You're welcome...I held off on posting until the 4 day sneak peek hit the system, hoping for something....anything, and there is just nothing there this week. That list includes any pertinent bonus buys, so unless there is some last minute RR deal hit the color ad, it looks like a week off from Wags.

6/17 is not looking much better, but there's a couple things to at least help move RR's forward.

I gotta go thru all that stuff again. I've got both the 1 week, and 2 week ad info for 6/17, and there wasn't anything that jumped out at me.

And when you threw in the clearance Bayer Crystals you got a $5 RR and a $10 RR.

Yeah, we maybe forced to roll into the $10 RR's week of 6/3 and then those $10's may be pretty hard to spend the following 2 weeks. Oh wait, I forgot about the $6 generic item (stock may be an issue on those) or those magic $2 hair items would be a perfect roll that week too

So then we are stuck for 6/17 and pray for something good materializes for that week. Or a good monthly RR opportunity like Kotex and Depends was this last month.

Good news on Ecotrin after coming up completely empty on truck a week ago and limited amount arriving 2 weeks ago is that a boatload of Eco-trin came in on today's truck.... hallelujah! :whee:

Yes. My son loved those too. I guess that is one of the downsides of being an SDer. Sometimes we don't discover something until it goes on clearance....

Items listed are diapers, newborn to size 6, and wipes.

Sneak peek says "Jumbo Pack Premium Diapers" and "64 or 75 pack wipes".

Do you happen to know if the venus razors are also included in Buy $30 or more participating Gillette, Old Spice or Secret products get $10 RR because with the new coupons from the 6/3 P & G and the extra $5 cat when you buy 1 olay and 1 venus razor this will be a very good deal.

Just a preview for those who are trying to line up their RR rolls weeks in advance. There is one item that is close to FARR item in 6/17 I saw in a very quick glance of the 4 page preview.

It is a Colgate toothpaste that is advertised as "FREE" @ $3.00 price with a $2.50 RR and $0.50 manu coupon (assume will be in that week's Sunday papers when they advertise it like that).

Not much to work with still...if you end up hanging onto $2 RR's from Goody 6/3 week you'd probably want to use 2 of them and still need $1.50 of at least 2 other items. I am guessing I'll be on mostly $10's and $6's so I am going to need to find some other useful item to buy. May be time to cashout on more paper products...most likely TP since I am already getting a ton of paper towels and napkins during 6/3.

Not that I'm aware of. Manager called asking about coupons so she could bump her order if neccessary. I read off what I found, including the lotion and stylers, and she responded that the Professional line was included at $3.49 and the smaller $1 bottles would go well with the $0.50/2 coupon.

The $2 RR deal is showing with the Lavender Vanilla lotion (18 oz) WIC 476275. 2 week ad.

I will mention, while it does list several Suave shampoos at $1 (regular retail), the $2 RR is only showing for Juicy Green Apple. Info does not close until 6/5, so I'd double check in a few days. I'll see if the sneak peek is available, and if Suave is on one of those 4 pages. Should be with the new ad format.

Suave hair spray, mousse and stylers are showing the RR and are $3.

ETA - full ad is printed, so hopefully, Summer's SM was reading the ad and it's a go for the $1 Suave. Will verify and get pics.

Actually this was discussed a couple months ago and I thought it was the worst coffee I had ever tasted whereas everyone else who had tried it thought it was fine. To me it was weak and old tasting. Maybe I just had a bad can

so mad that I did not use more of the bogo Mascara coupons in the beginning of the week. I was saving them for this week. They are on monthly sale for 6.99 and BOG50% On the new registers the coupons takes off 6.99. So this was a sweet deal with the 3 cat for buying CG and olay

Ben & Jerry - BOGO - 2/$4.99

I have seen Ben & Jerry coupons at several Quik-Trip gas stations. $1 off 1 pint.

So $2.99 for 2 pints after Qs.

Same here. Was very disappointed as I could've/should've done the deal earlier in the week. I had only done it once since I wanted to wait for more stock which came in last night. Today, I paid using some Skintimate 2's and Brainstrong - no $3RR printed. I also experimented with rolling the $8 (long barcode) and another 8 printed, but still no 3.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but the dd didn;t work for me tonight. It seems that no mens razors are included. Some of the gift sets did work for me.

None of the men's razors are tagged for the $10 RR WYB $30 deal but several of the men's cartridges are tagged for the deal. All of the Venus razors and cartridges were tagged for the deal so if you didn't get in on the Venus/CG/Olay deals last week you could still buy the Venus Razor, Venus Cartridge, a shaving gel to get you to the $30 plus buy an Olay, and CG and then you would get the $10 RR for $30 worth of Gilette and the $5 RR for Venus/CG/Olay.

Not as good as last week -- especially since the $3 RR is no longer printing but it's still decent.

Did anyone else try any of the Men's razors to see if an RR printed -- i.e. maybe the Mach3 line counts but there just aren't tags.... I wasn't daring enough to try a Mach 3 razor/cartridge combo to see if it would work....

NOTE: EDITING TO ADD that I did go back to Walgreens and bought the following:

Gillette Fusion Razor $9.99
Gillette Fusion cartridges $15.99
Gillette Shave gel $4.99

I did NOT get a $10 RR -- I only got the $4 RR for the razor

ingrl34 06-10-2012 07:53 AM

Nivea mens face wash & scrub did not ring up 2/$7 (had to be price modified) but DID print RR. Also bought after shave balm & lotion and they rang up correctly and also gave RR. At my store the Nivea shave gel was marked downed to $1.99 -- bought 2 and got the $2 RR.

Thank you for this report. Nothing was marked at my store so I asked which ones were included - at first they said it had to be just the one pictured - I pointed out that it said excludes a couple of items so doesn't that mean it includes the rest? They did a price check and since none of it was showing 2/$7 they said none of the others were included.

I did see the $1.99 shave gel but was afraid to try it.

I figured I'd wait and see what is posted here or for the store to get their signs up. I hate not knowing what works.

I'm looking at the ad right now and it is pretty clear to me that Men's Razor's don't count.

Here are some scenarios's I was thinking of to get the $10 RR:

scenario1:
$12.99 - Gillete Venus Razor
$17.49 - Gillette Venus Embrace refills 4ct
-$12.99 - BOGO Venus Razor
-$2.00 - Gillete Venus razor or refil
=$15.49, get back $10 RR
=$5.49 net for 1 razor and cartridge

scenario2:
$9.99 - Gillette Fusion Proglide Razor
$16.49 - Gillette Fusion refills 4ct
$12.99 - Gillete Venus Razor
$13.99 - Gillette Venus refills 4ct
-$9.99 - BOGO Fusion razor
-$12.99 - BOGO Venus Razor
-$2.00 - Gillete Venus razor or refil
=$28.48, get back $14 RR
=$14.48 net for 2 razors and 2 cartridges

Adulon 06-10-2012 10:29 AM

I don't follow wags but just peeked in to see what's in....

$3 CAT has not been printing since yesterday even with RA..........RA which had CAT machine was printing $5 & $3 for combo of Venus Olay and cg but no longer overlapping cats only $5 is printing since yday

Here is what I did for the Spend $30.00 get $10.00 (and get the $5.00 Gillette/Covergirl/Olay)

*Note my store argued with me about adjusting the coupon value down from $16.99 to 10.99. So I just let them go with the 16.99 (YMMV)*

(1)-$2.00/1 Venus Razor 6/3 P&G
(1)-Gillette Venus Spa Breeze Refill 4ct - $16.99
(1)-B1 Venus Cartridge G1 Venus Razor FREE 6/3 P&G
(1)-Gillette Fusion Shave Gel 7oz - $4.99

(1)-$1.00/1 Olay Cleanser 6/3 P&G

Yeah, a week off for me.

The Fusion razors were listed with the Buy $30 deal, but that was printed well before the info closed. Someone likely caught that there is a $4 RR on the $9.99 razor, and that was pulled from the Buy $30 promo.

Only way to know for sure is to pull the 6/10 info again to see what is included.

I mean this with all due respect, but you used a $10 RR, that is not an MM. It would be $20.21, get back $15 in RR.

Also, the store is likely going to get charge backs from P&G from all these razor/cartridge deals where the max value of the coupon was exceeded. I'd be careful letting them do this, as the cashiers/AM's who let these transactions go thru will likely get in trouble when the charge back reports come in from these deals.

Yeah I made that point as well. But they still took the $16.99. I was kinda shocked they did this knowing that they will be getting hit with the charge backs too.

I am surprised with all the info they can put in a long barcode supposedly they can't make it so it will auto-deduct only up to the max on the coupon.

Well that and auto-deduct on the correct product too...

I too am wondering if this redeemed for over the max price thing is gonna screw the retailers like WAG's and RA also has a huge deal going this week where people seem to be doing the same thing. I am now split if I am going to do the deal over there or not. If it was just deducting $13.99 I'd be more confortable but now I don't know what to do

The cashiers are still supposed to write in the value on the coupon even when it auto-deducts and I am surprised people are able to get them to write in over max value with so much success?

As I stated, my store let the 16.99 deduction on the razor go through. I argued the point about charge backs, but they didn't want to listen to it. .

I figure there may be people that have the Brainstrong $10.00 RR and would be looking for a way to use it.
I payed $10.21 oop (as I'm not counting the $10.00RR I used in the transaction) and got back 15.00 (10 and 5).
Sorry for any confusion this may cause for anyone.

I wonder about that too. I brought it to my store manager's attention. He looked at everything, included the max value on the coupon and said the coupon deducted 16.99 so that's we are going with.

I mean I made my case and tried to tell him different, but you can only beat a dead horse so much right?

I'm skipping it. Was fine with the Venus deal last week cause the Olay razors, then Venus cartridge were both $12.99 here. If we make them enter the coupon correctly at Wags, I think the only way is to manually enter it at the end, then LP will see a big increase in manually entered coupons. Maybe Corp will send out a memo on how to handle these coupons. Will text an AM and let him know to put a fix ticket in.

RRs are money -- treat them that way. If you wouldn't throw a $10 bill at something, don't throw a $10 RR at it.

But here on the forum a MM deal is one where you get back more than you invested into it -- and RR's count as an investment. :-)

In this area, SM's never work Sunday. It's an EXA or AM in on Sunday.

I'm going to mention this again, just so people are aware. Wags is greatly reducing the number of AM and EXA slots next year. If an AM gets written up for anything, no matter how minimal, their name is scratched from the list of those that have a chance to retain the AM position. Have no idea if this applies to EXA's as well.

I'm not the OP but here's what I know: coupons dot com has a $3/$13 Starbucks products Q. The Starbucks ice cream pints  are on sale B1G1 at WAGS, so if you buy 6 pints, your total will be 14.97 and you can use the $3/$13 Q to bring your total down to 11.97 for 6 pints or $1.99 each, which is a great price (61% off wags retail price). HTH

I thought the new barcodes were supposed to make it to where humans didn't actually have to think... they just had to scan them and count on them to be correct.

I wonder about that too. I brought it to my store manager's attention. He looked at everything, included the max value on the coupon and said the coupon deducted 16.99 so that's we are going with.

I mean I made my case and tried to tell him different, but you can only beat a dead horse so much right?

I think if you called it to his attention - then he is responsible for his decision.

The major problem is that he will most likely not remember making the decision. If the store gets burned on the redemption value - they will think couponers are "scamming."

Thanks for the update. Darn I was hoping to get some men's razors. I guess it's back to the Venus ladies sets.

Oops sorry I have to edit my post that you only get back $2 Nivea. As for the Starbucks deal, thanks to everyone who answered jjjennys.

The $3 Starbucks coupon beeped at the new register but was pushed through. My transaction went like this:

2 Nivea $7
6 pints Starbucks $14.97
- $3 off Starbucks (gave this coupon first and it beeped)
-(2) $2.25 Nivea
- $6 RR
- $2 RR
- $2 RR
= around $4.50 oop

While I understand this point, there's really NOTHING that can be done about it in cases like this. We can lead them to water and even shove their faces in it, but we cannot make them drink.

Does the Nivea Shave $2/2 insert Q interfere with the $2 RR?

I tried to get a cashier to scan the GS1 barcode on a RR and he couldn't get it to scan.

No it shouldn't but anything is possible on a new register. As far as the $2 RRs, several people have been having problems with the Ecotrin and Goody RRs. The Ecotrin only worked for me on the old barcode.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but did the Venus and Olay (foaming face wash), and did not get the $5 RR, but did get the $10. Was it a glitch or did I get the wrong product?

Not the OP but did you buy a CoverGirl item? You need to buy Venus Olay and CG for the $5

You would have to buy 1 CoverGirl item as well. I would suggest the $3.99 Eye Shadow.

HTH!!!

WBBell 06-10-2012 06:58 PM

Is the list of Gillette items in the WIki the full list of items? I looked at my home store today and there was a strangely random assortment of items tagged for the promo. Only some of the cartridges, only some razors, none of the disposables, etc. With all the BOGO Qs, there must be a great deal hiding out there somewhere?

Or let me ask this question. I see folks say on here that they've "looked it up" on couponnetwork.com and found that items X, Y, Z, P, D, Q are giving RR this week. How do I do that on couponnetwork? Right now, it's showing me a whopping 3 deals for Walgreens under "YourBucks Offers". Clearly, there are many more that are not shown for whatever reason.

:thanks: for posting your transaction to try to help people. :)

Some people don't count the RRs, Cats, CRTs, etc that they pay out as money. However, it is best to consider them the same as cash. A $10 RR is a $10 spendable resource -- and can be used to purchase anything at Wags. When you spend it, you spend $10, even if not cash OOP.

The AARP does not have to be scanned first; just during the transaction. If you spend at least $20, you get the $5RR. Coupons or paying with RRs does not effect the $20 needed, but using W Qs or IVCs does. You do need to use your AARP card again when you "spend" the $5RR. HTH

If you can't find the bags with the $1 peelies, or if someone took them all(!), you can print unlimited $1/1 Qs from walgreens facebook page(May 15 post), using the Chrome incognito method.

Look for the 10% bonus bags, 3.6oz instead of the normal 3.25oz. I found 3 at one store yesterday.

Question:

when you order a photo online and pick up at store, and do it twice. Later while picking, these two orders will count as 2 items in terms of fulfilling number of coupons or RR per items?

TIA

Multiple people have said that the $3 cat is dead.

From what I saw at Wag yesterday, none of the mens razors are included. Only cartridges.

I have yet to come up with what I'd consider an amazing deal, but you can still do OK with the current coupons. For example - Fusion Cartridge 8 pack ($27.99), Fusion Shave Cream to reach $30 ($4.99-$1 MQ), Fusion Razor (Free after BOGO Man Q), pay $31.98+tax, get back $10+$4 RR, that's ~$14 net for 10 cartridges which is not bad. It's certainly not 50c, which is what we were paying last year, but OTOH, we have not been offered those prices again since last year.

Edited: to fix above idea and to remove non-working idea.

Another thought - Fusion Cartridge 4 pack ($14.99), Fusion Razor (free), Fusion Shave Gel ($3.99 after $1 MQ), pay $20.01+tax, get $10+$4 RR, that is $6 for 6 cartridges plus the shave cream. That's a bit better per cartridge but that is about 2x more than I like to pay for shaving cream.

I didn't think the Fusion razor counted towards the B$30G$10. If it does I'm lovin' these scenarios. The blades are $2.66 each on amazon.

Babybullydixie 06-11-2012 01:11 PM

I have been buying the mens proglide razors 9.99 and 4 count refills 17.99 the venus womans razors and refill 12.99 each 1 olay bar soap 3.29 1 cover girl 3.99 total 61.21 -9.99 -12.99-1-1-2 total 34.26 getting back $19 in RR (10 4 &5) so 15.26 for everything

Good Scenerio! Repped. I have been thinking of doing the P&G deal at local HEB, but this is tempting..

How is paying through the nose for the cartridges ($15??) a slick deal when we are used to getting razors almost free and each razor has 1-2 cartridges in it? Is this just a way to get rid of those $10 RRs ? But no, someone had just one $10 RR and paid $10 in cash, so there must be more to this.

perempempuda 06-11-2012 08:05 PM

Nice surprise today.... forgot to get a filler item, and bought 2 nivea balm used 2/$2off coupons and a $2 RR from goody and the RR went trought .... New registers (NO manual input was used it scanned perfect with no filler)

ThatMaskedMan 06-11-2012 08:22 PM

Did anybody try the Mach3 TURBO cartridges and had problems NOT getting the reward?

I did the 4-pack proglide & 4-pack Mach3 Turbo = 16.99+17.99= 34.99
I got the $4 from the free proglide razor, just not the $10. just used rr's from last week.

I got the $10 from the womens venus cartridges too.

I wanted to do more trannies tomorrow, but don't know if there are problems.
Any got confirmation or anything else?

Admittedly, I only follow Wag these days, but there haven't been any cheap Fusion deals since August 2011. Where I'm defining cheap as the Razor gave an RR and there was a PG coupon for the Razor (only).

So I agree that it's not slick overall, but for a lot of people it may be nearing time to buy some more, and this is the best deal we've seen in a while. Not everyone stacked up a huge stockpile of razors (I did, actually, but sold most of them at a GS).

In order to get the $3 cat you have to buy another CG & Olay.

So, 1 venus, 2 cg, 2 olay get the 3 & 5

Sorry, I don't have an answer but are the proglide razors and the cartridge a saturdate item this week?

I am pretty sure one of our BA's said it was.

I wonder if they had the tag in the wrong place or if the tags were printed wrong..... Had the BA and the AM check the tag.... the gave me another $10rr, but wouldn't try another transaction.

Thanks/repped for the confirmation.

My SM got the memo out and pulled the wrong tags.
They had them up in front of the cheaper fusion blades, the mach3, not sure what else.
You might want to check with your fav store and go from there.

So I agree that it's not slick overall, but for a lot of people it may be nearing time to buy some more, and this is the best deal we've seen in a while. Not everyone stacked up a huge stockpile of razors (I did, actually, but sold most of them at a GS).

I hate to think of how many Proglide coupons I ended up not redeeming back in the day. I would order the coupons intending to buy a bunch of razors in a neighboring state - that taxed after coupons (because in my state the free razors were costing me $1). But the free proglides were a monthly thing - so I would get lazy, let the coupons expire, and figure I could just get more free or $1 razors the next month.

Geez - Back then, I passed up opportunities to buy proglides for $1

I bought the Gillette Fusion Victory Power razor $9.99, Gillette Fusion Manual Razor Blade 8pk $27.99, and the Gillette Fusion Power Glide Gel 7oz $4.99. I used $1/1 mq shave gel and buy blades get free razor mq. I only got the $4RR for the razor, no $10 for Gillette products. Any ideas?

The deal does not include the men's razors.

A while ago when wag's had a 10RR when you bought 30 of gillette a few of the shave gels did not work. I can't remember what ones they were but the store MGR was scanning everything till he found the one that worked. I would go back to the store and ask them to scan the refills and the shave gel to see if RR prints

Well, if past performance is any indication, their next big week for good RR deals won't be until I'm scheduled to be out of town again over the weekend - so the week of August 19 will be the next good deal. Burn em if you got em (unless you have magical RRs that are good until August 19). ;)

Oops, yeah, you're right about that.

I had my own problems with that deal today. Bought the Venus Cartridges ($13.49), the Venus Embrace Razor ($11.99), and two of the Old Spice Body Wash ($4.19 x 2). (Sidenote....at another store, those were $4.99 - stores are four miles apart! Weird!). Anyway, well over $30 but the RR did not print. Manager swiped the cartridges three times to get the RR to print and then voided her own transaction. Was a very frustrating time at WAG today. The second store I went to had NOTHING tagged for RRs this week. I definitely didn't attempt the Gillette deal with no indication of which razors would count. I'm done for the week.

Anyone buying the Nair? It's on clearance for 50% off and there is the printable (on their website) for $3/2 products. Major beeps and a big production getting it pushed through. First clerk tried to tell me that the Face Product wasn't in the picture so doesn't count. Sigh. Highly doubt that's the problem...it says any products...

Also bought the Nivea Men's Face Wash. I expected a problem because I've read here - but the advertisement says "Nivea Men" so that means the entire line except what they note as not being included (though, of course, it says "except Q10" and what do you think was tagged at the first store I went to?!) Anyway, in this store, nothing was tagged and one clerk got another clerk to "go see if it was marked for RRs" (I told him it was not). Then, second clerk went looking for manager who said they'd price adjust it "but the RR won't print." I assured him it would and he gave me a look like I was an idiot. Of course, it printed. Meanwhile, I seemed to spend a lot of time just standing at the registers this afternoon with lines growing behind me. Ugh!

Accu-Chek lancets are a bonus buy 14.99 get 10RR. When I did the rebate they sent me coupons for $5 off. Also the Accu-Chek nano is 14.99 get 10 RR. You might check the coupon in the diabetes answers book if it will work for this. I have a few of the books but apparently I used all the coupons for Accu-Check so I cant tell you for sure

Tried again today in another store, about the need of fillers in 2 diferent transactions using nivea(2) mfr coupons(2) and a RR ( thinking it was a glitch from my store only, because sometimes i can use RR with out needing fillers) and it worked too, tried again with advil and it did! so you maybe want to try without no fillers thinking that fillers had been getting less and less cheap......

couponapril 06-13-2012 06:30 AM

Does anyone know if there is an IVC coupon anywhere for Walgreens brand diapers? I dont see one listed in the infant care book ( which I dont have anyways) but hoping that there might be one in the june book? TIA...

Not everyone is a fan of CVS. Personally I will take my chance at Wags before I waste my time at CVS with their current history (for me at least) of lack of product.

No one knows if the $10RR from P&G is rolling? I would check but it takes me about 30 minutes to get to my store and the truck day does not come until tomorrow. If I have not heard anything by then, I'll let everyone know but was hoping someone would have tried it by now.

Thanks

Not trying to be snarky, but how does this relate to the topic of this thread? FTR, CVS does not operate in every state and has ~1300 fewer stores than Wags.

Thank you for trying to be helpful. Sometimes it aggravates people to read entire deals posted for a different store. If you want to give people a heads up of where else they might want to use their coupons, that can sometimes be helpful - but it is usually better to just give a brief heads up and a link, than to spell out the whole deal.

I think it is perfectly reasonable to point out a place where a better deal can be done. Yes, true, this is wags thread, so keep it brief, but I would spell out the bottom line, otherwise people will ask and then this thread will get derailed. Yes, people really should surf on over to the CVS thread and then they could read & ask there.

The problem I find is that people will reply to the post but the pertinent fact that it is about another store gets deleted.

I havent really seen anything on the sale items this week. they are not super great but I have a bunch of RR I need to burn and there isnt much to flip on this week IMO. Shout is 2/5.00 after in store coupon and I had a IP for 1.50/2 shout ( sorry I dont have the link but it came in an email) 3.50 for two is not terrible, W brand diapers b1g1 so 2/8.99.. also bought some W brand epsom salt which is reg 6.49 each or 6.00 when you buy 2 or more. There is a 1.00 off IVC in the june book. Its about .13 more a pound than my local grocery store brand but I got to pay with "play money" as we call it in our house :lmao:

With walgreens u never know but i wonder if is a glitch (which i mentioned before) that would be fix asap in some stores close to where i live, but i do clarify that the RR that i used was $2 off so were the 2 coupons that i used in just 2 items, and still my oop was $1 dollar + tax, i hope i did not confuse anybody because if anyone try to use a RR bigger than the balance after coupons then we would need fillers...

I think it is reasonable too - especially when people are trying to figure out a deal for the qs. I never mind hearing about a better deal somewhere else. But sometimes people get :chairbas: for posting them...especially new people.

I agree that you don't want it to take over the thread - especially to the point where you can't figure out what sale is going on where. But I always appreciate a heads up on a good deal - even if it is somewhere else.

It seems to have more to do with the order that the RR and coupons are scanned, kind of like a $XX/2 scanned last goes to one item instead of two.

z390z 06-14-2012 11:26 AM

Nope, on new registers $XX/2 attaches to two items - and kicks out one RR if you give it last and only have 1 spot left.

last week bought 1 brainstrong, 2 healthy look of loreal.... 10+4.99+4.99=19.98
paid with $4off brainstrong mfr coupon, 4off/2 loreal mfr coupon and a $10RR of course RR was scanned first than the $XX/2 and RR was not kicked out...... total was 1.98+ tax because filler was not needed...... the fact that the short barcode was changed to the gs1 barcode, does not mean that $XX/2 always would attach to the 2 items being purchased, sometimes it would attach to only one and leave a spot..... like in the old barcodes sometimes you could sometimes not.... it is a matter of trying and if it works great if it does not well at least we did...

the pertinent question is...what bar code was scanned, on the RR

because on the new register a $/2 does in fact kick out a RR at times..

shig 06-14-2012 02:56 PM

When I didn't need fillers I used 4 RRs for a transaction that shouldn't have let me use any. I could probably have used more but I didn't try. I'm not sure which barcode was scanned so I'm no help there.

Wait don't we have to go by the wording on the RR?
If I recall the wording correctly.....One manufactures coupon per item..... with the RR being a manufacture coupon also.

Go to another store. If you have a problem, let them know you paid to get the RR's....they are not handed out or put in the flyer. It can be refunded.

It can be returned. You just have to find someone who will do it. Some options:
1. Go to another wag Wag that doesn't have a jerk/fool for a manger
2. Go to the same Wag tomorrow with no receipt and say you want a store credit

With that said. It's sort of bad form to do what you are doing, namely spend a lot of RR then bring it back and want a refund, because that is basically changing RR into cash/GC which Wags technically doesn't allow. I am sure that wasn't your intent, but that probably is the manager's perception - that you are trying to game the system - and that is why he denied your refund.

z390z 06-14-2012 11:21 PM

I haven't been in this week yet. But last week whereever I forgot to fold the RR with short barcode on top or cashier unfolded it (so register saw both barcodes) - it did not accept last 1-3 mfr coupons (and I had num of items = num coupons and all coupons were $/1, not off 2). To fix that I had to ask them to void the RRs, then re-scan with just the SHORT barcode and then it would take all the coupons.

Maybe "both barcodes" is the problem? Did you have it folded so that the register only saw long barcode, not both?

Long barcode was scanned, which allowed the RR to pop up again too

WAG often has had a cell phone text code for a free 8x10 (different) at the same time as the online code. I do not have a cell phone so am dependent on others's posts to gain this knowledge. Anyone know of a 2nd code this time?

Wait don't we have to go by the wording on the RR?
If I recall the wording correctly.....One manufactures coupon per item..... with the RR being a manufacture coupon also.

Depends on if the wording is convenient for the mod or not.
Obviously mod can't use RRs at other stores = not convenient.
Mod can use more than one RR without accompanied filler item REQUIRED by RR = convenient.

I believe this comes under coupon mis-use which is sanctioned for some, but not others.

I am sure that wasn't your intent, but that probably is the manager's perception - that you are trying to game the system - and that is why he denied your refund.

thanks to both of you.
yeah there wasn't any bad intention, i just don't need it. it was a gift, and who i wanted to give didn't like it.
