Can anybody tell me what this would power? For example if you were one of the people who lost power after Hurricane Sandy would this help? Or is it too small?

To answer my own question, just checked out the reviews at harbor freight. They are great reviews. I am going to pick one or 2 of these up.
You dont't have to go out of your way on BF to get this. The price is the same or very close throughout the year. It is on sale all the time.
