I was confused because it says Buy 3 Get 1 Free in one box and under "Special Offers" says Buy 4 Get 1 Free but Once I put 4 in a cart, promotion applied takes one off. 4 for the price of 3!

Now there is a B1G1 Free at Pepboys with coupon, but pepboys is kinda far and they are $15.99 each, so $32+Tax for 4, or $34.20 for 4 with Free ship and no tax. You can also get cashback for auto purchase ;)

$11 for a filter is kinda too much.

$11-13 is what K&N's & Mobil1 type premium filters go for in store + tax... so this is a good deal IF you use these type of premium filters... if not and you're used to $2-3 Fram's or STP's... $5-7 Bosch or Purolator Pure One's.. then these seem expensive.. but if you're in the market for K&N premium filters this is a good deal...

yeah I use Purolator Pure Ones on my Honda/Acura's and Lexus and get them for $5 from amazon combining rebates if I can.. Pep Boy's is about $7 for Purolator Pure Ones... but I'm just saying for this product/if K&N is what you use.. this is a pretty good deal.

I too use Purolator Pure One only for my Pilot and Accord.

They have the PS-XXXX line where it is slightly cheaper and no nut for easy mounting, where they are $7 per filter and also Buy 3 and Get 1 Free!

4 of the 171C's for my Harley, for $39.80..... Not bad. Just under 10 bucks a piece delivered. I can dig it.

ti1301 07-28-2012 10:36 PM

I would pounce on these, but I don't think these are for longer change intervals

ilal2ielli 07-29-2012 01:01 AM

These easily do 10k miles, I run mine that long and do oil analysis to back it up.

I'm slowly going up to 12-15k intervals with these filters to see how they hold up.

CCABIN is a bit better, especially if you plan on buying $100+.

CCABIN for AAP: $10 off orders of $30 or more - $20 off orders of $50 or more - $40 off orders of $100 or more!! Free ship after $75 plus tax (even CA)

I stocked up on PureOnes and got them each for about $3.xx after coupon while they were on sale for $5each.

Edit: Hurray for all the PureOne fans!

yellowmansz 07-29-2012 03:25 AM

Nevermind :(

Purolators ftw!!!

uberw00tness 07-29-2012 03:42 PM

$39.42 for 4x HP-2008 filters. Save myself $5+tax over the in-store regular price. I usually buy these as part of a combo deal with oil, so I'm not sure how great of a deal this is...

edit: darn looks like I can't get that PureOne deal as there's no Advance Auto nearby. Looks like I'll be picking up these k&N

eatdirt40 07-29-2012 04:02 PM

Why not buy the OEM oil filters from your local dealer for under $10???
