How good is the graphics card? Why did they go 1366x768 on a 15 screen? How long is the battery life?

Not a power user and didn't know how to start a new thread, but there are some current coupon codes here: http://www.freestuffs.info/2012/0...codes.html

Before you ask whether or not you should buy this, ask yourself:
"if they mark the price way up then give you a discount, would you buy it?"
and that's your answer

flyingbirdrd 09-16-2012 05:45 PM

why the rating is -6? something wrong with the laptop?

miko_espinoza 09-16-2012 05:48 PM

a bit too expensive for the specs

mrabuiv 09-16-2012 05:51 PM

lol poor OP fell for the highest discounted laptop under a $1000 and got a $600 laptop for $900

DEAL0 09-16-2012 07:06 PM

Last generation CPU and GPU and a low res screen all for $900 + tax? WHAT A DEAL!

DEAL0 09-16-2012 07:09 PM

But seriously, if you're looking for a good 15" lappy then wait for a deal like this one to roll around again... which it surely will.

farking Dell. This deal almost had my heart in my throat. I thought it was.. their latest XPS 15. Come up with some new damn names or something. Argh.

I thought it was this:

I thought it was a decent deal considering this was on the frontpage with similar stats.

What really sucks is that Dell dropped the 1080p B+RG LED screen on this model. It was one of the best laptop screens I've ever seen.
