[B]Helpful S&S Info:

Instant Savings Deals Go Off Sale Price And Coupons Will Be Deducted As Well but Instant Deals that are buy 10 (or any specific # of an item) can use coupons as the register just counts the number of items.

Zero total is fine at SCO, it does not need intervention YMMV when using cats and your order is less than .25c

B1G1 Free coupon with barcode ending in 14 auto deducts and does not need intervention.

Coupon codes 00 and 01 need intervention. Free item coupons generally have those codes as well as some B1G1Free coupons.

992 coupons (including manufacturer coupon & oyno catalinas) beep at SCO. Therefore it is best to use them at regular cashier - there it will be beepless if it can attach to an item with cost greater or equal to coupon value. (Note: if you are using a regular mfr coupon on that item then one of them would beep - two coupons can't attach to the same item, therefore it is recommended to use those oynos on items for which there is no coupon such as meat, produce, etc.) Otherwise they would beep and the cashier would do one of three things: 1) put them in as store coupon - select department - grocery, etc. (must have purchases more than face value of the coupon in that department for this to take) ; 2) put it in as cash and then ring coupon only order at customer service desk; 3) make up excuses in order not to take it.

Store coupon (including oyno catalinas that are store coupons) needs an item (of any value) to attach to. It appears that it looks for nontaxable grocery items first, then for taxable grocery items (soda, candy), then for other items. In post-coupon tax state it will remove tax only if it attaches to taxable grocery item (obviously you need to have no nontaxable grocery items and at least 1 taxable grocery item in your order for it to do so). Limit 1 store coupon (of the same code) per transaction.

oyno catalinas beep on "items prohibited by law" such as alcohol, etc. and also beep on OTC meds

On B1G1 free sale you can use two coupons $x/1item or one coupon $y/2items or one B1G1F coupon for each two items

Can't think of much too post but want to add something to the nice clean new thread so posting that the ..55/1 Butterball Turkey coupons doubled at a regular cashier even though they are the new barcode and they state DND.

The butterball is on sale for $1.50. Not free but for .40 a good price as we eat it alot and its been a long time since I have seen it for $1 with coupons to match.

coupon*clipper 06-28-2012 06:14 AM

(breaking in the new white sneakers)

I believe the Morningstar Farm $1/1 IP on coupons dot com has reset! :whee: I've only done 1 MS deal so far, so I know I've printed from there before, and this morning I was able to print 2 more.

z390z 06-28-2012 06:20 AM

They are also on sale for 0.99 with ivc at Wags 7/1-7/7, Wags does not double mfr cpns, so it would be 0.44.

Hopefully we'll see 0.99 sale at a grocery store before the coupons expire.

Scan it

Just a note about the scan its that might be helpful. I saw a few people in the old thread trying to get certain coupons to pop up for them. Your scan it coupons are set on Friday and are static for the rest of the sale week until they reset the next Friday. I don't think there is anything you can do to change them during that period. If you are registered online you can actually view what coupons you will get. Also, you don't have to walk around the store waiting for them to pop up. There is a button on the scan it that says Savings, and you can scroll through all your available coupons using that button as soon as you get the scan it.

on ocassion you do get extra coupons that you dont see online that pop up when you scan an item. EX you buy one brand of something and they want you to buy an extra a $1/2 coupon will pop up if you wait in between scans. Or the dog food coupon when you buy another brand. So one never can tell wo trying.

I agree! last week i checked my scan it orders and there was nothing for lactose free anything. i bought So LF ice cream and whadda you know? on next round (about 5 minutes later) i got $1 off Lactaid ice cream. used it too as they had DS's favorite flavor and it was on sale.

That's cool. So you scrolled through the offers when you picked up the scan it and then later a new one that was not there in the beginning magically appeared. I never had any extras pop up that weren't there from the start. I guess I'll have to be on the lookout for those. I did have a different experience, though, where online it showed I was supposed to get a coupon and then it was missing when I went to the store

chipilota 06-28-2012 08:23 AM

Just wondering....

Am I the only one who's store does NOT have Scan it! I so wish we did.

Yes lots of things pop up on every trip. They usually make a chaching noise. You can also DL an app now that you use your phone as the scan it machine less germs if you do that LOL.

We have them here except in the store in the bad part of town there is no scan it im guessing due to theft they never will get it there. If I ever make a trip that way I dont think I have been wo seeing someone get arrested there. My kids call it the bad store haha

Hmmm... interesting about the bad part of town. We only have one SNS and its a stones throw from the best neighborhoods and priciest houses around including several newer pricier developments. There is a bus that comes from a not so great area, wonder if that has something to do with it. I am there almost daily, never see cops or an arrest, but once did hear of someone shoplifting about a year ago.

very low volume nearest SNS does not have scan it. don't think it's a super. 2nd one does. it's definitely a super. not sure about a 3rd one, hardly ever go there but iirc, no, doesn't have either. all decent neighborhoods.

Our says Super on the sign, but it used to be an Edwards originally many years ago. Its definitely very low volume store. Rarely very busy as SR is across the street and Super Walmart is around the corner.

Have one that was converted from Foodtown. not in the best part of town, but not too bad either. close to some pricey real estate. the store is sooooooo small, but all of the pricey items (like shaving stuff) is very high hanging on pegs, so high that you have to ask someone to get it for you and is all on locks, you can't just pull it off the peg. I have never seen an arrangement like this and surmise that shoplifting must be a problem. during conversion they did not put in scanits.
in another store that is in the same type of neighbourhood but no pricey neighbourhoods around it is a Super S&S and there are scanners. also a conversion from Foodtown. who knows?

You have to "spread the love" and rep a handful of other people before it'll let you rep the same person again. Irritating when you want to say thanks to someone twice and you can't, that's for sure

Its Turkey Bacon. At my store by the regular bacon aisle. We are used to this as I don't buy regular bacon, so if you never had just get one and see if you like it.

sweeneycat 06-28-2012 11:38 AM

I couldn't find a mention of the Bush's Grilling Beans deal. They are priced at $1.75 and the mesquite grilling beans have a printable for $1.50/1 making them $.25/can if they are included

bettyc12 06-28-2012 02:20 PM

I went to SnS today. Got my Morningstar $4 Cat. I have heard that SnS will take competitor Q's. Actuall I have heard, yes they do and again no they don't. LOL So today I had 3 Big Y Triples.
I tried it out so I would know for sure myself. Well, no they don't. Cashier was very good about it. She didn't know when I asked her, so she said, " well let's try them and see that happens".
Well I did take her word but I wanted a second opinion. I did ask CS. The one that intimidates me was on. She was in a good mood and answered my question, but not only telling me no, but telling all about the demise of the competitor triples. How nice! Maybe I found a new friend at CS lol

I had to giggle at the Big Y triples and you had 3 of them must today lol.

Thinking of you doing triple back flips and all kinds of gymnastics just to save money amongst other thoughts:lol: Thinking Big Y is a grocery store that really keeps you moving lol.

bettyc12 06-28-2012 02:29 PM

LOL You are almost right. That store is really big, That would be a good way to get thru it.

chipilota 06-28-2012 02:48 PM

I am not sure where to put this question, so I am going to post here and if someone feels the need to move it that is fine as long as I can find it lol.

Now that its near the end of the month, how many coupons do you either print or let hang in your print queue? For a just in case, on things you normally use, but have not been on sale, and you are afraid that come the new month the coupon will be gone and a sale will come along.

I can have 60 or more hanging in my print queue at any one time, sometimes more or sometimes less. I don't print unless I know I am going to use them.

I was wondering if I am the only nut that does this or if other do this or something similar?

You can just let them hang in your printer?? :jawdrop:

Like layaway for coupons??

You're not a nut, that's awesome! How do I do this too? I'm a nut b/c I print a bajillion of them "just in case" and then dump most of them in the recycle box once they're expired. :(
What happens if they ran out of prints on, say, coupons dot com. Are yours still hanging in your 'puter?

LOL you can post it in the thread so you dont have to PM 8 million people. The S&S isnt all crazy like alot of threads we like OT here.. Heck it has to do w shopping right hehee

capslock 06-28-2012 04:37 PM

Can't we just post the instructions in the thread? It's very basic how to do that. Just disconnect your printer cable from your computer. Print the coupon. It will not print since the printer is offline, but it wil show up in your printer queue. Go to your printer settings and put that printer job on pause by right-clicking on it and selecting "pause." Note down the date/time, size, name&value of the coupon, perhaps on a notepad near the computer or in a text document on your computer desktop. Then when you want to print it, just go to your printer settings, right-click on the printer job and select "resume," and it will resume printing. That's it for doing it the low-tech basic way. Of course, there are probably more high-tech ways. Oh... Is that what everybody is pm'g about? If so, someone pm me too!

.

Here, here! :D

chipilota 06-28-2012 04:52 PM

Yes, as posted above is how to do it. I did not want to bend rules or anything. Here is what I have PM'd all. I don't disconnect cables or write anything down.

Here is the eastiest method and how I do it to leave coupons in print queue to print later.

first turn off your printer. Then print a coupon from a site. Look in your print queue and first pause what you printed. Then what I do is go into document print properties and name it and if I know an expiration date too, if not just a name of what is printing, like suddenly salad .55 or whatever you want. You may have to play a little or something might be called a little different on your printer.

Once coupon is paused in queue, you can turn printer on and if you need to print something else no problem, paused one just stays there until you either resume it or delete it.

When I want to print it I just hit resume in print queue and there it is. I am happy to say I came up with this a few years ago on my own.

PM if you have questions.

You are not the only nut!:shake: :secret: I have had as many as 80+ paused in my print queue! Same as you, I try not to print until I or someone else is going to use that IP.

I disconnect my printer cable because if I don't, that printer will automatically turn on when I send the print job. But I guess YMMV. :)

oh, none of my printers do that, so did not know that could happen. Good to know in case it happens to someone else with same printer.

Ok, back to my original question lol. I currently have birdseye voila coupon and Suddenly Salad and Fisherboy deal of the day coupons in my queue with a few others.

With the end of the month approaching any suggestions on any good or MM coupons to put in my queue?

Lisa
Thanks for letting me know this forum is not as strict with the OT as others. Probably why I chose it and felt comfy posting this here.

Quick question for the usual slacker shopper hehe.. Anyone double the Kraft Pepsi instant $5 off deal?
Id like to grab juiceboxes and then an assorted order but i was hoping I could do both in one to get closer to the $50 mark.
LOL they must laugh at me every week I shop Thursday night as the store closes. Im such a slacker!!!

munchkin77 06-28-2012 08:05 PM

Question for next week's deal.

For "save 30 cents w/ $50 purchase" deal, Does total need to be over $50 after all coupon for this to work?

My FLYER states that there needs to be a total of $50 BEFORE taxes and after coupons and instant savings.

I was thinking about doing this deal and trying to get up to the $50 total before taxes and ise the $5.00 and submit for a $10.00 mail in rebate. So I could hopefully get an OOP of around $35.00 for things I need around the house!

I'm talking about .30 off gas offer. I know $5/50 will work before coupons. Want to make sure i will get my .30 offer if I go below 50 mark

PommyMommy 06-28-2012 08:35 PM

There is a B1G1 on the McCormick Grill Mates......and $1/1 coupons in the 6/17 SS. Buy 8 save .20 cents on gas. Does anyone know the shelf price of these to see if it's worthwhile?

The register will ring any extra gas points coupon wyb a certain amount of groceries (in this case $50) at any purchase amount. Though, the points will not get added unless you strictly follow the guidelines, so its after any savings and coupons and before taxes.

I thought I saw a sign today on the 13.99 Lloyds stating it was now 8.99. Not sure if that is the cheaper one or more expensive one. No peapod here so can't check. Next time I go I will double check.

If its 8.99 minus $2.00 IP minus buy 3 get $5 off in NJ, this makes 3 $15.97 or 5.33 each. I am thinking that is a good price, but not sure.

My suddenly salads would not scan at SCO and were put in manually under groceries. They last one of 4 doubled to .55 and .15 so I am going to try again with a cashier tonight. I had other coupons from same printer (heluva) that scanned fine, so not sure what happened. I had other items in order, but from a different department, and that might have been why.

When my daughter doesn't want something she says "this is for the birds and squirrels." I'm wondering if half-thawed waffles would be a nice treat for them today, since it's so hot out.

Just had to say that I got 35 gallons of gas for $41.97!!! Woo - Hooooooo!!! $1.19 a gallon. I could have got it cheaper if I drove to a different gas station, but my light was on and I didn't want to risk it! I knew you guys would appreciate it, so figured I'd post a little OT! I'm set for 3 weeks! My July Savings is about to begin. Have to get out of debt and start paying off bills - going full speed ahead in July!!! Wish me luck!

Thank you--I can never get too much. I was too shy to get more than 7, but it is kitten season at the shelters.

Possible soda deal?

I don't know if this is a deal or not since I haven't tested it myself. I was standing in line behind a gentleman and happened to look at the screen with his total. I didn't mean to be nosy but I was standing in the express lane with my 2 items and didn't know what to look at. There was a line on the computer screen that said "personal savings - $13.95". All he had in his order were 4 12-pack of sodas (Coke brand) and S&S brand products. Am I missing something from the ad for a possible soda deal, or was that truly a personalized saving promo for that gentleman's card?

Wait! This sounds like a Pepci deal a few weeks ago!

Please post what type of soda he had and how many

Eta: the sale is $11/5 must buy 5, r u sure he had only 4?

I came to the line when they were halfway done with his order. They haven't bagged his groceries yet when I got to the line and I'm not sure if he had other soda under his cart. The thing I remembered was that there were 4 12-packs of soda on the belt, at least 2 were Barq. The other 2 packs looked like diet versions of coke brands that had lime in it? I know coke has a lime diet version. All 4 packs had silver packaging; that's definite. I will recall when I go back to the store tomorrow and matched the packaging to my memory....

When I saw the -$13.95 personal savings, I thought of the Pepsi deal too. I was going to say hi to the gentleman thinking he must be an SD member, but didn't want to raise too much attention....

Same here. I suspect it's b/c that SnS thread has been retired. If you click on her name on the left side, you'll get a drop down and one line says "find more posts by", then click on that. It gives you a list of her more recent posts, which usually qualify for a rep. :)

I'm guessing the last 1 autoadjusted? Since your SS totaled $4, the fourth mq would have gone over $4, so instead the register deducted $1.10, 1.10, 1.10, then .55 and .15 to equal the $4 of product.

Thanks for letting us know! I just ran in real quick tonight for like two things, but I made sure to grab another bag while I was at it. :D This brings my grand total to 11 for the shelter -- hope to drop them off tomorrow!!

chipilota 06-30-2012 05:13 AM

On the pepsi I am remembering that the $13.95 for the cans was the correct amount taken off on the cans for the sale at the time, but we got the bottles, which was not correct for and a great deal.

If the cans are $4.99 regular buying 5 would be 24.95 minus 13.95 would be the $11.00. However if its working on less amounts that would be nice. Imagine if we could buy 3 at $4.99 or $14.97 and have $13.95 taken off!!

chipilota 06-30-2012 05:55 AM

Did anyone in NJ get the $5/$50 Coupon this week? Its not in my store flyer but in the one I got at home.

If so any ideas on how to use it to maximize savings?

nofunname 06-30-2012 06:04 AM

If I had any extra money to lose - I'd be the guinea pig for the soda, but I don't. Sorry - I wish I could take one for the team. Since it's something I don't NEED, then I can't!

I am debating on this too, but would have to wait until later when hubby leaves. We still have some pepsi from before and if it were not practically free like last time I don't know what would happen. Good thing is my 2 DD are going away for a few days and I could have it all to myself lol.

just from a quick glance at the front page, the deals are better at SR starting tomorrow. 3.88 watermelon, 1.79/lb bing cherries, 2.88 hellmanns - 1.00ip, 2/5.00 nabisco crackers, etc.

I got it on my home flyer too. I plan to do a few of the "buy 7" type deals, maybe add in some meat or produce that doesn't have coupons to get my total to $50. Scan the $5/50 first, then use coupons to bring the rest of the total down.

Just FYI in case anyone is on a slow computer, before you wait for the PDF -- this is a "money back guarantee" rather than a true rebate -- it asks you why you didn't like the burgers.

Sorry! I got excited for a rebate and wanted to share my joy. It would have been so easy too. Well, I haven't tried the burgers yet so don't know. I liked the rest of what I bought.

marisa724 06-30-2012 09:02 AM

No apology necessary! My old computer takes forever to open PDF files for some reason, so I thought I'd give a heads up. I haven't tried their burgers yet but my kids gave a thumbs up to the breakfast sausage and down to the "chicken" nuggets. :)

I was hoping it would work. I used a post order $4 Cat at CS so I got all 5 for $7.77 after CS gave me $4 back.

I hit finish and pay after four packs and it came up $21.xx. I added the 5th and it went down to 11.77, All coke products. Oh well maybe next time. Still a good deal for me getting 5 for $7.77

I'm assuming that you guys are trying to get the O from the 0.55?

4x Salad @ 1.00 = 4.00
3x 0.55 dbld = 3.30
1x 0.55 = 0.55
3.85

The last double would only reach 0.15 & makes sense that new SCO would go bonkers if there wasn't anything else to eat the O.

Yes, its just with S&S you never now. Its rare but a few coupons have given O in the past and since this was a new one we were hoping!

Totally off topic but I used to feel rather worldly and knowledgable since I have travelled and lived in other countries and with people of many faiths. I just read something concerning a Cher Tweet and dug for more info.

I don't want to offend anyone, so won't be posting any more than that. I just find it fascinating as to what people do for different reasons. I feel like I am living with my head in the sand lol.

I didn't know about this either.
But I will go farther (or further). We (people of the world) are really going out of our way to say that all religions are great, but they're not. Parts of most religions are terrible. It's not okay to have more than one wife if you're mormon, muslim, or whatever. It's not okay to treat women as inferior no matter what your religion of choice is. I think that the values of a country (state) must come before of the values of a religion (church).
However, magical underwear probably don't hurt anyone, so Mitt can wear them all he wants.

Question on this deal. Is it a limit of 3 or 6 per person/address? The form states:

There is a limit of three (3) rebates per person or per address for the "Spring/Summer Rebate Offer" and three (3) rebates per person or address for the "Fall/Winter Rebate Offer."

I read that as 3 Spring/Summer rebates and 3 Fall/Winter rebates - for a total of 6/person. Whatdayathink, 3 or 6?

6 but you'll need to wait for the fall/winter rebate to come out. so do 3 for the spring/summer rebate

caroyapp 06-30-2012 03:03 PM

My suddenly salad coupon scanned fine at SCO. I used the check out counter that I know will scan the new barcode though. ;)

10 suddenly salad = $10
14 chi chi enchilada sauce = $14
5 honest tea = $5
Iams cat food = $0.62
3 pack of chicken thighs = $16.31
red star yeast 4 oz = $6.99
subtotal = $52.92

Use $5 off $50
10 suddenly salad $0.55q = $11
5 honest tea $0.50 q = $5
$1 Iams that is expiring today! This is from the booklet I received from p&g a while back.
Pay $30.92 and get 80 cents off gas which is $28 off 35 gallons.

This week I am actually recycling the money for something healthy that we will definitely eat.... except for the cat food. Glad that it is not ice cream again. lol All the suddenly salad coupons doubled correctly because I have enough items in the correct department probably. :)

Are you sure? I thought that the sausage one was for fall. I called and asked and the woman I spoke to seemed to confirm that. I said something like "so the recipe in the middle is the fall one?" and she said something like "I think so, I looked at them earlier today" (meaning she was trying to remember the placement on the website). Did you call and ask this in a more clear way? I was all gobeldy-gook speach when I called.

caroyapp 06-30-2012 03:19 PM

I found a new CAT advertisement today.

Buy Ore-Ida sweet potatoes (steak fries or crinkle fries) between 6/11/12 and 7/8/12 and save up to $3 OYNO
Buy (1) and get $0.50 or
Buy (2) and get $1.50 or
buy (3) or more and get $3

Unfortunately the 3/$6 deal this week is for Ore-Ida french fries tatter tots or hash browns. :(

I could be wrong...I was going based off what I believed to be true in the Shoprite thread... I didn't call but I was reading the information that others had written on SD...Wait for more information cause I can certainly be wrong:)

I just watched the video for the bratwurst/sausage. He did say summer a few times so I think you are right. I have to go re-read the shoprite thread.

I have a question. I don't hardly ever do rebates but this one for pyramid sounds good. I am a NJ resident, but it just dawned on me that the receipt I was going to mail is from what I bought in a PA store. I am guessing that might not work?

Correct. Do the Spring/Summer Rebates (3 of them) now using the list of ingredients you can buy in my post. Don't forget-you can put all THREE summer Rebates in one envelope. Just attach the receipts and UPCs to the correct rebate. Don't forget to cut out the UPC from the meat or whatever you buy and attach it the receipt or on on separate piece of paper, saying UPC for Ribs=$10.12 purchase (or whatever the cost). Be sure to circle all items on the receipt and prices, also date. And don't forget to make a copy of your receipt , filled in MIR and upc's in case you messed up and there's a question.

Correct. You'll have to wait for the Fall/Winter list of ingredients to come out before you can do the Fall/Winter rebates.

You can buy any type of meat-anything from beef to chicken. You're not limited to the meats in the recipes. My rep looked in up. remember NO fish! The current recipes featured are Spring/summer recipes.

That will most certainly work!! I do it all the time! I live in NJ and get my receipts there. Then I send in for rebates for relatives/friends in NY, and CT. I haven't been disqualified yet!

One last thing: I always write across the top of my receipt-NO BEER PURCHASE REQUIRED IN NJ in case the person processing my rebate gets confused and thinks I live in a Beer purchase required state.

This reminder is probably too late for some but some coupons reset on c.c - since tomorrow is a new month they might be gone by then.

Dont think its been mentioned yet. There's .50/1 Luigi's Ice MQ on the inside of the box. Its not marked on the outside. I bought lemon/strawberry one. And its no expiration date coupon.

We only have .75/2 MQs here, so these are a better deal, and kids LOVE this ice

Thanks -- just note that it does not start until July 9, so won't work for this week's sale.

I just got back from SnS. The picture on my flyer shows the oreida grillers picture 3 for $6
but the store has them marked $2.99. I took 3 of them to CS to let them scan them. No, they did not scan at the $3/$6. I looked at their flyer and couldn't find it, but when I got home I found mine. When I get back I will question it.

depending on your state, buy it first and then go to cs. in nj, they give you the first one free for price mistakes.

Update /buy 3 get .40c off Gas Deal.

Went to local store this AM, most of the buy 3 get .40c off Gas Deals are no go.
For Cocktail Shrimp, Only the $23.99/bag was marked with the deal. In the past, $7.99/1lb bag (plus $3 instant off) was always included. But not this time.
For Lloyd’s BBQ Pork Back Ribs, only $19.99 pkg was marked with the deal. Even with $5 intant off and $2 MQ it does NOT sounds attractive.

But Fresh Boneless Country Style Pork Ribs (3 lbs+) might be a surprising deal!
it's Reg. $2.99/LB, Sale $1.99/Lb with Card at our local store this week. If you can find pkg slightly over 3 lbs, it will be a great deal.

I initially had hard time to find the items that matched the description. So I asked the staff@meat department, he helped me to search and located the last two packages. However, both packages were ~2Lb, which means I might not get the Gas Rewards when I checked out @SCO. So I asked CS desk BEFORE I checked out, they said they will add the points manually.
I went ahead to purchase 2 pkg of boneless pork ribs + 1 pkg chicken Drumstick, total $14.xx and get back 400 Gas reward points (equivalent to $14 of Shell Gas if you fill 35 Gal at Shell Station!
It will be a sweater deal if you could add other purchases >$50 and use xxc of/$50 store Q.

Also, the purchase is qualified for $10/$10.01 printable rebate (Thanks to celestialdigs)

marisa724 07-01-2012 04:06 PM

I got a new mailer yesterday with coupons for each week of July.

Each week gets a $5 off 50 coupon, as well as the following:

7/6-12: $2 off $5 bakeshop purchase
7/13-19: free Natures Promise apple juice
7/20-26: $2 off $5 produce
7/27-8/2: free Natures Promise pasta sauce

My store is always out of the free item for the week (this week - no Heinz ketchup to be found) -- but I do like the produce coupons!!

Did you have them scan the items as part of your order, or just do a price check? My flyer says "must buy 3" to get the sale price, so if you just did a price check maybe that's the problem?

I'm looking at the ad right now and that's exactly right. Add'l or lesser quantities will scan at $2.99.

I searched and did not see this posted yet. Since there are GM cereals and fruit snacks on sale this week, the gas card might be doable. The dates depend on which store you choose. For SnS it's 6/24 to 7/4. Looks like must be purchased in 1 trxn. There's a link for a list of included and excluded products towards the bottom.

The coupon says it excludes gift cards.

I found out the hard way that gift cards dont count towards the gas points total, so I don't think it will work even if the coupon scans.

This probably won't help you but it's 1.99 at S&S in my area. Sometimes the ads in my area have different prices depending on location.

Basically you can get the Iams cat food bags that are marked down to $5.62 for $.62. The catch is that it only works on certain S&S cards. I hope you are one of the lucky ones.

7/6-7/12 ad already on AFC. Gas deal save 30 cents per gallon instead of regular 20 cents.

Celeste flatbread pizza 2/$3 and Magnum icecream Bars 2/$7 included in buy five and save 30 cents per gallon deal.

:)

allenmc 07-02-2012 08:57 AM

The Iams that I've been buying for $0.62 have the following UPCs:
Healthy Naturals w/ salmon 019014024223
Healthy Naturals w/ chicken 019014024216
I discovered today that the chicken variety comes in 2 different colored bags (orange vs. mustard) with the same UPC so look for that if your store is getting low.

I was looking for Q's this morning and found this site.
http://www.commonkindness.com/pri...-coupons/1
They say "do not duplicate" on them although some of them have a 5 on them. Some of them have that long upc grid
Save .55 on one bag of Lay's potato chips 10 oz or larger 0028400-120412
Two unique things about this site is when I went to print more Q's, it told me to come back tomorrow to print more.
Secondly, when you print Q's you can sign up to support charities, yours or from a list on the site. Hope I got this all right. LOL

cwshopping 07-02-2012 11:38 AM

Does anyone know if you can use both a $5 off $50 coupon and a save 30 cents off gas w/$50 purchase coupon with one $50 purchase?

tivaclare 07-02-2012 11:43 AM

I have a question about a possible scenario. Not sure if this is the smartest way to go about it.

I was thinking about purchasing 40 of the tortillas and using the .50/1 coupons, so the cost would be .66/pack or 26.40. I haven't been spending much on groceries right now due to a stocked freezer and unemployment, but I was hoping to use the .30/gal WYS $50 coupon as well.

Is there any way I could use the 40 x .50 coupons, buy an extra $25 in groceries and still use the .30gal coupon too? My store never seems to enforce double limits, but I've never tried with maybe more than 10 of a like coupon at once.

We could really use the gas points and I can work the tortillas into weekly menus, so it's a win-win if I can get 1.30/gal. :-)

Im willing to bet that at SCO it will go thru w no issues I have done it in the past. Just stay over $50 or the gas points will kick off even if the slip prints. A regular register the cashier could shoot ya down lol

The one that I've been getting is Natural, not Organic. I think the Organic one is a bit more expensive. IME, I am able to use half the amount for the same sweetness as white sugar; but that might just be me.
This is from their site:
Quote:

What’s the difference between Florida Crystals®' natural sugar, white sugar and brown sugar?
Florida Crystals® Natural Sugar's unique color and flavor comes from the original sugar cane juice that naturally occurs in the crystals. White sugar is almost 100% sucrose, whereas Florida Crystals® Natural Sugar contains trace nutrients from the sugar cane plant. Some nutritionists believe that these very small amounts of nutrients contribute to the advantages Florida Crystals® Natural Sugar has over refined white sugar. Brown sugar is made by adding coloring and flavor back to the processed sugar. No additives, preservatives, or artificial ingredients are added to our products – just natural sweetness to enhance your favorite foods.

How should I use Florida Crystals®?
Florida Crystals® Natural Sugar can be used just like ordinary white sugar and in the same amount. It will add a natural depth of flavor to your favorite beverages and recipes.

They have a green friendly and an organic version, the one on sale is green friendly and completely grown and processed in the USA :)

It's very similar to regular granulated white sugar but has a bit more of the brown taste because they don't remove the molasses from it in the first place. It's not dark like brown sugar, just a hint of the brown sugar taste and not snowy white. It's great on cereal and making cookies, also yummy in coffee.

Their systems seem to match the coupons to the exact item when computing that threshold of $25. Silly that one $.35 coupon will bump you out though. I just look at it this way, I'm getting $30 worth or what have you for $20, if I use $5 in MQ

I love the stuff, so glad you like it, too :D It's great to buy something that isn't bottom of the barrel nutritionally and ethically that is such a good price, even one that tastes good. I use it for baking quite often, just adding a little extra molasses for something like chocolate chip cookies etc.

It's very similar to regular granulated white sugar but has a bit more of the brown taste because they don't remove the molasses from it in the first place. It's not dark like brown sugar, just a hint of the brown sugar taste and not snowy white. It's great on cereal and making cookies, also yummy in coffee.

Thank you both

For those of you in NJ who have seen next weeks ad up at AFC, the Instant savings deals for us ( versus gas deals) will be $4 IS next week rather than usual $3.

I have not had time to scrutinize or see if anything will be free/cheap, but since the ad is up I thought I would mention it.

Amex is offering $5 statement credit wyb $25 gas at Shell stations. Double dip with gas rewards.

http://slickdeals.net/f/4835532-A...-SHELL-OIL

You can use facebook or twitter.

I used twitter to get additional $15 shell gift card while supplies last.

Twitter offer link : https://sync.americanexpress.com/...F121790002

If you add the #AmexShell offer to your synced Card between 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and 11:30 a.m. ET on July 3, 2012 (“Gift Card Offer Add Period ”), receive a confirmation Tweet from @amexsync stating that the offer has been added to your Card and redeem the #AmexShell offer in accordance with the #AmexShell Offer Terms between Tuesday, July 3, 2012 and Sunday, July 8, 2012 (“Gift Card Redemption Period”), you are eligible to receive a $15 Shell Gift Card by mail, while supplies last.

So 10 more minutes for additional $15 gift card twitter offer.

LOL

I just tried to download some Q's here and it tells me the limit one per day so I guess it is 24 hrs. Darn. LOL

Did you buy the bottles (like the better deal was for with the pepsi last time)? Or did you buy the 12 packs?

My scan-it offers aren't showing up online today for some reason, I'm getting an error. For those of you getting the IAMS is this offer showing up for you online or does is it just one of the ones that comes up in the store only?

I had a bunch of the estatement offers to add to my card online. The ones that you have to add to your card but don't show up automatically.

Finally got my 1st bag of kitty food for my shelter! Just an FYI -all I had to was look in my Scan-it offers on the magic wand and it was in there, I did not have to scan a can of Iams wet food. Hopefully they will restock only 1 bag left!

The online scan it has been down for over a week, they have no idea when it'll be back up and working.
