I used different email addresses and it worked just fine. On the page where it says "Here is your redemption code. Please click here to redeem.", copy the code, click 'there', paste the code, submit and you're golden.

The code wasn't working for me, and I had to chat with Amazon, but they issued the credit to me without a problem.

I don't believe this to be true. At first, I got the code, then tried poking around Amazon to find where to redeem the code. I couldn't find it, so then I looked on Slickdeals and someone had posted the code redemption link. Entered it in, and got an error message. Reading later, I noticed that on the same Scott Values page as where the Amazon code is presented to you, it says to click through to go to Amazon ("Here is your redemption code. Please click here to redeem.") . I think you have to go through that link to then enter your code, to which you should finally get the "Success! Your Amazon gift card or promotional code has been applied" message.

I gave the Scott Values folks a BS email (they accept mailinator domains) which worked just fine and is totally different than my Amazon account address, which is legit.

I know people who have more than 100 Amazon accounts, for what it's worth.

I never really get why people go through the trouble of opening multiple accounts and such to abuse promotions like this. They're breaking the terms and conditions, so its not really any different from if they were to just download their music elsewhere. Either way, the music hasn't been obtained through legitimate means. Even if you get away with it, you're just reducing the likelihood of similar promotions being offered in the future.

I had the same problem. Someone said to refresh the page that spits out the code and it gives you a brand new code which worked for me.

I won't pick for you, but here is a list of the albums that are $5 this month, from their email:

Darn it.... Amazon makes it hard to figure out *where* to enter the code... I go to my account, to my mp3/cloud...no easy "click here to redeem code" button or link.....
