Crucial M4 CT256M4SSD1 2.5" 256GB 7mm Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) - $150 at Newegg FS

65533 Attachment(s)
Looks like the price of the 7mm Crucial m4 is dropping even lower: Newegg is now offering it for $149.99:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...6820148530

Unlike the previous deal at buy.com, this deal has the advantage that it isn't necessary to use a first-time buyer coupon.

Update: Looks like the Newegg is out of stock, but buy.com has pricematched the $149.99 [buy.com]! (Thanks for pointing that out here, papasteves02!)

Bah, just ordered it for $160 from Amazon, wish this had showed up earlier. Too late to cancel the Amazon order.

taxcurmudgeon 09-17-2012 01:03 PM

Best price I've seen. And no rebate. I paid $160 AR about 2 months ago.

cyclops12t 09-17-2012 01:04 PM

funkiejack 09-17-2012 01:08 PM

It's pretty tempting, but I haven't bought one myself yet. I'm hoping the prices for mSATA SSDs get more reasonable soon, because that would be much more practical in a notebook with an mSATA slot. But this pricing for a 2.5" drive is hard to resist...

jdmap1 09-17-2012 01:26 PM

ssd prices been dropping like a rock. will continue to wait for now.

Newegg also sent out a 10% code on 9/14 to current customers. It ends 9/30/12. If you got one then it's 135.00

You're SOL. The only option you have is OWC(Macsales.com) and you're looking at $$$

wsm 09-19-2012 12:13 AM

Drive has returned to Newegg.com at $199.99. Better to wait for the deals coming up. Most of the production capacity has returned and drives of all types are getting cheaper.
