Except I cannot bring myself to ever again purchase a mouse which lacks the side buttons for super convenient web browsing page turns (forward/back).

Good mouse but shit scroll wheel, it's too sensitive, making it hard to click the scroll wheel without accidentally scrolling the page.

Here are the two reasons I didn't get this mouse (and this is strictly my preferences): The middle wheel click takes more effort than I like (compare to some microsoft, and even some Logitech mice I think), and the Logitech software doesn't allow the middle wheel click to be assigned to the "double-click" function.

Again, these are just my preferences, but other than those two things, it's a very nice mouse.

I have a M505 and an M510. Both great mice and I'm sure this one is too. Wish it had forward and back buttons on the left side like the 510.

Grhhhh... I am soooo jelous...I wanted a performance mouse but the staples near me didn't allow to execute the deal :( ..set for deal alerts and everytime i see a alert come through and see you guys refer back to your success make me :shake::mad:

can anyone recommend a logitech mouse that has helped them deal with RSI issues or relieves their wrist or fingers from fatigue and pain? One that has side clicks..thanks.

The M525 is a great mouse but I've owned this particular White/Red one and it gets dirty real quick. Unless you plan on scrubbing it often I would go with the Red/Black color combo as I ended up doing.

This is one of my favorite mouse, the other being Logitech VX Revolution. I have a red/black one, but paid much more ($33) than this price. The scroll wheel is really precise with that micro gear feedback, and fits perfectly on my hand. The unified receiver is a bonus.

Make sure the sticker is kept on the barcode if you cut it out, apparently they accept photocopies of it as well though, so that is an option also

Personally I'm just taking the sticker off, no need to copy/paste and no need to make the box look uglier if you want to give it away etc.

On second thought the entire thing is coming off, that sticker is stuck like crazy on there haha

ughhh hard to get this now. logitech came through with my performance mx mouse warranty (its been like almost 3 years) and are sending a new unit. not sure if i have to send the messed up one back, but in any case, i will stick with the top of the line for now.

Anyone happen to have saved an image of their UPC code? The wife threw the box away before I could snip it and it kills me to lose $10 to the Tiger for stupidity. The rebate form says they accept photo copies.

You are so right about this. The tracking is excellent but the mouse is rendered almost unusable due to the extremely touchy scroll wheel. I click the scroll wheel a ton and it's extremely annoying to use now.
