo: $5.99 * 2 = $12
1 olay 6 pack bath soap = $8.29
1 Gillette 10 pack razors = $11.29
2 Oral b toothbrush = $2.77 * 2
1 speed stick = $2.99
Total: $40
-$ 2 $4 off 20
-$2 shampoo crt
-$1 head and shoulders crt
- $1 head and shoulder coupon
-$10 cvs cash card

Total: $17.11
Got $10 H&S + $4 for oral b + $2 for speed stick

Second transaction:
2 oral b power $12
1 Dr. scholl's $9.49
Total:$21.49

- $4 off $20
-$ 2 dr. scholl's coupon
$10 ECB + $4 ECB

Total: OOP = $1.49

Got $10 oral b + $3 Dr.scholl's

They come in your email if you sign up your card on CVS.com, some people get them off ebay, sometimes they are shared here (although the shared ones will beep "not for card" if they were not sent to you and are YMMV), sometimes people share the generic ones, etc, etc).

FreshOne 06-03-2012 07:30 AM

The Dove Men+Care Body and Face Wash (13.5 oz) are ringing up the sale price, but are not tracking for the $5 ECB WYB $15. I bought the Extra Fresh bottle.

I had to get a manual print.

danicole 06-03-2012 07:55 AM

Hoping someone can help me out here.....is the spend $25 on Schick get $10 ECB still active this week? I thought it was a May monthly but it was still tracking as of June 1st. I had $2 left to get my ECB and was wondering if I am SOL. TIA

Great.:) I am trying to do 1 each TB and 1 TP in each transaction, so I don't get too large an ECB, esp with the Oral B power TB.

This question is asked more than once a day on every CVS thread.

Some people get it from email offers, but most people buy them from ebay.

Is it safe to buy 4/20 Qs from ebay? Are they always legit?

I use one in every transaction I do at CVS now and never had a problem. Been using them for about 6-7 months and do 3-4 transactions a week on average.

courtneyrtr 06-03-2012 11:02 AM

There is a regional Milk ecb deal again, I'm in Texas and we have it.

I got a $4/12 cosmetic CRT today

Oral B stages battery operated toothbrush princess and mermaid included in $5.99 get $5 ecb deal.

thawatcher 06-03-2012 11:10 AM

If anyone else got the mailer a couple days ago from CVS with the candy coupons, I was able to use the $2/3 1.5oz Reese's coupon with the buy 2 get 1 free deal and got 3 for .38. The regular price at my store was $1.19...

1.19*3=3.57
-1.19 (B2G1 sale)
-$2/3 MQ (from mailer)
= .38 for 3

Just a note.....

Twice I have purchased $4 off $20 Q's from the bay. They were under 2 bucks, so cheap enough, yes. But I never used them because I rarely spend $20 at CVS.

Just something to think about if you are going to buy them. :)

I just started buying them a few weeks ago, I was weary because they always beep NOT for Card if you didn't officially receive it, but I figured for $1.48 I'd give it a try, works out perfectly since I have 5 cvs cards, so far so good, I've been sticking with the same seller, so do a search and the seller who sells at $1.48 buy it now sells working $4/20's beep free!

One thing that does confuse me is none of the sellers tell you that you need a printer because they are emailing them to you, maybe this is just common sense but not everyone has a printer!

It is VERY easy to get to $20 at CVS and bring it down with coupons, I do it 10 times a week at least.

The deal is WYB $10 though.

I know a few weeks ago, it was like 7 ECB when you buy ANY PF cosmetics. So, I know back then you could get a cheaper item, but in this scenario, just the $5.99 shouldn't work right?

There is a $4/12 cosmetics CRT, a $1/1 MQ (and some have $3 peelies), and if you have % off, may work? Not sure though, might make it cheap. I'm about $3 away from another 5 BC ECB, so I may end up doing something with a $12 item.

Could use another computer or try the coupon trading thread.

I did the following on the P&G $10 EB today. Had the 20% of coupon. Bought the 8ct Gilette Fusion Power for $33.99 and a Fusion Power Razor for $12.99. Also used the P&G buy a 4ct or larger cartridge and get a razor free. Net of $16.19 for a razor and 9 cartridges. Add in a $4/20 coupon and make it better.

Would have been better to buy 4ct for $18.99, the razor for $12.99.

$ 18.99
$ 12.99
($ 6.40) 20% off coupon received this morning via email
($12.99) 6/3 P&G coupon buy 4ct larger get razor free
($10.00) extra bucks
---------------
$. 2.49 net for 1 razor and 5 cartridges

Add a $4/20 coupon and net make $1.51 after extra bucks

What's the coupon order that allows the subtotal to go negative (before tax)? Is it manufacturer's coupon first, then ECB? Or the other way around?

Other way around - a non-992, non-beeping manufacturer's coupon has to be last.

Went to do the 10 ECB with $30 Gillette deal today and I did not get credit for the Daisy disposable razors. So I would up $4 short. Didn't notice until I got home. Anyone else have this happen to them? And suggestions on how to deal with it? I was going to call CVS corporate in the morning, but I am thinking maybe I should just go back to the store.

I would just return them and buy something to qualify for the deal ... I had a similar issue with schick a couple of weeks ago and cs did not issue the ecb .. I just exchanged the items for something that triggered the ecb .. HTH

Want to give a HU on this. I did this deal again, and my Venus b1g1 did not beep. Cashier did have to enter the price. However, the Simply Venus are NOT tracking as part of the Olay deal. On both accounts I have gotten a manual print.

So I am hoping I have not posted a dud deal here.

I hope everyone who has done the above deal has received their ECB's.

Did it matter what order you gave them? I just had a nightmare of a time at a store I avoided for awhile because they were so uncoupon friendly--but started going back to because I hadn't seen this SM in months..The poor boy that was ringing me up had really bad eyes--you could tell by the glasses he wore and he had to put every coupon up to an inch of his glasses. I had a couple beepers because they had to adjust down (like CRT for 3.00 but item 2.99) so I would tell him that was why it beeped. I gave the 1.00Q CV first then the CV BOGO. It beeped ( I assumed for the price)--he put it to his face--told him it had a max price listed.. He still couldn't get it to go--he said it said max coupon usage--( I used more after this so I didn't have more Q's than items) he put it through at 7.50..He rung up my last CRT wrong the skinny water CRT--but straightened it out..I was already giving ECB's when the SM started looking at my Q's--( I think the last beep set her off)..She said you couldn't use a 1.00 CV Q with the BOGO Q--I said I thought you could--NO she said---I said ok take it off--before I knew what was going on she told him to void the order..OMG--I told her just to take it off--she pretty much brow beated the boy to death...She got out the CVS coupon policy to show me it didn't say anywhere you could use the extra Q--( I didn't care about the friggin dollar!) So just beware the 1.00Q is YMMV----and yes I'm sorry half of this should be in chat---or worst episode thread---will go there when I call about how she treated that poor kid...

Sorry, I'm not the expert on what order to hand the mq's. I get flustered at times trying to figure out the order. I know someone here knows the answer to that!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

"Oral-B adult manual toothbrush 1 ct., SuperFloss 50 ct., Satin Tape or Floss 27-55 yds. $2.77 Get $2 ECB Limit 2"
The Oral B Pro Health Clinical Pro Flex is also scanning at $2.77 and working for the deal.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Look out for a Mission tortilla display. 10 ct tortillas with a bright green $1/1 mq are $.99c this week, making them free! Some had reported the tortillas being on clearance at their stores, however, it's a new item at the stores I have been to.

aura 06-03-2012 08:58 PM

The Q's in the J&J healthy essentials rebate booklet if you have--and don't know if the Q's (peelies) on KY products at wags have been posted--says over 20.00 in savings --works well with the J&J baby items for 2 for 6...I like the one Q in the peelie booklet because it has one for the smaller clear oil ones that are nice for sunburns and windburns...

Anyone doing the Buzz Campaign for the Dr Scholls Massaging Gel Insoles...This would be the perfect time to use the 5. coupon that came in the kit.
The insoles are on sale for 9.49 and kicks out a 3. ECB making them 1.50 ea plus tax.
There is a limit of 1 per account.

A quick review...My Husband has been using a pair for the last few days and he said they have been very good. The Dr had recommended he use insoles and the normal insoles were not doing what they should be so for us the timing was perfect on this.

Can someone help me with Send to Card? I just checked my Beauty ECB balances since it didn't print automatically when I hit $50 and the $5 ECB was there and it gave me two options "print at home" or "send to card" - since I'm going to CVS anyway, I decided to send to card thinking my ECB would print when I scanned it at the SCO or the CRT machine.

Then, I was like "oh no" because I remembered send to card was that new program where the ecb was actually on your card. I've had a lot of problems with this in the past. I know the ECB is supposed to automatically come off but I mostly use SCO and it never did. That was when the program first rolled out. Does anyone know if send to card works now with SCO? At the times (months ago) someone told me the cashier had to elect to use the send to card Q but the cashiers in my area hadn't heard of it and my first few attempts with a flesh and blood cashier also did not work even though I met the threshhold etc.

How can I redeem my $5 ECB - is there a way to unsend from card so it will print or I can print it? TIA

I agree 100% but now, that I've idiotically hit that button, what do I do? Call CVS and ask them to undo it?

I don't think you can do that. But if you go to the store and it doesn't come off, then you can call them.

HELP! - Just starting

If anyone can give me any advice that would be awesome. I really want to get into couponing to save some money for my family. Our household income will be going down significantly in the near future. Any help would be awesome.

I do not seem to get all the ins and outs. I have a CVS and Wallgreens close to me. I kind of get what to do, but it doens't seem like i get as good of deals as other people get on things they use. I need to start a stock pile before October!

I would start by looking at the wiki at the beginning of this thread and follow the linked threads. The first thing you need to do is read the FAQ thread (first link).

If you're not getting as good a deal as the rest of us, why not? Follow the weekly threads once you have familiarized yourself with how CVS works (through the info links in the wiki), and follow the deals everyone posts. If you're not getting the same deal, figure out why and adjust... CVS'ing (or Wag'ing, which is discussed in the Wags threads) takes time and effort. Most of us regulars have been doing this for years, and didn't just start out on our first day with a stockpile.

Enjoy!

Hi MPearce! Welcome to our community! There are a lot of helpful people here. The first place you should start looking/reading are the "wiki"s. They are the second posts in every thread where the previews and coupon matches are usually located. There are also several links that explain how to do stuff. Make sure to check those out first...most of your questions will be answered there. Then come back into the thread to share deal ideas or benefit from others wisdom.

This is a reputation driven community so if you see a deal that someone posted and you like it make sure to tell them so! It makes everyone happy! Good luck!

A few words about BOGO's

MQ reads buy a widget get a freebie
MQ reads buy a widget get a goodie

widget
freebie
goodie

If you wanted both the freebie and goodie you would actually need two widgets, as both coupopns require the purchase of a widget, you cannot double dip on the widget like that

You can use a $/1 mq along with the bogo to "buy" the widget, paying for the widget with both coupon and ecb or cash

so

widget $/1
freebie bogo mq
widget $/1
goodie bogo mq

That is the proper use

As far as all the mods ever say......

we do not police store coupon use.

MQ coupon use we do address, we are not paid by the stores to enforce THEIR policies. However, we are here to address issues with MQ, and this is where this scenario falls.

Please refrain from discussing it further
thank you

Nuffsaid

Near as I can remember, hair color is included in the definition the FDA has for "cosmetics". Does this mean you'll convince CVS? Nope. But I'd call and ask CS if I was truly curious.

I handed over the BOGOs first. The first one prompted for the price and the second one prompted for a manager. The manager came over and said he couldn't accept the second BOGO because it said "Limit one per purchase." I explained to him what that meant but he wouldn't budge. The cashier told me it went through and then scanned the one $2 off I had. The ECB printed fine and I just put the rebate in the mail today :) I want to note that my store has higher prices so the $13.49 cartridge might be $12.99 at other stores. It will still get you over the $50 threshold for the rebate in one transaction.

CRT works fine on trial size, I used it on June 3

The cashier told me it went through and then scanned the one $2 off I had. The ECB printed fine and I just put the rebate in the mail today :) I want to note that my store has higher prices so the $13.49 cartridge might be $12.99 at other stores. It will still get you over the $50 threshold for the rebate in one transaction.

:thanks:

Sorry--20.00 peelie booklet are on OB product--not KY..

(4) Gillette CustomPlus 3 - 7.49x4 = 29.96

Use:
$4/20 = 25.96
20% = 20.77
(2) BOGO 5/13 PG = 5.79
(2) $2/1 CustomPlus 3 = 1.79

Get back 10ECB.

Ended up doing this, though the CustomPlus 3 was 8.29 each, so my total was 2.74+tax. Total after tax was 4.55, so a 5.55 MM. Plus, will submit for the Buy 25 in 1 trans/10 rebate. No beeps at all.

Also did the CoverGirl Lashblast posted earlier. No beeps. I'll use that receipt for the Olympic rebate. I think that should also put me over for another BC ECB as well.

Overall, a great trip to CVS today.

$50, 20% would be $10 off, use $10.99 buy cart get razor, $11.49 b1g1 so $17.52 get back $10 ECB. Then submit for rebate.. would this work?

Yes, it would work, and you could also use a $2 off for the other razors if you have them.

Hi oxymoronx,

How much does the covergirl lashblast (2) count in the olympic rebate?

$13.49. Paid only 0.98+tax, so good deal. :D

The $4/12 is spitting out again today. If it is still printing the next two days...

Ideally, do it a total of 4 times. 0.98x4 = 3.92 (53.96 total for rebate). Plus, get a 5 BC ECB. $11.08 MM on that alone if $4/12 CRT continues to print.

Rep means to give credit to someone who gives positive info! Left click your mouse on the colored reputation box below a persons name (icon). Type in what you want and enter.

Just in case anyone was wondering, The Oral B Pro Health Clinical Toothbrushes are ringing up the same sale price. This is an awesome deal because there are a few $1 off Coupons out there.

Please refrain from discussing it further
thank you

Uh-oh! I saw this deal posted yesterday and already went out and did the deal since I was trying to finish off the rebate that ends tomorrow. I only bought 1 widget because I thought it was a legit deal and didn't know otherwise. Should I (and anyone who only bought 1 widget because they thought it was legit) go back and buy a second widget? We could use another $/1 coupon towards this second widget but no other coupons.

Where did you get this coupon? I don't know of any $1 off coupons right now for the Oral B toothbrushes. I only have the $.25 measly coupon from yesterday's P&G which I don't think is good for the Pro Health TB so I got the Oral B Complete TB.

There were $1 ones in a P&G coupon booklet that expires 6/30.

honestly, I would not.

It will not "make it better"

It might in fact get someone ( cashier) in trouble.

Learn and go forward

Maybe a little more understanding though~

say you had 3 mq for buy a widget get a freebie

you would never assume you could buy one widget and use all three mq
for three freebies

as in
buy 1 widget
get freebie with mq
get freebie with mq
get freebie with mq

just cause the freebie is a different item, does not make it ok...

does that make sense?

What Venus cartridge and Venus razor did you purchase? TIA!

towers741 06-04-2012 06:14 PM

Slight OT: There is another P&G rebate ('Thank You Mom') that stacks well with this week's deals. $10 prepaid Visa wyb $40 in participating P&G products. I posted about it here. I believe purchases must be made by 6/30. The $40 must be on ONE receipt, thanks to hba123 for reminding me!

Maybe someone here can answer this question: Gillette is listed as a participating product, but Gillette Venus isn't. I sometimes see Venus listed by itself, like on the P&G Olympics rebate, which very few products counted towards. On a rebate like this one, can I safely assume that Venus razors count?

This deal stack very nicely with the $30 --> $10 ECB deal & free Charmin.

My coupon was actually on a dental bag with 2 other coupons. $2 off Pro Health Mouthwash, $1 off Pro Health Toothbrush and $1 off Crest Floss.

I bought the original, non-fancy Venus cartridges (the ones in the blue packaging) and the Spa Breeze razor. There were about two or three other razors with handles that were the same price so you shouldn't have a problem finding one of the cheaper ones. I'm in a higher priced area so my prices might be a little higher. Good luck!

You have to buy 2 cartridges to get be able to use both the Olay & the venus free coupons. You can choose either/or, but not both if you are only only buying one.

You only bought one cartridge and received two free items. That is misuse. Read the thread before posting.

Your exact scenario was discussed in this post and this post.

Read them.
