*sorry, error*

Would be hot if it included the mp3 credit.
|
The shitty OfficeSuite Professional wants $4.99 for fonts.

Even the app's I already have purchased via Amazon aren't worth installing that awful app ever again. Bloated and a constant annoyance. Get your act together Amazon.
|
why would you get it from amazon if you can get it from play store?
amazon appstore is way too slow when it comes to updating the app. it might be worth it for fire users.. but otherwise stick with play store |

The Market/PlayStore doesn't have that limitation. That really turned me off to buying from them ever again even though it shouldn't be that big of a deal. It just bothers me for some reason that the apps need the store in order to run. |
I would much rather just purchase from Google Play. If Amazon wants my business, they need to step it up and not just match what Google is doing.
|
I also prefer to use google play instead, but this is great news for ppl who don't have access to the play store like the kindle fire users.

Angry Birds Space will not play on your Kindle Fire....caught that just in time.
Although, I was going to buy a MP3 album and could use the extra buck...hmmm |

FAOTD isn't really worth most of them are crap and rarely good one BTW I was referring to apps on sale, not the Amazon app store in general |
It says Angry Birds Space is not compatible with my Kindle Fire! WTF!
Edit: Also, The Lorax is showing as $4 for me. |
So is it just me or are they taking away the free mp3?

Shortsighted discussion above. I bought all apps I wanted from both Play Store and Amazon Store. Why? If I pick up a used Kindle Fire, there they are. If I pick up a cheap device that does not support Gapps, they can be had through Amazon. If one or the other stores limits the number of devices on which they can be downloaded, I'll use the other. Outlay maybe four bucks. Its a quarter each folks...

some of the MP3 credits you get a code through your email - then you have to enter it for the credit to show up.
Also - every once in a while Coinstar has a promo going - you deposit at least $20 in coins/cash - ask for a Amazon gift certificate, and you would get a free voucher for $5 of mp3 credits. Unfortunately this last promo period ended last week - 9/23. But they usually run it every few months - so watch out for the next one. I scored $25 in free mp3 vouchers - I had $80 in coins stashed away, and cashed them in $20 at a time to get max mp3 vouchers. For the last $20, I had to add in cash to reach the full $20. Another way of going about it, if you shop a lot on Amazon (like I do - ebooks, mp3s, apps, etc.) is to go to the bank and get coins for your money - then feed in $20 at a time to get your $5 mp3 voucher in addition to your $20 voucher (it prints right below your $20 Amazon voucher codes). I know I'm going to keep my eyes open for the next Coinstar/Amazon Deal. Korian |

Sharing a Google account you're sharing email, docs, searches, phone numbers, etc. There's just a lot more tied to it. The free app of the day is occasionally decent too. |

Does the Amazon app store charge tax? If they do, gonna have to go with Google Play.

Not so much actually. S#&^^y google play kept crashing my tablet's. Samsung is allergic to Google play(can't tell you how awesome it was finding that out from the Tmobile tablet service dork) Delete cache and restart gets old REALLY fast. Not to mention that all my devices can pull easily from amazon, and that isn't the case with play. It's a misery to have 5 devices with google play. With Amazon app you just log in and go. There are lots of reasons to use Amazon instead of play and you don't seem to know any of them.:P If you prefer play fine, I can respect that, but preference isn't a terribly valid reason to make a definitive statement like that. I don't hate play on the phones (I despise it on the tablets) but it's nowhere near as good at meeting my needs as Amazon. It can be a resource hog for sure and the updating on some apps is most definitely lethargic. Put that up against the 150+ apps and multiple devices I can manage easily and without much BS or skipping around and Play is the crap option for my needs. Not trying to start a pissing match either, it only matters because that was my attitude when Amazon Apps launched  I got tired of the 3 hour calls to tmobile tech support and doing the cache clearing hokey mf'ing pokey and DL'd amazon. The pro's significantly outweigh the cons for my needs. Play is a fine app, but there are some conditions that make Amazon Apps the better option. |
