OBD2 Diagnostic Scanner User Reviews

Hi, i been searching for a good OBD2 diagnostic scanner, Something with at-least some bells and whistles preferably under $100.00. i would prefer the hard wire kind meaning i don't want the blue-tooth or cell app type.

I am looking for honest feed backs & reviews from people who actually have & use OBD2 diagnostic scanners. Please give me your personal experience Pros & Cons about a particular brand. Thanks

I got one of the more expensive Actron models that displays live data, and also does ABS codes. I recommend these features as I find them useful, but you aren't going to get that for $100 though.

$100 bucks not going to do it. Stand alone ODB2 with some bells and whilstles are what mechanic shops buy ...I think they cost thousands not hundrets.

for 100 -200 you will only get software to run on your laptop / perhaps portable phone

I have one of the cheap harbor freight ones, I think I only paid about $30 for it new. It works well for the price. It pulls the codes with a brief description. Usually more than enough to get you started in the right direction. Seraching the pulled codes online usually does the trick.

Most fake ones have compatible problems. You can complain with their CS.
